  • We drive the Lexus RX350 F-Sport in Boulder, Colorado. Does this small SUV earn it's F-Sport badge? What does a badge even mean anymore? Ryan tests it out in the snow and on windy roads to find out.
The Lexus RX350 F-Sport starts at $48,535 and features a 270hp 3.5-liter V6. The model tested features Lexus' optional Active Torque Control all-wheel drive.

Man, crap review. Take a look at a BMW X5 or an Audi Q5 with say 100000miles on. You’ll find them in the workshop looking ragged. The Lexus will still feel crisp. Materials are top class. Lexus’s 3.5 is one of the best motors ever made.

Unfortunately, unlike the German competition, Lexus’s clients like comfort, luxury, and reliability that’s not underpowered. German auto makers market to people who want a luxury car with a sporty edge. That being said I wish Lexus took adding a true performance pedigree to their line up because that’s the only thing I wish my IS 350 had more of. It has solid power for a lux intermediate sedan(~300hp), but the handling is poor when compared to bmw, Audi, Mercedes.

Mercedes for years. Finally we switched to Lexus and never look back you can’t beat the reliability.

And the menu is just fine, looks cool and it is not complicated to use. And if it is much worse than the Audi`s, think of time saved at the repair shop if you own a Lexus and not an Audi.

The reviewer definetly has no clue what kind of people are into buying a Lexus SUV, they are not the people trying to kill themselves on a daily basis flooring it in every snowy U-turn and hill climb. They are the people who prefer comfort, ownership reliability, 5/5 services. I want the reviewer to check out some reliability charts from Lexus RX's main rivals like Mercedes ML, Audi Q7, BMW X5, they all fail under Lexus reliability and under radar luxury.
What comes to sticking to the F-sport. Reviewer must be in the line of opinnion aswell against Mercedes AMG-line, BMW M-Package, Audi S-line. They all just improve interior/exterior looks in a sportier way and have nothing to do actual performance and are not meant to. AMG models, M models and S models are all seperate from the bodykit packages you can buy for the basic range models.

You guy are kids, different people likes different things. Not everyone like the same things. If you don't like the car, is your own stupid opinion. Go look at cars that you like. Some people like the soft feel of a car, other like fast cars. Just remember it does not matter how fast your car is. And he's also right about the dash (3:59), it needs re-doing, that silly swoopy look with the 1998 Ford Taurus style radio for a/c controls. It's not a clean design, looks dumb. He's also right about the throttle lag, annoying, if you not expecting it like when you need to pass, nailing it to get into traffic or emergency response. This SUV is touching 50G, a lot of dough.
