    Look its very simple Italian designed or everyone else!!! I would choose a Duke everytime, for design, class and sheer beauty. There's no comparison. Ducati forever...all the Italian bikes are superb they always have been and always will be. Italians know its not just about the power and specs, it's about innovation and style. The engine integral to the structure is perfect design. Incorporating the engine as the middle part of the frame genius. Well done Ducati, I adore you. Lol...engineering at its best. ROCK on xx

    Definitely the Streetfighter for me especially as the H2 is not a full fat version of the sportsbike engine, which is crazy. Oddly the new streetfighter is not much faster than my old 848 streetfighter which I had up to over 170mph at Bruntingthorpe indicated by my SatNav.

      My local Duc dealer (which was until very recently the Australian importer) gave me some costing for services on a P_V4S, and with the extended service intervals it was about on par with the service costs on my s1000r, which I do not find frightening. • @brianglendenning1632
      @brianglendenning1632 Před 4 lety +4

      I agree. The Duc Streetfighter and MVA 1000 Brutale have lifted the bar on both aesthetics, performance and electronics package so the Aprilla Tuono and BMW S1000R (which I own, great after nearly 29,000km but it is a great time to be upgrading :-)) now look a bit stodgy and seem dated. The new s1000rr is, in the flesh, as good looking as the V4S and comparable performance and electronics, so the new R has a good base but personally I would hope they have a retro version with RNineT elements. Aprilia has a bit more work IMHO.

      @@stefanotansini8024 Nope, I did not forget it. Did not mention it, because 1) there's no full system that it can increase its HP, 2) dry it is 6 kilos heavier than the SF V4 S, and 3) it lacks a bit on the aerodynamics, because of its engine. Usually an in-line type engine is wider than a V type engine, making a big part of the bike wider as well.

      Do you think 6kg more on a bike with 208bhp lack on power? And an in line 4 is that much wider to compromise the aereodinamic of the bike?.....if was a 6 cilinder i would agree.....no doubt that this Ducati is a pice of an enjeniering and hell of bike for sure, but i think as a design mv is another story, is more accurate in everything,( start for example with the fluid containers )

      @@stefanotansini8024 Everything matters. It would be cool tho to see this Brutale 1000 in a Drag race with the SF V4. If you crash that Brutale, it would take you a fortune to repair in comparison with the SF V4, also it costs as twice as the SF V4's Standard.

    This might sound crazy but if the engine is the frame...what if you blow the engine would the bike fall apart?? That would really be a bad day hmm??

    All my bikes must be red. So I could have a Ducati and never a Kawasaki. I just don't have £17K and more importantly the abilty and balls to ride it ! I haven't even thought about insurance, as a newbie a 96BHP speed twin is a challenge to insure.
    Looks lovelly, although I think the faired Panigales look prettier. I do wonder who would want a 200 BHP naked, surely a 200 BHP bike needs a fairing. 70 MPH is windy enough for me on a naked.
