Started red light therapy 3 years ago on my collapsed disc. I've spent $10's of thousands on various "fixes" since it occurred in 1984. Within 18 months of daily use (at least 20min/day) it completely healed. No tenderness, no agonizing pain ... just normal. As a biomedical engineer I was astonished to find that research started on this over 40 years ago. Millions of people around the world have been helped by it, yet no doctor I ever talked to, and most people, had ever heard of it. Lots of different models at all prices available even on Amazon, eBay, ...
Big pharma can still take advantage of this. For example, they can create some kind of “quality seal” that costs thousands of dollars for each device and falsely accuse devices without this seal of being fake. Heliotherapy (sunlight) offers all the benefits of red light therapy and much more, is free and used to be recommended by doctors before corporations.

I was introduced to RLT back in 2004. I bought a pen-sized device for $200. I was skeptical, but I trusted the practitioner who offered to purchase one for me. I had to borrow his while visiting his office. So it was convenient to use my own at home. I had severe surgical abdominal scars that have since smoothed out. I was unable to wear tshirts without them being noticeable. Now they are so smooth, you can't tell I have anything there, other than some discoloration. You have to be patient and diligently use the device and guaranteed you'd see the difference. This is only a small way RLT can make a positive effect in your life. I now have a larger one and it's helping me greatly after knee surgery. I have not had to take Norco at all. It really helps with the pain and spending up the healing process of the scars left behind.
My knee has been sore for days from a work out. I used my red light therapy face mask on my sore knee one night and the next morning I barely had any pain. I don’t know if this was a coincidence or not.
I have several bad keloid scars that were very raised and red, they've smoothed out and reduced in redness on their own after a couple of years. I wonder if you would have seen similar results with just time?
I suffer from fatigue. I bought an infrared portable sauna for about 1000 dollars. I definitely notice to results after using it the next day. Without it I wake up and it takes me a couple of hours to get going in the morning. When, I do the sauna I just feel more energized the next day and my mood it lifted. It is also very calming when in the sauna.
I have lupus, chronic inflammation all over my body and when I get the flu I am really, really sick for 2 or 3 weeks. It’s terrible! I have just begun my red light therapy. I’ve only done it twice, lol. I noticed that I was extremely happy afterward both seasons. I don’t know if the happy feeling was related to the red light therapy or if it was just my on excitement in the hope the potential benefits that the red light therapy is going to do. Anyway, I am going to continue! I’m hoping not to get sick this fall/winter or at least not be sick as long! 🙏🏼
I have Celiac disease, Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriasis guttate, leaky gut, asthma. I just ordered a red light therapy belt. I will use it at my belly, hoping it may help my gut. I am wondering if I can use it on my chest for my Asthma. But I’m not sure if red light therapy is okay to use on the lungs and it would also effect my heart. Not sure if it’s good to use red light therapy on the heart?

This is such a brilliant video, Kyle. Thank you. I've been reading a lot about Red Light and Near Infered Light to purchase my first Red Light with Near Infered Light panel. I did my first session yesterday, where both types of light were on simultaneously. I noticed a lift in my mood and energy afterwards. When I went to bed last night, I was out for the count with no effort to wake up, having had my first fully rested and deep sleep I've not had in a long time. I'm now on my Red Light NI light journey and so excited to reap and experience the many wonderful benefits.

