Awww heck yea!! 🤣 This is so awesome to watch back! It felt pretty great to do it but it's even more fun to watch it! 😁 Thank you Joel!
Construct3D's printers look great and the fact that everything is open source is a bonus.
Construct3D dude nailed it
Man I was so nervous for this I've been waiting all week to see how it came out . Luckily it came out better than I was thinking. Massive thanks to Joel and the team for having us on.
Cool to see 3dprintbunny her string stuff is really cool
Thanks Joel, so many awesome people doing awesome things! HIGH FIVE
Awesome! It was so fun watching these videos being filmed at SMRRF! 😂 well done Joel! High five! Hope to see you next year :)
There was so much going on that this is kinda how I felt the whole show. Glad I got a chance to get a crisp high five from you though!
Those 60 seconds go past so quickly! SMRRF was fantastic, cant wait for next year 🥰
Great video Joel, I was there when Wekster was being recorded for the 60 seconds. I really like these videos!
Shane used a month worth of energy in 60 seconds. Awesome makers and groups!
Joel showing up must cause complete havok LOL.
The Mario Kart starting sound is superb!
Gives me such good memories! Yay! 😊
Fantastic video ❤thank you
Love 60 seconds!
This was not stressful at all... Go! 60, 59, 10, done!
was a bit stressful, but the fun outweighed it.
It is Interesting but also a bit stressfull to process all the Stuff in 60 Seconds. I am not sure if i can do it in 60 secons so spontaneously give all the intresting Informations. But on the other hand, if i in presentation mode, everything can happened. My respect to all the 60 Seconds people and there great stuff!
These are always so fun
Glad to get the cliff notes.
I went full brain fart and managed to forget about KRAKEN and EDDY. Next time let's do it on Saturday instead of Sunday Joel...the post Saturday night event brain is sluggish at best ;)
Great video, but man… I was anxious the whole time. 😂 Well worth it though to see some of the variety at SMRRF
That a1 video was gone in 60 seconds after I started it..
Massive thanks to everyone who turn up and made it such an excellent event. Here's to 2024
Excellent, would liked to have been there 🙂
Saw you at SMRRF, but didn't say hi as I didn't want to disturb you! haha
I want one of those Millennium Machines Milo.. probably gonna be too expensive though
Self sourced build is about 1000 to 1500 pounds , regional differences in pricing may vary but we've had similar figures from people in the states, Canada and Germany. Hi by the way I'm the guy in the video
I thought that second guy was going to be Bill Doran.
I only made it to Wekster so far. You really stressed him out. LOL Poor guy. He should practice a 60 second talk for the next time. He is so skilled, but was clearly not ready for that.
I do enjoy hearing about what each person is up to, and would really prefer more than just 60 seconds. Maybe some times you can do an extended time video for people that have a lot to show. High-5!
Go back and give wekster more time 😭
I want to go to one sometime.
Good job!! Anyone have a link for the castle?
If you click 'show more' under the title, you will get a list of links, so find the link to Polymaker. Should be able to find it there, is my guess.
@@David-yo5ws tried that, nothing there. Thanks
SOUTH AFRICAN ACCENT 💪💪💪🇿🇦
Joel, can I speak with you about a Cartesian 3D printer design that is radically different, it has way less parts and solves the backlash issue and it only has one motor and the printing is done inside of the motor.
I guarantee to you that you have never seen anything even remotely close to it in your entire life.
Looking forward to see this! I'm intrigued!
@@yvan2563 thanks, there is one correction, their is 3 separate motors but they are stacked in the same space in the same axis, for visual reference think of 3 hula-hoop's sitting on one peg in a store. And all the magnets and coils would be along the perimeter. The motors housing becomes like a cover used for temperature control. And the Z height isn't "set in stone", just stack more Z rings on top of each other.
Oh by the way you already know this is high torque. And there are NO rods of any kind, guided/sliding or screw rod, and NO belts.
And the bigger I go with the build volume (motor diameter) the easier it is to achieve sub micron precision! ... If you wanted precision like that.
I have thought of a setup that is multi-purpose.
And this printer could do laser lithography.
