The first time I played Phasmophobia, I walked around in an empty house for fifteen minutes, checked all the rooms, laid down on a pentagram and nothing happened. I think I was playing as Shane.
When you laid on the pentagram did you say “rock n’ roll buckaroo!”
Had a very similar experience. 30 minutes in I had started yelling “come at me, bro”. After absolutely zero activity up to that point, the ghost did indeed “come at me, bro” with a sickle in hand. I thought I was Shane up until that point, then I quickly turned into Ryan 😅
You gotta play on a harder level. I think the campsite if the hardest to beat by far
@@jaehyunsbread1490 The campsite is a pain because it absolutely negates using the thermometer for finding the haunt room (not to mention, it’s easier to get lost). I also really like the little Easter eggs in it. I always run off to the dock to trigger Jason’s mask floating up 😁

Why on earth aren’t they doing multiplayer? So one of them is dying in the house while the other runs away and we get to see Ryan be a ghost and throw things at Shane. 😂

I'm low-key guessing they really only have one controller or something, but even then the boys probably game at home?? Either way the setup seems slightly awkward. Just give the kids what they want and straight up let this be a lets play series with them both 🤷🤷🤷 instead of one awkwardly watching like they're kids playing Sims

I was thinking the same thing. He's really ragging on this game for not having ghost appearances after playing it one time but I haven't seen a single ghost in either of his ghost hunting series. Not to mention that it's blatantly obvious that he has no idea how to actually play Phasmaphobia.

Phasmophobia fans feeling very defensive today
It's been mentioned already, but multiplayer is a big component of the game. The audio works realistically so you can communicate at all time with walkies but only when you are close to each other without them. It also allows you to have more tools at a time and be more likely to actually experience the hauntings going on. Also, things get crazier the longer you make it, so having two people (the ghost only haunts one at a time) helps you see a lot more crazy shit. Also, as much as it would be cool to emulate real life, you'll get way more out of it if you read the basic instructions and tips. Just a tip of you decide to play again for season two. There's a reason this game was a big hit for streamers, and it isn't because it's boring.

It's the funniest thing ever when you play with a group of people who are easily terrified or like to taunt the ghost.
Yea it’s not very fun watching them play games without even trying to understand how it’s supposed to be played in the end. Like yea go in blind the first time but after a couple of failed plays they should really be trying to learn it. ☹️

I just wanna say, Ryan was a real one for trying to tank that motion sickness after he was feeling it, I know afterwards personally once you get hit, you're laying down for like an hour atleast before you feel better, so to muscle through the episode after getting sick man, thats some real grit. Good stuff as always!

I feel like, because of limited gameplay they were able to devote to this series, all the games didn't get fair discovery except Poppy. But that's because Poppy takes like 2 hours to complete at most..
@@grizzerh4786 yeah, I'm sure they're busy with all the other series, but I don't think this one is going to be very successful unless they change the format somehow (and by successful I mean quality-wise. anything they put out is going to be successful in terms of views because hey, its the ghoul boys & co)

May I suggest revisiting this game with someone who has played it before? :) I think a big reason why you didn't enjoy it is that you weren't really aware of what to do so having a bit of guidance might be nice. Also, play it multiplayer with both of you! That adds a lot to the game, especially with proximity chat ^^
Me too! This is an indie game and it’s actually very fun, but you can’t go in completely blind.

There's a tuitorial in this game, I haven't played it but I guess it should give at least a bit of idea about how to play the game. They(Ryan and Shane) **probably** haven't tried but, Idk tbh, as I haven't tried the tuitorial muself as I already knew how to play the game by watching yt vids earlier and later on gained more experience. Anyways, if you know how to play the game, it's really fun, espeically with friends. And most of the people who asked them to play already knew how to play. They should've considered the target audience. Also I'm not telling that everyone needs a mentor but when you're a content creator, I mean people at least expect you to know the basics of game.