I find your research very interesting as I am about to start a study with this lamp for the coming month but the only remark I have to make right away is that the sound in the background really distracted me from listening to your information especially when the expert comes in. bro, when lifting go full motion. Your incline dumbbell press didn't even break parallel. Muscle grows and strengthens way better when it involves full motion. I enjoyed your video on RLT.
It does create relaxation but the specs are important: 830 strength Red and 600 near infrared ( or something like that- need to check it out.) also, there is a danger of melting fat on your face and you don’t want to do that. I believe the way to prevent this is to not allow it to get too warm so when I do mine, I hold it at least 6 inches from my face. Then there are the people who say that putting green tea on your face increases the effectiveness, but if it is, indeed, the Hormetic effects that are beneficial, this would contradict that. So - I bought a $50 panel and I am experimenting with it.
my 10 yr old son with Aspergers has a very large ring light - and he told me the other night that red is most soothing to him. i found it odd that it wasn't blue or green ..
Thank you for your videos and content. I’ve been using red light therapy for months now and feel and notice a difference. But even if I didn’t feel or notice it, sounds like in someway it’s doing something good.
I loved your comments on "I didn't notice any difference" You take anti inflammatory supplements. Don't notice a thing. Did you get cancer ? Are you aging more slowly ? How's you blood sugar ? Did you get Alzheimers or Parkinsons ? T2D ? Most effects of doing what;s right are what DOESN'T happen.
Inflammation (from working out) promotes muscle regeneration. It's what triggers muscle to grow. So that red light is probably whats keeping you small. If you wanna give mitochondria extra energy, take creatine
I hope you can comment on this, I have been using red light at a tanning salon for 2 weeks now, but they don’t have a LED bed but they converted a tanning bed to red light bulbs. How good are these compared ? Do they work ?
RLT works not because it’s LED but because it’s red. In fact, red light is most studied in laser form. LED is the cheaper version. (Not to say LED doesn’t work. I believe it does.) My point is that a bulb could possibly work. It just depends on the wavelengths coming out of the bulbs.
Red light before 11am. Trials done for eyesight only worked in the am. No effect when mitochondria stimulated in the afternoon. Mitochondria appears to have a circadian rhythm.
I’ve been using panels for about 2 months. Quickly saw gains in sleep. Some detox and some skin. I’m still experimenting. Do you have some protocols that have worked for your recovery/muscle gain? Morning or evening? Twice a day? How long. Thank you
The overall feeling of balance and wellbeing for me is profound. Can't believe I didn't find out about it sooner after years and years of trying to correct myself with various supplements and techniques which never worked...
Did my 1st RLT session a few days ago and hooked immediately!! I bought a cheaper product for now but going to invest in a Rouge Pro with stand soon. I have Vitiligo now from the vaccine and heard RLT can help make my spots disappear and this auto immune disease go away...I had a 2nd session yesterday and my energy level and mood is amazing! I'm usually always worn out and yawning😄 Looking forward to RLT changing my life too!!!
Curious about those spots going away . I have them too but in strange places and together with that I also got alopecia ( hair loss) thank God hair grew back . The sleeping sounds great seeing as only sleep a few hours, but I have become a fairly good runner. Sleep is very important seeing as train 3 times a week. Love to know about this device . Much love xxx
Isn’t this the same as getting into the sun ? They’ve told us for so long that the sun is bad 🙄. My doctor told me to get into the sun everyday for at least 25 minutes to increase vitamin D which is responsible for ALL KINDS of issues . I noticed that I felt sooooo much better . I was energized , in a really good mood , it helped me with thyroid antibodies , and also I’ve lost almost 30 lbs since .
you can not get the same intensity of near infrared and red light with damaging effects of UV in the sun, so the benefit comes with the greater intensity of those spectrums of light, but yes the sun is GREAT! and most people need more of it!

