Started red light therapy 3 years ago on my collapsed disc. I've spent $10's of thousands on various "fixes" since it occurred in 1984. Within 18 months of daily use (at least 20min/day) it completely healed. No tenderness, no agonizing pain ... just normal. As a biomedical engineer I was astonished to find that research started on this over 40 years ago. Millions of people around the world have been helped by it, yet no doctor I ever talked to, and most people, had ever heard of it. Lots of different models at all prices available even on Amazon, eBay, ...

Big pharma can still take advantage of this. For example, they can create some kind of “quality seal” that costs thousands of dollars for each device and falsely accuse devices without this seal of being fake.

I was introduced to RLT back in 2004. I bought a pen-sized device for $200. I was skeptical, but I trusted the practitioner who offered to purchase one for me. I had to borrow his while visiting his office. So it was convenient to use my own at home. I had severe surgical abdominal scars that have since smoothed out. I was unable to wear tshirts without them being noticeable. Now they are so smooth, you can't tell I have anything there, other than some discoloration. You have to be patient and diligently use the device and guaranteed you'd see the difference. This is only a small way RLT can make a positive effect in your life. I now have a larger one and it's helping me greatly after knee surgery. I have not had to take Norco at all. It really helps with the pain and spending up the healing process of the scars left behind.

Quick/fun *_mitochondria_* facts: *(1) 10% of your bodyweight is your mitochondria-that's the astounding number of them that you have. (2) Your mitochondria convert the equivalent of your bodyweight of ADP (or AMP) to ATP every 24 hours (ADP ↔ATP is recyclable/cyclical and non-destructive, so very few new molecules have to enter the recharge/discharge cycle, unless you're exercising or under stress.) (3) All your mitochondria came from your mother, and from her mother, your grandmother, her mother...*

It does create relaxation but the specs are important: 830 strength Red and 600 near infrared ( or something like that- need to check it out.) also, there is a danger of melting fat on your face and you don’t want to do that. I believe the way to prevent this is to not allow it to get too warm so when I do mine, I hold it at least 6 inches from my face.
Then there are the people who say that putting green tea on your face increases the effectiveness, but if it is, indeed, the Hormetic effects that are beneficial, this would contradict that.

RLT works not because it’s LED but because it’s red. In fact, red light is most studied in laser form. LED is the cheaper version. (Not to say LED doesn’t work. I believe it does.) My point is that a bulb could possibly work. It just depends on the wavelengths coming out of the bulbs.

I’m a76 yr old woman. With many maladies including cancer. I cannot afford every good thing at this point but wish I could work again. If there’s only one thing I bought, what would you say brings the biggest result. I’m into the organic foods, pretty much vegan and removed most or all chemicals in my home. Cancer was gone but after a hurricane last year the home was inhabitable. I stayed in the driveway in a trailer for 11 mos & my lifestyle became very different. Back home inside now. Cancer cells (in my head) can & do turn back into healthy cells. Do you think I should get a red light therapy machine? Thank you for your input. Appreciate input. 😊

3:33 Why are you positioning yourself SO far away from the red light unit? I've been having red led light therapy three times a week for the past 12 weeks, and the clinician lowers the 4 different red led units to about 10 cm above my body. The base of the red light unit is very much like a sunbed, but with thousands of red led lights implanted into the glass 'bed'. Effectively I'm cocooned above and below, 360° by powerful red led lights in different frequencies. The chiropractor says the light sources needed to be as close as possible to the body to provide any therapeutic benefit.
I have to admit, I've felt no benefits other than a sort of 'relaxation' feeling during the treatments. My pain levels are the same, I'm still sleeping up to 20 hours a day - and feeling tired during most of the 4 hours I'm 'awake'. No change in skin, energy levels, nothing. Luckily, the red light treatment I'm receiving is free through a scientific trail I was fortunate enough to get accepted onto. I've spoken to two fellow guinea-pigs who are on the trial and both their experiences match mine, sadly. The trial is set to last another 16 weeks, (so 28 weeks, 84 sessions in total.) but I can't see how any 'improvement' can be expected when I've already received 36 x 60+ minute sessions over the last 12 weeks.
Funnily enough, I bought Ari's book about a year ago and that's where I first learned about this 'treatment'.
I hope it does work for others, but based on my current experience I think it's a nice idea which does not work.
    I so hope I'm wrong.
The scientist/chiropractor who is running the study says he won't personally be providing red light therapy treatment in his clinics when the study ends in about 18 months. He suggested that each one hour treatment that the current 'batch' of study volunteers receives would cost about £50. That's a lot of money for something that doesn't seem to work. By the time my 84 sessions are up I'll have received £4200 value as part of the study. I'd probably be quite happy to pay that if it worked!

Hello, this is the voice of The Acoustic Rabbit Hole, writing fr. my main channl. I am a synesthete who was driven to research the nature of our hearing in reference to specific tones. This has led me to many rather incredible discoveries about the innate psychology of each note (and therefore, key). There seems to be a specific color association or color "essence" for each note. Also, in the process of my researching I began to tune to A-432 Scientific Tuning (instead of the A-440 standard). The reason I'm speaking today is that I have a strong feeling that the C-note is the note that would have the SAME effects of red-light therapy. And if you are going to use C, I recommenced to have it tuned to C-256 Scientific Tuning to make sure it has maximum effect. Start with an C-256 therapy tuning fork (the ones with a ball on the bottom). Hope this give some healing insights! Be well, and God Bless! - _The Acoustic Rabbit Hole_

EVERYONE in these videos tries to make it look so chill and fun to do this therapy. Its NOT. you have to basically stand in front of it 6-12 inches for 10-15 minutes each area. How much IR penetration are you getting being over a foot away from the light. I used these panels at first, then went to an LED bed, no comparison: Light and other electromagnetic radiation
The intensity (or illuminance or irradiance) of light or other linear waves radiating from a point source (energy per unit of area perpendicular to the source) is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the source, so an object (of the same size) twice as far away receives only one-quarter the energy (in the same time period).

Dr Terry Wahls, recommends red light therapy. If you have MS and don’t know who she is, please look her up. I control my MS with food and exercise. No drugs.

I appreciate the video. But, the background music was totally unneeded, and distracting.