With people that have limited time, and need to keep the content interesting/engaging. Even with gratuitous editing.
Figuring out the game on your own is absolutely possible. But it takes time and a little concentration, which is not very interesting to watch.
Having a third person that already understands everything; saves a lot of time, energy, and helps keep the content engaging.
Phasmophobia is a fun game. (Multiplayer being fun for different reasons.) But it's sort of fun in the way strategy card games are fun.
There's a training period that can be mitigated with the guidance of an experienced player.

LOL this is the first time I've ever seen someone DISAPPOINTED in phasmophobia. It's 100% because they didn't do co-op. I think you can have 3-4 players at once ( ?) would be hilarious with Zach and Keith or even Stephen and someone else from watcher 😂 still one of my favorite videos though, seeing Ryan and Shane swap personalities was completely unexpected 🤣

phasmo is such weird game, I dont understand how people like it. Its not scary, you dont really do anything beside writing in a little notebook and praying that the ghost you selected was the correct one even thought they are barely different from each other. You dont really get rid of the ghost youre just like "this is a demon, job done, pack it up guys".

What's amazing is that this game has a tutorial that's like, 10 minutes long that teaches you the whole game lol
And it is great! I didn't play it till dozens of hours in, in true gamer fashion but I did go back and try it out whilst waiting on my buddy and it truly teaches you everything needed. Also with 2 of them there, play the multiplayer version of it. H*ck since they could do it from their own homes they could have other people from the crew join in like Mark the camera guy that got hit on by the nun or Slim Lim. I feel like this had a LOT of missed opportunity but as the majority of their videos have an insane success rate, I feel like they might come back to this one seeing this mess of a comment section. Fingers crossed and apologies for tacking this essay onto your lonely comment but I didn't want to write my own.
I played it and then played with higher level friends. I had to hide like four times on the school level. I was running and screaming a lot.
It's just like old times, but with more nausea and an even more unsteady camera. This is a really great show. I hope they make another season.

Only major complaint is their PC and editing equipment. Overall I'd love if Watcher put out stuff in 1440p or 4k, but I know it's a lot more editing-intensive for a relatively small CZcams company, but the stuttery-ness of the gameplay after recording has been a bit rough in previous episodes.
This is a multiplayer game where you help each other to get evidence and try not to die. You try to find the ghost spawn point with the equipments. This game actually has a point and can be really fun
As someone who’s dropped 100+ hours into this game and am level 300+, this video drove me fuckin’ nuts. 😂 There’s so much more that they’re missing out on or just completely breezing past. Please play this again in season 2!! Maybe watch some other CZcamsrs play it to get an idea of how the mechanics interact.
*And multiplayer, it's a MASSIVE game changer. If they could play from home and maybe get some of the crew in as well if could be a blast. They could recreate the ghost files too where they could have Mark(the cameraman who got hit on by the nun) follow them in game and just be a silent cameraman in game as well just for the goofs as well as other angles for footage. It would be nice though if they put some care into learning the game though as I truly love the game.
I could never play this solo. Multi-player is how to play it. All they need is one person who knows what they're doing to help guide them! Surely they know someone who would happily help!

Yeah I think what most of us were imagining when we were begging for you to play this game was that it would be you both playing multiplayer and investigating different rooms with the proximity chat like we've seen others do here on CZcams. I was envisioning you guys doing what you do in ghost files but virtually! I don't really watch anyone play this game solo as I feel it's definitely a team game. A little disappointed but still great to see them try it out.