Good Morning, Which Infrared device do I need ? A) Infrared only 850Nm (bulbs) B) Both Infrared 850NM (LEDs) and Red Light 650Nm(LEDs) C) Red Light only 650Nm (LEDs) ?
I grew up with red light therapy in Germany in the seventies. My parents always had one that you would sit in front of for fifteen minutes for pain reduction.
3:33 Why are you positioning yourself SO far away from the red light unit? I've been having red led light therapy three times a week for the past 12 weeks, and the clinician lowers the 4 different red led units to about 10 cm above my body. The base of the red light unit is very much like a sunbed, but with thousands of red led lights implanted into the glass 'bed'. Effectively I'm cocooned above and below, 360° by powerful red led lights in different frequencies. The chiropractor says the light sources needed to be as close as possible to the body to provide any therapeutic benefit. I have to admit, I've felt no benefits other than a sort of 'relaxation' feeling during the treatments. My pain levels are the same, I'm still sleeping up to 20 hours a day - and feeling tired during most of the 4 hours I'm 'awake'. No change in skin, energy levels, nothing. Luckily, the red light treatment I'm receiving is free through a scientific trail I was fortunate enough to get accepted onto. I've spoken to two fellow guinea-pigs who are on the trial and both their experiences match mine, sadly. The trial is set to last another 16 weeks, (so 28 weeks, 84 sessions in total.) but I can't see how any 'improvement' can be expected when I've already received 36 x 60+ minute sessions over the last 12 weeks. Funnily enough, I bought Ari's book about a year ago and that's where I first learned about this 'treatment'. I hope it does work for others, but based on my current experience I think it's a nice idea which does not work. I so hope I'm wrong. The scientist/chiropractor who is running the study says he won't personally be providing red light therapy treatment in his clinics when the study ends in about 18 months. He suggested that each one hour treatment that the current 'batch' of study volunteers receives would cost about £50. That's a lot of money for something that doesn't seem to work. By the time my 84 sessions are up I'll have received £4200 value as part of the study. I'd probably be quite happy to pay that if it worked!
How does it differ from a standard 10w led red light? Would it have a similar effect? I usually use candles in the evening, and surely notice something, especially how sleep improves
If you live in a sunny place you don’t need the device. You can get plenty of IR sunlight while avoiding skin-damaging UV light, AND help your circadian cycle too - by being OUTSIDE after sunrise and before 9 or 10am, or after 4 or 5pm before sunset.
agree, but re: anxiety and depression...IF the only cause of that is physical or pathological detoxed but it's not a substitute for trauma therapy and healing. It's not either, or..it's both.
Bonus advantage: anti-aging/skincare . My skin has changed so much since I've incorporated Red Light therapy. I agree...why isn't this more out there! People should know!

This is wonderful! I am using your link to buy one, I’m a practitioner and in Australia , should I buy the bigger one or the one you show in the video? Thanks for all that you do! Love , Jackie
I have the longer one (720). But I bought it about 5 years ago. Now they come with a stand. And they also offer a special price if you buy a pair. A pair is great as it cuts your session time in half. No more front. Then back. Both at once. However, since mine is older, it died t gave a stand. So I contacted Red Rush and they’re working on a stand and clamp to accommodate the older models. So I might also consider purchasing another newer one so I can do front and back simultaneously.
I just got my Saunaspace. The LEDs have such big panels with all the separate bulbs bc each one can only send out a certain wave length so to get a wider spectrum they use a lot. Also they can give you flicker and emf stress. The natural incandescent bulbs give the whole spectrum, no flicker, go in all directions, and low emfs

Hi! Is there difference between that red light shines visible stright on skin or the main thing is that the infrared waves are working, for example - like in infrared sauna blankets? Sorry for my english 😊
There are varying frequencies at which light shines (even within a color). There are only health benefits from particular wavelength frequencies. Research this and ensure the product you buy is accurate.

@@lana4442 It has helped. The unit I got was very small but I was able to concentrate the light on one area at a time. My hip was the area that was giving me the most trouble. I used it at night before going to bed. I saw a reduction in pain that resulted in improvement in my sleep. Based on my experiences, my daughter bought the same unit a couple of months ago. She experiences shoulder and neck pain. She reports that the light is helping her as well. I bought the smallest, least expensive unit I could find. I would like to purchase a larger unit sometime this year.
red light is bullshit. sunlight is a combination of all lights including red light. even blue light in the day is beneficial for setting up circadian rhythm and other benefits. so sunlight is clearly better than red light

