Very nice building. I thought I was going to be all right in terms of Hirst Arts molds but now with the 4 inch tower and the conical roof. I have to buy some more. IT IS AN ADDICTION. But plaster is more healthy for my health than other addictions. Thanks for the build.
amazing as usual... i surely will be buying the tower for my next order, im thinking sometime around october, another snow set because you did amazing with my first.
Good stuff!!! That tower is absolutely awesome, it's has to be one of the best pieces of wargame terrain that I've seen. Now blow some holes in it and crumble the roof so we can use it in 40K :)
Wow, that tower is amazing, I have all those molds minus the slate mold and am thinking of building a tower like that and maybe incorporate the octagon tower mold into it.
I know this is an older video, but can you tell me what material you would recommend to cast with?. Is it worth doing them in resin. I'm paranoid about the weaker pieces snapping afetr going to all the trouble of making something nice. Cheers, and great channel by the way. :)
I've used many plasters over the years. Resin is stronger but it's the glue joins that fail. Resin is lighter though so less stress on the joints. Casting resin into the molds will age them however, so that's a consideration. I recommend Hydrocal 30, Tufstone, or Hydrostone if you're doing a lot of castings. If your not going to do a TON of castings, Merlins Magic or Excaliber are good choices. Not everyone needs a 50lb bag after all. ;)
I know about his tutorials and watched nearly all of it but your style of painting seemed a bit different. like; your brickworks seems to have a boneish finish. true? or you do the same?

@@Terranscapes "Needs". No. (bought it anyway! :D )
can u plase write in text all the moulds you used on that building, its fantastic.
where can I learn more about the vacuum process to eliminate bubbles?
Hmm... I'm not sure really. I would look for a couple of videos that show vacuum degassing for mold rubbers. The process is essentially the same. :)
I feel like I found a secret video.
can you please tell me how did you paint the bricky parts and the roof?
Hey, I am planning on making a "vehicle refeuling center" for my 40k, and I ended up stealing 3 soup cans. I'll let u know when Its up.