I hate being that guy that’s like “you gotta play a game correctly!” But this game is so so much fun when you have at least some idea of what you’re supposed to be doing. Even just having someone else along that can guide you through multiplayer is enough to let you fuck around with the ghosts and have a good time, and it really is a little disappointing that you guys weren’t getting all of the interactions you could have because you weren’t going into it with the knowledge of how it works. Still love everything you guys do on this channel but I don’t want people to get scared away from this game because you guys didn’t enjoy it, i think it deserves a redo with someone who can guide you through it a bit ❤
Honestly I don't play the game, not a fan of it, but with a lot of other games I play, it's more fun for me when I don't play by the rules. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@Sal_000 Unless you are cheating (modifying the game), you are playing the game by the rules (a game is a bunch of code, it's literally just a giant list of rules you actually can't break without modifying the game in some way). Even with your stupid "I don't play games by the rules" thing, you still need to know the fundamentals of any game to actually do anything, especially do much without following the intended path, and they don't.
This or they could just play the tutorial in general.

@@Nekochan456 Their mic was on, the spirit box was responding (or at least giving the X that it's not responding) and that's why they really never saw the ghost, or got many events, cause they kept yelling it's name from the moment they entered. The ghost started pissed off.

Yeah, his brain is wired a certain way so he is exactly that type of person. What? We're now lumping people in who's sick from VR and who isn't?
Motion Sickness is pretty dependent on the game. I could play something like Half-Life Alyx all day without getting sick, but I can't even make it through Half Life 1 non-VR. A major thing is the locomotion method. Smooth walking motion is death, warping is way easier on the brain.
@@CrisSelene What? I’m not lumping anyone in with anyone. I get bad motion sickness and I’ve always thought Ryan and I are pretty similar people, so it was a joke in that aspect.
I get it from just watching it, but I also get it from the back seat of cars too. VR isn't for everyone, and no amount of time can help some people with the issue. It's a design flaw.

It makes me so sad how you guys had such a boring experience playing this! I feel so bad. This was mine and my friends game of choice for a few months straight last year because of how much fun we had and how scary some of the ghosts are. I think playing multiplayer opens you up to more things happening because each person can grab different equipment and you can rotate out the equipment if you get no responses! Each type of ghost only responds to specific equipment. I think because you guys didn’t really understand how to play yet, you weren’t getting results so it wasn’t very fun yet. There’s some really creepy shit that goes down each time if you know what to do. I definitely recommend trying again in the future :)
Edit: I just wanted to clarify that I am not bagging on them. I 100% respect their choices on what they play/how they play things, I was just disappointed that THEY had such a boring experience as I just wanted them to have fun with this. Still a great video, still my favorite YT channel.

I played this game SO MUCH with friends and explored so many rooms, used all kinds of tools, tried to find all the ghosties .... it's so disappointing they were crapping on it sm, Ryan esp. Like just watch how to videos, or play with someone who knows how to play. They did it all wrong lol

@@Pollicina_db nah they were definitely playing it wrong lmao, which isn’t their fault. The game is pretty different to how ghost files works, and has an aim, but i don’t think they knew that. I’m not surprised they found it boring; they thought all you did was go around and yell for a ghost that had low chance of appearing. I truly believe if they had had someone else there who knew the basics of the game they would’ve at least understood why people enjoy it, and maybe would’ve enjoyed it themselves. I’m not even sure they realised the aim was to test the equipment to find out what ghost it is lmao.
@@Pollicina_db There have been surveys by games like farming simulator that show that a large percentage of their playerbase are actually farmers themselves. Kind of a weird and interesting phenomenon where people seem to like to play games that are a simpler more satisfying versions of their actual jobs with video game elements that do this. Just something that's kinda cool.

