Chris Ramsay: when in doubt, spin.
Me in an exam: *starts spinning*
Me: Spins my entire body, as I doubt my existence
Chris Ramsay: When in doubt spin.
Me: how about I spin all existence.
Just imagine putting this lock on someone's locker... that would be fun
Or better yet, imagine putting this lock on your ex's locker - that would be a good bit of revenge!
You are the definition of the devil
That would be a waste of money
Ideas ideas...
I would put it on my sisters phone or on her mouth so she would shut the hell up but I can't do that so I think my olny choice is to tape her mouth with flex tape or tape her phone all the way so she can't do anything
Weird how the lock changed states after he spoke his number. That's ingenious engineering.
I would use the 249 as a code for the brass pin as a vault type lock by spinning it 2, 4 and then 9 times to the notches.
Yeah that was my thought as well. Why even mention "find your number" if it wouldn't mean anything at all?
Exactly Fredo Sinsemilla... great minds think alike :).
Thought the same thing
Yep
Fredo Sinsemilla to throw you off
that's why it's called "the revenge puzzle". It takes twice the effort to gather it up all togheter than opening it
I love the psychology behind the design of these puzzles. You could clearly see this one was so hard that you didn't get so much satisfaction from the solve. It would be facinatimg to study the work versus reward curves for a number of these puzzles.
I found you in my recommended and now I’m *addicted* lmfaoo

Pkrussl agent get the fuck out 😂
Nice. Already ordered one for my bike!
Der Kommentator genius!
That’s not going anywhere
Der Kommentator 'Nasa wants to know your location'.
have hn spinning it locked on the bike!
I’d lock to see more puzzle videos like this
I binge watch tf outta these videos and it’s relaxing asf. Someone tell me Why?...😂
Dude I’ve been doing the same thing idk why😂
Same here, about the last three to four weeks, every night!!
same-zees
Cheers my friends they have me too... I'm glad the company is good
I’ve come to the conclusion it’s a mixture of the music, the process, and the satisfaction of a solution.... I think.....
8:10 at this moment I would use the numbers on the back and use them like a locker on The gold thing because it reminds me of a locker thing.
JaLynn Biddy exactly what I was thinking
Kept waiting for him to try that. Cant just be a funny thing those numbers are there for a reason. Otherwise why would they have you find them so easily?
“What would you do right now” 6:00
I’d put the lock back in the frame to see what happens
npigwnl n
My gosh. Ive been watching videos for 3hrs now. Hahaha i like the part when it gets solved tho. Cheers chris haha
wow these are so relaxing to watch. i might get addicted.
9:36 Guessing it's like a combination lock, and that the engraved number unlocks it, based on the notches.
This is what I was thinking. I kept telling him out loud to look at the number again.
8:34 that's my thought too. Fingers crossed.
yup
3:27 It's an orientation mechanic. When you turn it to read the numbers properly the pins set -- he thought it was the spinning.
Yeah i was like loook at the fucking numbers
I did some digging online and someone asked another person that had solved it about the bearing being the wandering and the solver said "...i wouldn't say so, no..."
That has been proven inaccurate by the creator of the puzzle himself. The traveling bearing is the wanderer.
I really enjoy your videos I've been watching them for a few months now and my boyfriend really enjoys your magic/card tricks I hope you keep making videos for a long time and I'm excited to keep catching up on your older videos and see all the puzzles you've solved. Much love❤️
6:02 I would try to reverse thread the little screw into parts and try to push/pull something out
I'm pretty sure this is like the previous puzzle, it just gave you a decoy but it's still not completely solved. I mean, part of the instructions were to "replace the wanderer", and you haven't done that yet
Amaiar unless the spring is the wanderer
You didn't use the number. Something is missing.
Indeed, I really think you missed something 🤔
I am pretty sure the number was for notch positions to remove the brass key. He just kinda stumbled through it tho. 3 numbers 3 points
The number really is just a serial number, it's different on every one of them. But another person who's solved it did in fact say that the little bearing wasn't actually the wanderer so I do think he missed something.
My thoughts are not that you had to do this blind but that the numbers were like that of a combination lock that gave you exact rotations for the key to successfully remove it.
2 left 4 right 9 left again..
The 2 4 9 is your number as this puzzle has unique path that you must follow
My compliments for pushing through, even if the reassembling is not that much fun. It takes quite some discipline to go all the way back!
Satisficing to watch Ramsey solve puzzle. But more satisfying to watch more than 2 hours at the watch.
time stamp 6:47 maybe you have to align the golden rod with the numbers by turning it like a safe lock.
I had the same lock but it had a different number
This might work if there are 9 notches on the brass pin and there was an identifying mark for notch one with instructions on clockwise incremental increase or counter-clockwise. Without an identifying mark it wouldn't be possible to know where to start and which way to turn. It is unlikely this is the case since I couldn't seem to find any identifying marks designating an initial pin. If anything it would be used in a way to guide you on how to get the wandering pin out of the lock but this just doesn't seem to be the case in this lock. I may be missing something without being able to hold the lock in my hand.
