      Well said! That is the main reason I got a 2015 350 RX F Sport L/Certified, so far no complains.

    Shouldn't this compete more with the X3 and the RDX? Seems a little small to compete with the MDX and X5. Also, the X5 has a 3rd row option as well. Also the pricing mostly match the BMW X3 and RDX....

      Funny you mentioned that, considering the Acura MDX, BMW X5 and Lexus RX are technically mid-size luxury SUVs (in BMW's case, SAV [since they're so insistent on it]), whereas the X3 and RDX are both compact.

    Great looking exterior as always when compared to its competitors since its first debut (albeit the 330 with the euro lens tail lights you find on the new Rogue and the hybrid with the over exaggerated indented front lip/ bumper) but yowza, the interior quality has really gone downhill.

    He's right, that mouse thing for the radio and nav is awful. Not intuitive to use at all.

    nice review as always. that lag when you punched it was ridiculous. with no turbo, there's no reason for it. makes me wonder if there's some type off odd fuel saving function enabled.

    Love the review, but the car itself... The interior is hideous. All the plastic looks like it belongs in a chevy cobolt.

  • @723lion
    @723lion Před 10 lety +3

    The only car you should NOT buy in the Lexus line is the RX, given its poor performance, safety rating, reliable and resale value. Believe it or not, 99.99% of the RX are made in Mexico, US and Canada, and they are charging you like one of those premium Japan made vehicles.

    • @angelbluerider9588
      @angelbluerider9588 Před 4 lety +7

      How come they las to long then lol 🤣😂😂😂

    • @ryanpham3308
      @ryanpham3308 Před 2 lety +6

      Six years, I know... but please think about how short-sighted this is. The RX has been produced since day one in Japan, at Toyota's Kyushu (Fukuoka) plant. Sure, localized models for the North American market are assembled in Cambridge, Ontario by TMMC (which you _are_ correct about); however, no other sources list production for the car anywhere in the US or in Mexico, the latter of which you're more likely to find BMW, Ford, Stellantis and GM products.
      What's more, AL10 generation RXs, regardless of powertrain, hold 48% resale value at 100k miles after 10 years on average. The 2GR-FE engine, while being much more technically advanced than... say, the 5S-FE, is also heralded as one of the most robustly designed motors from the company itself.
      Whatever website you acquired your misinformation from... or whatever you're smoking/drinking, do consider keeping mum your erroneous opinions every now and then. Maybe it'll save you another verbal thrashing.

      @@ryanpham3308 yeah, I was going to say the same thing. Coming from an owner of a 2010 RX 350 built in Cambridge Ontario. My RX is flawless!