I was really excited when you guys brought this up last week. Kind of bummer it didn’t play it out that great. Shane should have had Ryan play through the tutorial and you guys should have been playing together. Oh well, hopefully this doesn’t torpedo this show. Really hoping for a season 2.
Okay, I say this as an absolutely huge fan that loves Shane and Ryan dearly... Y'all need to do more research and setup for this segment, lol. Unfortunately, you really can't jump into a game blind and expect to walk away with a half hour of fun footage.
Testing out performance, making sure Ryan and Shane understand the controls and how to actually play, and setting up multiplayer where applicable would go a LONG WAY in making this segment a lot more fun for you guys AND for the viewers. Right now, half of each video is just watching you guys trying to keep things light while struggling to engage with the games because you don't really know what you're doing or why. It's hard to have fun when you're confused and feeling the pressure to make others feel entertained, lol. That's just true for anybody. Have mercy on yourselves and prep more!
Again, I love Ryan, but what I've learned from watching this segment is that he really struggles with spatial awareness in these games, especially when he's experiencing a game for the first time and also trying to carry a conversation. That's not something he should feel bad for, either. I think that's a totally normal reaction to the situation.

@@Sal_000 Gotta be honest, what you said doesn't make any sense in this context. Most horror games are in story format and even if they aren't (like Phasmophobia which truthfully does have a lot of room for fucking around), the consequence is that game ends. You can't not play by the rules if there's no game.
I agree with your sentiment, though as some other commenters pointed out, Ryan accidentally made himself sick in the beginning, and was trying to bounce back from it. Other than that, spot on.
As a phasmo player since the beginning, I really think this needs a redo. Solo play is not so great when you are a newbie. There are some awesome CZcamsrs like @insym and @psycho who do both solo and multiplayer runs.
It’s honestly not a boring game. Multiplayer is the way to go, especially with someone to show how to do things.
None of the evidence was working because they weren’t in the ghost rooms. Interactions happen through subtle things at first like objects being moved or falling on the ground. Also, adding more equipment ups things, too.
Phasmo has an amazing community and there are some nutty things.
I’ve loved Shane and Ryan stuff for a long time, but seriously, look up info or arrange this better. Solo is no go unless if you’re experienced (check any of insym’s challenges and he gets consistent views).

The journal lays out all the basics and there’s a short tutorial that explains it all too. I’m not usually one to complain about someone playing a game “wrong” but it’s really easy to pick up the gist… idk why they kept acting like everything was cryptic and stupid when they clearly didn’t put any effort into learning even the controls. Idk

Guys, please try this again in multiplayer. I wanna see the Ryan trying to seriously find the ghost and just Shane taunting it endlessly. It's like the perfection combination. Ryan could be running from the ghost and Shane just laughing. That is basically how me and my friends play the game. One of us begging for the ghost to show but not kill us and one of us wants the ghost to deliver us to oblivion. The interactions you get can be interesting. 😂

Phasmophobia is definitely better with friends! You get to LARP as if ghosts were real and scream "IT'S HUNTING" while you camp in the truck and give everyone in the map a mild heart attack.
To anyone who hasn’t played phasmo: there is a tutorial that explains the whole point of the game. It is short and very easy to understand. The game is part investigation part horror: the fun part is when you’re trying to get evidence to determine the ghost type/make money, as the ghost gets more active and dangerous the longer you’re in the house. The reason they were getting no activity and then dying is because they didn’t find the ghost room (there’s a room that the ghost spends most of its time in), didn’t try other evidence types (every ghost has three that they’ll interact with, using a spirit box for a ghost that doesn’t have that as evidence does nothing), and wandering around in the dark until their sanity got low, which starts a hunt, then not running and breaking line-of-sight or hiding, which is how you survive hunts.
Basically they did the equivalent of playing minecraft without ever crafting anything and dying the first night. I pinky promise that’s not what the game is about.
Also hey Shane and Ryan if you hate making a video this much please just don’t. Like y’all are funny and I like your videos but the gaming stuff has been pretty obviously miserable. Like it’s clear you both don’t like doing it.
I think a LOT of us are familiar with Phasmo. It seems to be that Ryan and Shane just didn't bother to do any research.
And honestly, I'd be okay with them sunsetting this series. They bitched about the games constantly and were horrible at them. I'd rather they just put their efforts towards things they enjoy.

