Ride by wire, CC/TC - not so much ride modes. Tubeless wheels (option). CC and Tubeless is literally the only gripe a lot of owners have, and introducing these 2 will exponentially increase sales. Although i have become proficient in tube maintenance, it is nice to have the option of having tubeless wheels for road adv touring, even mile off road.

To all you t7 fanboys. Despite lacking modern electronics this is not simple bike. Its still complex, modern twin cylinder bike that need fully equipped garage for repairs. Lack of modern electronics isn't what makes bikes reliable. And most importantly stuff thatll make u stranded is almost always mechanical, yet this idiocracy is constantly repeated. Uve seen bike grounded because of abs or fucking traction control or cruise control? No! Its fucking fuel pumps, broken clutch cables, dent wheels, voltage regulator, leaking oil, carbs issues, etc... So stop making pro out of con. Its inferior, obsolete bike with shitty suspension for modern price. Theres really no advantage over 30 fucking years old africa twin other than f injection and abs. If i want old school bike ill take old AT and keep 6k€ for travels thank you verh much. T7 the worst adv bike released in last 30 years imo. If it costed 7k euro new thatd be another story

To me this looks just like a World raid. They probably update the headlight (like with the dash), new styling for the fairings. Could be 2025 model. Doubt that this is the new Tenere with different technique „under the hood“.

Again no one is waiting with bated breath for any product that isn't on the showroom floor so whatever is going on all mfg'ers of two wheels rear wheel drive need to get their product to their Dealerships...and start expanding Dealership size to something far larger as well #footprint as there has been just *WAY* too much money and effort spent on reinventing the wheel on these items and the money is quite honestly no longer being spent because the shops suck here in the USA. Things are far better than they used to be but by way of specific example Yamaha needs to emphasize opening up "flagship Stores" to support their products and all the extras as pure play BEV is still running circles around this entire Industry and prices for those continue to keep falling from already rock bottom levels.

Plenty of off road Power but 10 more Horse Wouldn't hurt ,The Stock seat needs to be Wider like a 78 DT 400 much more comfortable especially for the Street!

Older autos had cruise control and a throttle cable. Nothing novel here that could require reinventing the wheel. My requests to put me off my ‘21 T7 Lower the fuel tank to lower the center of gravity This retains most of the motorcycle without a major redesign A base model with better quality suspension for better off roading at speed.

Choosing a T7 is really easy in Canada. Only one variant available. I don't know why North America never gets the full line up.

Yamaha, all this bike needs to be "fresh:" Update fairings, lights (signals and tail). Make the seat more comfortable. Give better brakes and suspension. Give the engine another 6-8 horsepower. Give it cruise control (not throttle by wire, but a cruise control servo tugging a cable). OTHERWISE LEAVE IT ALONE!

Oh and better suspension compliance on small bumps. No more electronics

They're going after Suzuki and Honda. They will increase the displacement to a 750cc, add RBW for ride modes and traction controls, the world raid fuel tank. It will reach 80 or so HP. Hopefully they put better suspension or at least spring rate... And it'll sell for an extra $1,000

The Norton has the advantage of being a collectable bike, and twenty years from now will command a high price. The Triumph, not so much. I agree with many of the other commentators, the Thruxton should have been the Triumph to be compared with.

The T7 has been relying heavily upon its basic design, but nowadays the younger generation like their tech and this is where it lags behind. The power is on the low side also. BMW F900GSA for me🎉

From the comments, it does not seem the 1290 SAS is all that reliable? In the US their warranty only covers the crank case, frame, and swing arm but nothing else. Is it worth the risk to buy?
