He solved it a different way than when it started! You can see when he solves it the level before the single ball on top is the 4 pieces that make a square, but when he's moving it around before he takes it apart you can see the top ball is attached to 3 balls in the level below it! So there is your answer chris there is multiple solutions
I solved this once - very long ago - but I'm sure I solved it by having the long 4-ball straight piece from top to bottom diagonally. So it started from the corner at the bottom and it stood against the rest of the pieces basically to complete the pyramid at the end. Or maybe it was a similar puzzle. It was like 17 years ago.
Well the entire pyramid can be rotated like 4 ways and still be solved for one

This was actually one of the first puzzles i ever got, i solved it differently, i used the 4long piece as a ridge from the bottom to the top
Same I had a mini to go one of these things. In a black container now I wanna go look around and see if I still have it.

That is because this puzzle has four combination to solve.
Just rotate the sides of the pyramid then you'll get a different solution for each side.

I used to do puzzles like this all the time with my aunt who passed away earlier this year. Her husband is a bitter old man and sold everything of hers before anyone had a chance to get a keepsake and all of the puzzles we did together are gone. But watching these kinda cheers me up and I think I might get back into it again, maybe it can be something my son and i can do together. I also love your tattoos.

The only way that situation would be legal is if your aunt didn't have a Will written and signed by her, shame. Sorry to hear about that, if there was any evidence at all stating she didn't want her stuff to go to her husband you could have used that as leverage in court but I guess what's done is done

No matter how much you put the peices together, you will only end up with four different combination... do you concur

@@donquixotedoflamingo9037 You can use the pieces in different formations and beside that there would be 8 different solutions for the same constellation not 4. Because you can also rotate the pyramid upside down.
Simon Hofmann no u can’t u dummy it’s a square based pyramid so the base can ONLY be a square not a triangle, the other sides r triangles so no ur wrong

Dude I've been subscribed to you since you came out with 50k, but thats a long time ago. Man I love you to the moon and back, you were the one to get me into magic and the world of cardistry. I was at a point in my life where I couldn't do anything due to a heart disease that demobilized me. I couldn't have gotten enough of you. But unfortunately magic wasn't my type of thing. It never fully clicked with me and thats when I joined the cardistry community, but still held magic close to my heart. I just wanted to say that your magic and your time back then was incredible to me and you kept some optimism in my life. Luckily I'am back to how I was and i'am a very big advocate of what you still do here because you haven't changed one bit and thats a remarkable thing. Just shows the type of person you are. Im currently a sophomore in high school but still a little kid in my heart. just wanted to give a long overdue thanks to you and what you did for me even though you didn't even know I existed. I know the odds of you seeing this comment is very slim but it was something I felt I had the need to say. Thanks again Ramsay, you have no idea how much you have done for me.

I remember playing this at school. We had mini versions of this and you had different lvls too, I loved this! And after a while I managed to remember by heart how to make the pyramid.

This is the game I used to play when I'm 6. But this one is definitely huger and much simpler on its appearance. The one I had also had much more combinations and colors. It's great to see this on your channel! It really makes me want to play the toy again.
Watching you put this puzzle together is much more satisfying than watching Mr Puzzle. He just shows how it's done while I, as a member of your audience, struggle along with you.

Max Diamond theres an old puzzle called kanoodle which is a portable version. Its pocket sized half the price and more fun.

There is something that is called IQ Puzzler by Smart Games. There you also have the opportunity to build a pyramid out of different shaped pieces, but you also have a flat kind of ,,Mat‘‘ where ypu have to put in all the pieces. I have it now for about 3 years amd I can‘t stop doing it!
Btw it‘s not even expensive and it‘s about as long as my hand, so not that big.

The piece that is 4 long, does npt have to lay on the bottomlayer, it could be from a bottom corner and to the top

@@aclay300 that does not mwan anything, there are probablt 10.'s or 100's of ways to solve this. I had this in mineature as a little kid,, so i have quite alot of experience with this type of puzzle
there are SOOOOOO many answers to this puzzle. I had one when i was younger. it had a little booklet that provided levelled start points in the front (and answers in the back). my brother and i worked at is for ages and managed to complete all the different combos the puzzle's booklet had without checking for the answers. not one combo was the same. I remember having so much fun with things like that, and eventually we had mastered how to put it together.... Give me one of them things now... i probably wouldn't be able to do it though...it's been so long

@@Kris-bl8zp Kris343 yes there is a lot of ways because i paid attention when breaking it and that piece he messed with for a little bit around 10:23 was the top peice but also ive had the same one since 2015 and im still finding need ways to use it

I had a puzzle like this when I was a kid. I completely forgot about it, but seeing your video brought it all back. I got it in the gift shop of the cosmosphere museum. It wasn't wood, but made of white plastic. It was possible to create other combinations and the pyramid. Oh man, that thing was fun.
