@@xiowraith If you want to get super technical, "demons" are from Greek mythology and are minor divinities/spirits that encompass everything from guardian spirits, ghosts/ancestors, and forces of nature. They could be benevolent, malevolent, or just plain ambivalent. Honestly they've always reminded me a bit of kami in Shintoism. When the Bible was translated through Greek demon was the word used to describe the malevolent entities (Shedim) in the Bible which has kind of permanently sullied the word demon in English
The only place I've seen the traditional version of demon used these days is in the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona games, where its used to refer to all the gods, spirits, and various other mythological creatures and historical figures that appear in those games

I noticed this a lot when i see comments in horror games and movies that are scarier because it seems realistic. But for people who actually believe in the supernatural, its not that scary because its a game and wont get them. Jumpscares and surprise elements sure will indeed give them the temporary fear but they just brush it away. And whats even more hilarious to them are skeptic people who think some realistic movies about dark magic are really scary because they are already living in that reality. The reality they believe in those supernatural thing is scarier for them, thats why they're not scared of games or movies. While skeptics believe the supernatural things aren't real since they've never experienced it except through the medias. I'm not going to discuss nor argue about the existence because in the end it's up to the persons belief to accept or not.

I love how the EVP in this game are 1,000x more clear than the ones they hear in Ghost Files (they're not just noises and fragments of words jammed together), but Ryan can't understand these ones.
Well in defense of EVP's(which I absolutely hate), they can clean up the audio and relisten to it over and over again.

Demonic Entity a.k.a. Astral Entity (from the Lower Astral). Similar to a ghost but has two types, both evil. One type is a non-physical consciousness, which could have previously been a ghost/human soul but turned so dark and spent so much time there that it became a demon. The 2nd type is a borderline physical/nonphysical being that is a reptilian that can pop in and out of physical reality. Usually these pretend to be children or look like they are wearing black robes. Although I am not referring to the video game, just in reality.

You guys might like The Past Within. Its a creepy vibe 2 person game. You dont look at eachothers screen, but cooperatively solve puzzles. Less jump scarey, but I think you two solving these puzzles would be a great watch. Excited for the new season!

This is just glorious (no ad pun intended). They compared Phasmo and Demonologist. Personally I think the game mechanics of Phasmo are much better, but the atmosphere of Demonologist maps is way better.
Also, if they’re going to replay Phasmo with Multiplayer, they should reach out to one of the big streamers like Insym or Psycho, or one of the Devs that is active in the streaming community like CJ or Lav to play with. They can really give them a crash course and get them on track.