That spectrum of light (red light, not near infrared) has been shown to help improve eyesight as well, as it stimulates the mitochodria in the retinas. However, probably not at that brightness/intensity. And obviously those particuar ones come with glasses, so I am not recommending it whatsoever from these lights that are meant for your skin/body. Look into it though
Hello, this is the voice of The Acoustic Rabbit Hole, writing fr. my main channl. I am a synesthete who was driven to research the nature of our hearing in reference to specific tones. This has led me to many rather incredible discoveries about the innate psychology of each note (and therefore, key). There seems to be a specific color association or color "essence" for each note. Also, in the process of my researching I began to tune to A-432 Scientific Tuning (instead of the A-440 standard). The reason I'm speaking today is that I have a strong feeling that the C-note is the note that would have the SAME effects of red-light therapy. And if you are going to use C, I recommenced to have it tuned to C-256 Scientific Tuning to make sure it has maximum effect. Start with an C-256 therapy tuning fork (the ones with a ball on the bottom). Hope this give some healing insights! Be well, and God Bless! - _The Acoustic Rabbit Hole_
What you are doing is great but you have to remember if you have an injury the body will produce inflammation for a few days to help the body heal itself so you don't need to stop inflammation for a few days
I just find it so hard to do sessions on a regular basis. sucks these companies charge so much for horizontal stands, which I think is the easiest way to fit these into your day. The way he is using the light at 3:30 is not going to do anything...he's like 3 feet away. You would need to sit there for hours. EVERYONE in these videos tries to make it look so chill and fun to do this therapy. Its NOT. you have to basically stand in front of it 6-12 inches for 10-15 minutes each area. Not saying it isn't worth it....but its not easy to do this for about 20-30 minutes a day 5 times a week.
If I put a plastic filter sheet over a regular bulb. Will if give any benefits? I had an LED red-light therapy bulb but I got rid of it because you have to wear goggles to protect your eyes. I want something cheap and easy I can leave on while I'm watching movies.
Have you tested the EMF’s on this though? Someone else posted about this.. and super interesting the reader was going off the charts! Would love to hear you thoughts!!!
@@wellnessdaddy perfect! What an interesting video that would be! To find the best one with he least EMF’s! (Would love to see this for inferred saunas too!) Apparently with saunas Clear Light is a really good one (low EMF) but would love to see an experiment on this! :)

How much IR penetration are you getting being over a foot away from the light. I used these panels at first, then went to an LED bed, no comparison: Light and other electromagnetic radiation The intensity (or illuminance or irradiance) of light or other linear waves radiating from a point source (energy per unit of area perpendicular to the source) is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the source, so an object (of the same size) twice as far away receives only one-quarter the energy (in the same time period).

I don’t know if the happy feeling was related to the red light therapy or if it was just my on excitement in the hope the potential benefits that the red light therapy is going to do. Curious why eye protection when red light is beneficial to eyes?
to much of a good thing might blind you .
Is the eye protection the same as a tan bed?
Many panels also include near infrared light too though
It does create relaxation but the specs are important: 830 strength Red and 600 near infrared ( or something like that- need to check it out.) also, there is a danger of melting fat on your face and you don’t want to do that. I believe the way to prevent this is to not allow it to get too warm so when I do mine, I hold it at least 6 inches from my face.
Then there are the people who say that putting green tea on your face increases the effectiveness, but if it is, indeed, the Hormetic effects that are beneficial, this would contradict that.
So - I bought a $50 panel and I am experimenting with it.
What panel did you get? I want to start but the cheapest one on his website is 300$
Hi can you give me a link to info about melting facial fat please!?

You take anti inflammatory supplements.
Don’t think so
I have the same question? Thank yoy
RLT works not because it’s LED but because it’s red. In fact, red light is most studied in laser form. LED is the cheaper version. (Not to say LED doesn’t work. I believe it does.) My point is that a bulb could possibly work. It just depends on the wavelengths coming out of the bulbs.
CC @kylegotcamera
I converted mine , switched the original ones for beautylights, that’s how they are named. It definately helps.
Red light before 11am. Trials done for eyesight only worked in the am. No effect when mitochondria stimulated in the afternoon. Mitochondria appears to have a circadian rhythm.
That's very interesting. Can you please direct me to this study?

Why so far away from light ... l thought 4 inches is closes but way further
Is this infra red light or near infrared?
What you are doing is great but you have to remember if you have an injury the body will produce inflammation for a few days to help the body heal itself so you don't need to stop inflammation for a few days
I wonder if near infrared sauna has the same effect? Or do these panels actually have any additional lights for additional benefits.

How much IR penetration are you getting being over a foot away from the light. I used these panels at first, then went to an LED bed, no comparison: Light and other electromagnetic radiation
The intensity (or illuminance or irradiance) of light or other linear waves radiating from a point source (energy per unit of area perpendicular to the source) is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the source, so an object (of the same size) twice as far away receives only one-quarter the energy (in the same time period).
