- Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video we are trying out my favorite challenge: the No Evidence challenge! And we're going to do that with every tier in the game to test how No Evidence changes with each set of items. ENJOY!

I correct this in the video as well but I want to make sure there is no confusion:
The t3 crucifix DOES NOT have 150% bonus range vs Demons. It simply has a 50% increased range of the 5m large range, thus making it 7.5m. I misunderstood the patch notes! So the tier 1 has 3 + 1.5 = 4.5m, Tier 2 has 4 + 2 = 6m, and tier 3: 5 + 2.5 = 7.5m
We all make mistakes sometimes cuz we ain't perfect lol

This sounds like when a statistician is telling a potential girlfriend how much bigger his D**k gets when hard. It grows 150% I swear! xD
It is 150% of the original (1.5 times), but it's only 50% extra. Sounds a lot bigger saying it one way compared to another and is easily confused for an addition 150%, which would make it 250% of the original.👍

I swear, man. Can't even blame these ghosts. I'd be pissed too, if four random people busted i to my house acting goofy and throwing salt all over my carpet and putting cameras in my bedroom.

Sometimes I feel like the developers watch Insym's videos to check for bugs and whenever he mentions a small bug, theyre aggressively writing it down

I'm new to this game. How is this any different from just marking it in the book? Is he not gathering evidence and just keeping a mental note or is "evidence" something different?
@@tyler3696all ghosts have different evidence that you can find. For example, freezing temps, emf 5, and ghost writing. In the zero evidence challenge, the ghost will never give evidence. The only exception that I know of is the Mimic, which will have ghost orbs. thats why insym doesn't use like half the equipment because it doesn't do anything in the challenge. In no evidence challenge you have to figure out the ghost by it's abilities and hunting characteristics, because evidence is disabled
@@tyler3696 Evidence (what you mark in the book) is gathered with stuff like the spirit box, emf reader, UV Light etc.
When you're doing no evidence runs you still gather "clues" but you are not using the items that give you evidence for the book. So you're essentially looking for the special abilitys if the ghost like early hunts or turning on/of the breaker.

I find the T1 Thermo great because you can just keep it in your hand, go around the house and see in which room it starts going down

i really dont play this game.. but watching insym playing and explaining about this game from the item to the mechanic is so entertainment.. thank you for doing all the work
On proffessional, the Teir 1 thermo is actually OP, since it updates slowly, but without a delay, which means even on cold maps, you can turn the power on, leave it for about 2 minutes, then go in and look for a near immediate noteable decline in temp. I've found the ghost room with it every time without fail within a minute of entering the house. (Though it doesn't likely work on larger maps.)
I think one way photos could be adjusted is that it should first prioritize what has more stars (so for example you don't get scammed off a potential 3-star ghost photo by a 1-star interaction from the corner of your camera)
And if you end up satisfying the conditions for same-stars pictures of different kinds, _then_ it would follow an order of "priority" for what kind of picture it is (Ghost > Cursed Possession > Evidence/Interactions)
i'm just assuming it doesn't work that way at least, because if it actually does... then it looks like it _really_ needs fine-tuning
Insym, you have easily become one of my favorites on CZcams in the recent years. You have a really chill channel(despite it also being crazy XD) and your personality appears to be very friendly. Keep up the good work. :)

Thank you for the content on the new update and how frequent they’ve been Insym. I’m a fulltime student and work about 40 hours a week at work so when the updates release was announced at first I was extremely bummed knowing it would be about a month before I could play it regularly. I’ve been watching your videos while studying and it’s made it much less dull because I get to watch a great and informative video about one of my favorite games.

I would love to see a "tell-all" ghost guide from you. I can never remember any of the info you give for how to tell each ghost without the use of evidence. You give the most detailed information.
There is a video in the channel about all of the ghosts. It is still up to date because they hadn’t changed ghosts at all. There is a new addition that banshee’s dots mode will always roams to the chosen one and there might a little bit salt and candle changes for claiming that the ghost is a wraith because it hadn’t step on salt during hunt etc. The thing is ghost’s are the same, have a look on it😊

I actually like the T1 thermo & UV better than the upgraded versions personally. The thermo especially for finding the ghostroom because it updates in real time
Thats what I love about the Tier 1 walk in look at it and move the T2 and T3 you have to sit there and hold the Button and wait for it
Wouldn’t a new ghost that either sped up or slowed down on stairs be cool. It would force players into weird situations. Like tangle wood and edgefield since the only stairs are to and from the basement. Maybe even make a special ability only on the Parabolic that says “behind you.” When your standing on it. And if you get scared and accidentally turn around it causes a hunt after 2 seconds regardless of sanity. Idk what % ghost. That has a higher chance to be found on lower levels of buildings.
It would make using parabolic and the basement more of a common thing.