Until I read your comment at the end, I didn’t understand why I haven’t really enjoyed watching their play throughs. I don’t associate the ghoul boys with gaming at all, so to watch them be half interested in the games makes watching it kinda boring.
You guys are overreacting. Half of the fun of playing a game is figuring it out as you go. I got the idea that Ryan was bored, and it’s no ghost files episode. But they didn’t seem miserable.
As someone who has never played the game before, it’s interesting seeing the learning curve. And you’re not going to be good playing a game for the first time, especially one with controls as clunky as these.
They didn’t actually look at what the point of the game was before playing so it was kinda pointless to play it.
They weren’t checking for evidence and checking it off the list. They weren’t playing multiplayer so they could enjoy the dead/living shenanigans. They didn’t buy any of the gear needed for quests. They just didn’t… play the game.
It’s like they played Apex and didn’t pick up and gun and just ran around in the storm til they died then said “this game is boring”
Anytime someone plays phasmaphobia it just reminds me of mark and Sean and Bob and wade playing it and mark dying in the house screaming in the distance and Sean and Bob just losing it laughing at him 😭😂

Love you guys. But for a season finale…I feel some homework should’ve been done on probably the most requested game. Or at least do the tutorial…definitely a multiplayer game and a bit of a learning curve where a guest that knows the game and you guys play with them would’ve been awesome. Kinda ended the season on a wet fart…
Definitely should have had a veteran player with you to help you out, with 3 person multiplayer. Impossible to experience a boring moment in Phasmo when you know what you're doing (like if you had a thermometer you'd know exactly where the ghost was in only a couple minutes). Hope you guys give it another try, there's a reason the game's popular

It was really funny seeing Ryan and Shane dunk on some of the most popular games out there just “eh.” LMAO. I do think it would be a good idea to bring a second computer next time (if there is one) but seeing the underwhelming reaction to such a highly requested game was absolutely hysterical 😂

I've never played Phasmophobia but I have seen gamers on CZcams play it and it's very different watching them vs Ryan & Shane. The obvious difference that changes the experience is that the gamers I watch play this also played it online with at least two other players to interact with rather than solo entirely or technically solo with friends in the room. I guess a large part of the game is a group feeding off of each other in nerves, anxiety and fear. Also, the game doesn't seem very obvious like other games. Very interesting to watch Shane & Ryan watch because I haven't seen anyone else play it this way.
I played it single player and with people, and it was a much different experience both times for me too. I'm not sure why they encountered almost nothing while they played.

As someone who's not a gamer and gets scared super easily, Phasmo is one of my favorite game i've played for hundreds of hours. It's totally fine if Ryan and Shane never play it again, but if if you're interested in trying it here's a bit more info on how it's played and why it's so much fun:
Basically you choose a map among the (currently) 12 ones available, then your goal is to explore that map to find the room the ghost has elected to stay in. To do that, you can rely on ambient noises, ghost events, temperature etc...
Once you've done that, you try to gather the clues necessary to identify which entity it is. The catch is that you have a sanity bar that depletes as the game goes on, which makes it more and more likely the ghost will hunt. When it does, you have to avoid coming into contact with it at all cost as it will kill you instantly.
You can do that by hiding, escaping its line of sight, or using smudge stick that will disorient it momentarily so you can slip away until the hunt ends.
If you die you turn into a ghost for the rest of this game. That means you can still walk around the map, but the other players won't see you and you can only interact with the map's movable assets. You can still be of use in this state, by observing the entity during a hunt for example.
Now there's different types of clues:
1) THE MAIN ONES
17:49 as you can see there's a list of clues at the top. The tools are included in your material. The ghost will interact with some of them, while others you have to use on the parts of the environment the ghost interacts with. Once you have three of them, you get the entity.
2) UNIQUE CLUES
Some ghost have evidence unique to them. For example; the Ghost will disappear if you take a picture of him, the Obake might change skin during a hunt, the Banshee can screech into the parabolic microphone etc
3) BEHAVIOR
While there can be a lot of variation from game to game, each entity has a tendency to act a certain way. Frequency of interaction, how far they stray from their favorite room, how fast and often they hunt, how fast they are during the hunt etc
Which is part of why playing Phasmo for a while is quite rewarding. Behavior is rarely enough to find what the entity is, but it'll help you narrow it down as you gain experience in the game.
The game mechanics are themselves super simple. You can move around, pick things up, turn them on and off, interact with some part of the environment... and that's kind of it. It's very easy to get the hang of it, even as a non-regular gamer, so you can focus on the fun parts.
There are other stuff like side goals that allow you to get more money and XP, the ability to create a custom game with varying degrees of difficulty, additionnal tools you can buy...
Once you've gotten more comfortable with the game, it's a blast to investigate the entity and elaborate strategies depending on the situation. I'd definitely recommend multi player, so that even if you don't know what you're doing you can have fun watching your friend panic and accidently lock their pal out of a hiding spot, debate which entity you think it is based on what each of you saw, try to coordinate a lowkey suicide mission to complete a side goal and get more of that sweet sweet money...
Some of what I said might be outdated very soon as they're about to release a big update, but in a nutshell it's a really cool game with an active community that keeps evolving, so if you're intrigued give it a try!
Do go through the tutorial though.
After all those IRL investigations on IRL (allegedly) haunted places, this would be like real soldiers playing COD or something.

