Model railroad building kits can have a lot of neat little pieces to repurpose, trestle bridge kits too... Use alot of that stuff building post-apocalyptic model cars
good work this looks amazing , i really like the buliding made from parts of the hobby kits and the way you used the magnics to hold the brige in too place , your videos are great they have really help me with getting ideas and tips on making a piece of terrain or a buliding to bulid by myself thank you , keep up the good work
For the connectors on the pegasus pieces, I often put a very small bit of green stuff around the connectors, then I paint them as small illumination lights, like it was illuminating the way to go...it generally turns out looking pretty good :) P.s. Sorry for the comment on an old video :l
I know this is an older video, and I really truly thank you for putting this type of thing up on CZcams. Just a quick question what do you use to cut your styrene sheeting? Is it thin enough to be able to just use scissors? Stay awesome man! I enjoy all of your videos.
Hey Terranscapes! Hope you are well. Sorry to comment on one of your old videos but I was wondering if you could help me. Looking at this "Pegasus Hobbies" materials. Do you have any advice on buying the flooring pieces etc. I had a quick look around and found some sets but nothing quite what I wanted. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the excellent work and thanks for sharing. Kamm
No problem commenting on old videos. I get a lot of them. :) I'm not sure about flooring. They don't have dedicated kits for walls, floors, etc. You might try the platformer kit since it has a larger ratio of floor panels. pegasushobbies.net/catalog/Peg.-Gaming-Accessories/c2/index.html?osCsid=jos8aoc82i160avsv2hdtb6fd6 That link shows the entire line I believe, so if they don't work - you may need to seek out other options. Of course, don't forget that they can be modified, and some of the wall panels on some kits could be used for flooring as well. :)
Thanks a lot mate! that is great. I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question and share the link. Hope you are well and keep up the great work! ;D
They are a more brittle plastic, but I rarely connect them the way they are intended. They make great add-on's to pieces. If you're gentle with them, and trim the flash from the connectors I think you can assemble them more easily. :)
Rick Sandfort I do quite a bit of casting, but in this case, it's much easier to buy a set and use out of the box. Of course, I'm doing a bit of modifications to them. ;)
Very very helpful for my own upcoming project (also hoping to merge GW and Pegasus parts). Thank you!

millimeters. but it may even be centimeters.

Depends on the thickness. Usually a utility knife with a straight edge. I'll expand on this in a viewer comment section. Good question!
awsome every second an inspiration
very impressive! well done!
Hi! nice video! I have a question about the tile from 14:00~14:30. What is its product name and brand? Please let me know in detail. Thank you.

the Pegasus hobby kits I had gotten were made of horribly brittle plastic, and the connectors were snapping when I tried to attach them

Very nice...my stuff is crap compared to yours! But maybe one day
nicely done
Please tell me what you use as the base board for your buildings
whats the closest thing plastic in the USA i cant seem to find anything?
Awesome building! I want one ha as for the GW stuff, have u tried mm? they are a european company after all
thank you, found it
Millenium is a 1000 years period and Not a Century .
Oh, if I made a mistake on that it was probably a goof from trying to focus on the piece. Not the first, or last, goof. :)
Have you tried using the GW buildings floor panels for the bridge?
That would work well. The imperial sector kit doesn't come with that many though so I stretched my materials with styrene sheets.
Curious as to what game this is for, and what " pegasus " kits you are referring to?
This is for Warhammer 40k, and Pegasus Hobbies produces some terrain kits that I used for add-ons to the Games Workshop pieces. :)
Thank you! Did you consider resin casting the pieces that you needed?