I actually preffer walking in darkness and once i forgot flashlight so i was lighting my path by taking photos because ghost was constantly fucking up the breaker, like every single minute, if not even more often

You should play a big map, with tier three items so you can use the sound sensors, and the para mic. Also I’m super curious if the para mic increases player voices
Speaking of teleporting-type ghosts, I was playing on insanity and I had this Banshee. Oh my god, I couldn't identify the ghost room because it was roaming to my location so often... It's crazy how often they use their roam ability (also kinda awesome in a somewhat annoying kind of way).
Awesome video. ive thought of a challenge with the new update. its like a randomizer
with the tiers, and being able to pick which tier you want. you can do this,
use a randomizer to randomly pick a certain amount of items (id say 2), to be a tier 3. then do another one for tier 2, not being ones already picked, (maybe 4). and then do another one for tier 1. (5-6) the rest of the items are not used.
and because you are so good, you could do this on a hard or insane difficutly.
you can change the numbers how you like. but the real challenge is using the different tiers to find the ghost. maybe you wont get a flashlight. or maybe you wont get an emf, or crucifix.
if the numbers dont add up, i think there should be at least 4 items not allowed to be used.
My guess is that there is old maps with old prefabs, that have different collider models to consider a good photo. On new maps and some fixed maps there is normal sinks that work well

Honestly think the tier 1 thermo is better than tier 2 or 3 at least when I last used it because it immediately changed direction if the room was getting warmer or colder, made finding the ghost room feel almost like prepatch old thermo where you just had to get 13 or below to find the ghost room

They posted it. The comment just says the patch notes were vague, and it turns out that "50% more each upgrade" doesn't mean accumulative, it means 50% more based on the tier's natural range.
Yurei also can interact with the main door, learned that one at campground

I have a duo, difficult challenge: "keep talking"
- All items allowed.
- mode: professional
- must be a medium-sized map.
Description/ how to play:
You must be completely blindfolded and are only allowed to use audio. A friend in a discord call will be your eyes and judgment, they will direct you around the house and find evidence.
Since we all know you're very experienced, you may use your memory to direct yourself places :>
Photo randomizer
You can play in 2 ways
Either do it tier by tier or randomize the tier too, so you roll twice, first the item, then the tier.

How to make Insym go insane :
Tier 3 Motion Sensor > Any kind of ghost
So for the voodoo doll thing, ive had similar experiences with other cursed items where the ghost just finished a hunt and then i use a cursed object to try to trigger a hunt but no hunt occurs, maybe the hunt cooldown is being applied to cursed hunts as well atm but its inconsistent.
Isn't it a good idea to use the tier 3 pills when you trap the ghost with the monkey paw so you can avoid the hunt easier?

My friend has tested this 4 times and gotten it right (on no evidence and without physically seeing the ghost) that there’s a misstep when the obake changes and it’s pretty easy to tell obake without seeing it
I would love to see the Paranormal Pi challenge again.
Watching this video 7 months later: The tier 3 crucifix has a longer range than the candle. Thus making the tier 3 crucifix not suited for Onryo tests. I think Insym said this in later videos.

today i was playing maple... i'd been blinded and deafened by the wish for knowledge and we'd used all the smudges already. but we still had adrenaline shots so i looped the ghost around the campfire and when i felt i needed to "smudge" i just took the adrenaline and ran away. and then i died in the next hunt lmao

Photo randomizer can be good since the photo system changed
i hate the night vision because so much of what i do relies on color recognition, like looking for bone i just look for that familiar bone-color... same for cursed possessions and also using electronics like the lights on spirit box etc etc... i hate the night vision but i love the tier 2 headcam because its a built in flashlight and can carry 3 items then, just wish u could toggle it like normal flashlight instead of having to hold it
idea - do the old wheel spin video but add another wheel to spin which tier item for each thing
Insym, with the new update out and patched a bit, can you do a ghost "review" video. I been watching all your 0 evidence runs and you go through information so quick I can't understand. Like the airball event, is it just an oni? Are there other ghost events specific ghosts can/can't do? Also the hunt %, what is each ghosts break point to start hunting? I think that would make for a great video for us newer/less experienced members of Phasmo community.
His latest ghost guide should still be relevant as I don't think the devs changed much about the ghosts. Like 1 change they did is Wraiths not interacting with salt (they used to be able to disturb the salt, but don't do footsteps after which was very silly and misleading sometimes), other than that ghosts behavior should still be the same. Like the Oni is unable to do the "air ball" ghost event, so if you see it you can immediately risk out Oni. Shades are much more likely to appear as a shadow and much less likely to appear as a full model in their ghost events. Mares are much more likely to blow out the lights in the room with their ghost event. That's about it really.
The Crucifix distance for demon is 50% more than each tier’s radius, so tier 3 being 5 meter radius is 7.5 against demon

i think the phatoms were bugged yesterday because when i took a picture i got a 3 star photo and it was still doing a ghost event. when i clicked what i thought was the right ghost it said it was a phantom even though it wasnt doing phantom things

Insym I have a question. Why aren't you a fan of myling and mare tests. For the former you drop a flashlight or some electronics and wait for it to flicker to check the radius of footsteps sound (in case of a myling they are basically the same, otherwise footstep radius is bigger), and for the latter you just turn the light switch on and off like a complete drug addict for a few minutes to see if the ghost will insta turn it off. I actually started to enjoy mare in no evidence because of the instant "turn off the light" move
That Myling test is pointless when you have the T3 paramic and Mare test is not as reliable as it used to be in the past