Pretty disappointed in our Ghoul Boys' play through. They should have done the tutorial and multiplayer. I understand Ryan was probably not feeling great, but he didn't really give it a fair shake.

What I always found impressive and creative about Phasmophobia is that you could identify different types of ghosts by the clues (!) you got, and eventually you developed some basic knowledge about which kind of ghosts leave which clues. So you get the feeling in the game that you can really improve as a ghost hunter, and that it's not just about jumpscares, but tactics as well. The fact that there is always a new type of ghost in new missions also means that it doesn't get boring.
But don't think that Ryan and Shane are not even trying. They are doing their best to make this interesting and beeing positive. I just don't think, that it is a game you play once without a tutorial and alone... And since this episode format has a time limit, they will probably never have the chance to fully experience it. The only thing that really made me sad is that ... Sometimes I felt like Ryan was trying to come across as ironic when it came to how stupid he thinks everything is and how much better his real ghost hunting is, but for me personally it often came across as cynical. I don't know if it was his tone in which he said it, but I may not handle his brand of humor very well.... And I know that's probably my problem, but I just wanted to leave that here because I think that's what the comment section is for. No idea if they even evaluate the comments in any way, but I think constructive criticism is never pointless.
This game is meant to be played in multiplayer mode. Thats what makes it fun, when you have a small group of people maybe 3 or 4.
I'm sorry that this is blunt, but I think it's the best way to get my point across: if you don't know how to play the game or pay attention to the mechanics, then it's going to be a boring game. It's like playing pokemon without paying attention to type advantage or even just ignoring what your pokemon's moves do. You're never gonna make it past like the 3rd gym. Phasmophobia really is much better with friends, so I'll concede that you couldn't have covered that, but still. You can't not run or hide from the ghost, not notice when a hunt is happening, and not collect any clues and then turn it around and blame it on the game. This has actually been a bit of a trend in this series: not paying attention to mechanics nor playing long enough to get the handle on them. I get being new to it means you don't know things, but you could get like 80% of the information just by paying a little more attention or playing longer, or even just experimenting

Tip for helping with VR motion sickness: typically what gets to people is your peripheral vision, so a lot of VR games have a setting you can toggle that narrows your field of view while you’re moving. It helps a ton :)

I play Phasmophobia with my friends almost every week and we always have a blast. I suggest play in Multiplayer mode with someone who is experienced in playing for guidance. But only if you boys are up for it! Thanks for playing this and we're hopefully there will be another season of Survival Mode!

They need to try this again, but isolated in separate rooms on desktops, only able to hear each other in game. That’s the best way to play.
So they decided to play a multiplayer game solo and played large maps, having absolutely no idea what they were doing along the way (because they never bothered to learn). Of course they weren't going to have a great experience. I also love that Ryan's go-to move is to shit on anything that he doesn't understand/isn't good at.
This was some low-quality effort. I can't believe this train wreck was the season finale.
I loved this whole series. Hopefully you guys keep it up for a season 2. Shane’s “maybe we’re getting the hang of this,” with actual joy gives me hope you guys will try this again. Ooh! You guys should try that Bigfoot one. I imagine a lot of sadistic pleasure in terror for that one.
Ryan and Shane should try out Demonologist. It’s similar to phasmo in some ways, but the jumpscares and the ability to exorcise the ghost are really fun

I like the voice recognition aspect of demonoligst, I like to scare my friend when we first played by saying magna at the painting 😅
The reason you're not having fun is you need to play in a dark room and in multiplayer with friends. Everyone should be on seperate computers with only the game audio to communicate. It's not that the game is bad or boring, you're just not playing it correctly. The thrill is all collectively gathering evidence and solving it before the ghost kills off your entire group, then using the money from your successes to get even better items.

I felt bad for Ryan when he was trying not to vomit when he was in VR :( Good call on switching to the PC. I think you guys need to upgrade your gaming setup and get two computers instead of just sharing one. Love this series to bits, and hope you guys revisit this game in multiplayer.

This game has a ton of amazing mechanics and features that admittedly take a while to learn. The Game Grumps did an awesome video with Insym, a very skilled and popular phasmophobia streamer. It's one of my favorite guest episodes and If you guys decide to revisit this game in the future it would be a blast to watch you learn the ropes from a pro like Insym or Psycho. Loving the gaming content!
A well lit room and a small laptop screen, one of the scariest settings to play a game in 😂 PLEASE guys, you need to play this game in a dark room with each other and learn the controls. Would love to see you guy try again in a better setting.
I think it'd be fun if they did multiplayer with someone they knew who kinda knows Phasmo!! That's been a format I've seen that still makes newbies scared and gives them a chance to explore while also putting them in the situations where they actually have ghost encounters :))

I love you guys. I would have much rather you not played this game than to not take it seriously, play it improperly, and then decide it’s boring. That was kind of unsatisfying to me as someone who was so excited to see you guys play it. Phasmophobia isn’t (IMHO) primarily a horror game - it’s a strategy game. Can you solve the puzzle before your sanity runs out and the ghost kills you? The tools should be used systematically through inductive reasoning to find the ghost room and then survive long enough to identify the entity. Like, don’t use the black light first because it doesn’t leave prints right away etc. There isn’t ghost activity at first because there is a grace period. That’s when you want to try to figure out the ghost room as soon as possible. It’s a puzzle game that isn’t boring when you play it trying to solve the puzzle.

Guys I really like your content , it’s ok not to know everything about the game, but the tutorial is simple. You could have played multiplayer and join other ppl to investigate. This is an indie game and the developers are awesome. It deserved more. Because this is not even close to how the game is supposed to be played. It’s actually pretty friendly for beginners. I got the hang of it after like a week of casual playing. I hope nobody gets discouraged to try this game out, phasmophobia is inspiring all ghost hunting games. Mad respect to the dev team.

@@MgnHeart because I started playing it in professional mode pretty quickly after I started playing. So I would say that’s beginner friendly considering is one of the highest difficulties. Also I don’t think a week is a long time considering I work and don’t play for several hours a day. 🤷🏻♀️

In their defense, you shouldn't have to research a game to enjoy it!! Obviously, it would have been better in multiplayer but if you offer single player, the gamer should also be capable of having fun in that mode too! I really enjoyed the vid and now we know what behind the scenes of ghost hunting is for you guys.