There is no need for notches if the numbers correspond to clock positions, So this might require you to dial the pin in at the 2 o'clock position, then the 4, then the 9 o'clock spots. Then again that might be the angle of the groove inside where a ball or a rod slides when the whole puzzle is held at those clock angles...?
Exactly what I thought
6:07 I would put the lock back in the bigger frame and try to pin in the open slot
I just randomly found you today. This morning. 30 min ago. I’m bingeing already. You’re AMAZEEEEE. Totes had to sub instantly. You’re incredible !
You actually turned me on to puzzles like this and I appreciate it lol. Awesome new hobby!
6:06 I would check that paper again, and try spinning in rotations of the order or sequence following the number you discovered.. So it's 249 so if turn it 2 times clockwise, 4 times counter clockwise, and 9 times clockwise.. and if that didn't work I'd try a few things regarding the numbers and turns probably.
Heather Huber you like these vids too, i recognized your name from sas vids lol
Maybe, but it would require some spectacular tolerances to open from centrifugal forces spinning it in reverse directions for X amount of times in that specific order.
A screw mechanism could do it but its fairly difficult to rely on threading when theres so many variables at play. Primarily lubrication and having it work over a period of time as a puzzle, and then degredation of the working surfaces depending on composition etc.
I'm pretty sure that "discover" your number is just telling you that you need to remove it from the case
Ahh, that's probably how he was supposed to unlock it. By turning the brass key like that number of times. I don't think he actually solved it then
Using the notches on the brass key I think the number served as a less random way to open it. Think safe combinations, like 2 left, 4 right, 9 left. Of course you don't have a clear zero position so, just guessing here.
6:10- put the lock back in the main box and then use the brass pin you pulled out from the bottom to push something in on the 3rd hole to unlock the shackle all the way, then pull out the brass pin from the top.
The music, him talking about the puzzle, and it’s raining lightly where I am is just a recipe to drift off to sleep.. 😂
Super chill music, relaxing.
6:08 i would give up
Dayne Glover lmao
Call ramsay
Agreed
Lol. Well, paused the video. I would try to put the brass pin in each hole and try to spin it until something changed or... I gave up.
dude even if that were your life's motto it's not a good approach
this is your niche bro keep doing puzzle vids and you'll grow exponentially
flooblet I agree but his magic vids are what got him started and in my opinion they are cooler. The puzzles are awesome tho and I have no idea how he comes up with solutions to solve them.
I agree. I really just started watching his videos because of the puzzles.

Time stamped at 6:05 and honestly I have no clue lol. Maybe try rotating the gold pin like a combo lock. 2, then 4 the other way, and 9. 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
This is a super cool show. Really enjoy your content!
Imagine putting this on one of your friends locker in school lmaooo
Imagine simply cutting the lock off with boltcutters. Wee...
Eep Squared Or hitting it with another lock
Imagine if u have to solve the puzzle and put it back to lock friend's locker.
Great value Bleach that’s why it’s called the revenge lock. To get revenge
@@eep-squared he should send one to Lock Picking loyer to see if he can open it
Nothing gives me more joy than watching you solving puzzles
6:03 "What would you do right now?"
Try putting it back in the casing and use the little pin to put it in the 3rd hole that's not blocked by the 2 things in the casing.
6:05 trying a combo of putting the brass tool in random holes and moving the shackle
Oh my gosh! This constantly changing focus drives me nuts!
Your are one the most educated sneaker head I know on CZcams. I like the fact that you keep your fashion and hype wear low key, and just don’t flex. Good work on your videos, and can’t wait to see future content.
I have a short attention span, but love these videos.
Speeds up video and turns on captions
ahh, yes, genius
It’s 2am, I have work in the morning, and I’m binge watching puzzle videos. Idk what I did to get to this point in life, but I’m neither happy nor mad about it.
Why do I feel like that wasn't the tiny wanderer?
because it wasn't... It's a tiny two pound coin from old london
I think... from the pictures that's what it seems
Nico Levy the coin is used to show the size of the lock, as a reference point
oh gotcha... then I have no clue...
I'm only upset he didn't put the pin from the bottom of the brass key into the hole in the side of the top of it. other than that I think he did all he could.
There is 3 holes and the lock only uses 2. I feel like the lock needed to be placed back into the housing and the pin needed to be placed into the third unused hole.
6:06 first it's not a spin move that makes the brass pop up, it's when you have it oriented so that you can see the number. Then when the center brass pops up, get the tiny "wanderer" pin that you pointed out. Then I would unscrew the bottom bit.
I don't know why but I find your unlock videos so relaxing
I'm pretty sure that the puzzle is still unsolved
Yeah, I agree. There are steps that have not yet been followed.
Definitely.
I actually think the "Replacement" ist just putting it back together. There is written "second part" and it begins with "replace the wanderer, brass key and shackle", then "put the lock back in frame".
Well, you're all wrong. The creator did in fact verify that this was the entire solution.
He only solved half of it, there is still much more inside to see :)
do explain
It's pretty painful to watch him blunder his way through something so simple. Also he's SUPER obsessed with the spinning motion lol
His next step has to do with the holes on the wide face and the pegs on the larger piece, he got the lock undone, but he has yet to use the brass key for finish it completely!
The NessMan9 what should be the indication that he’s done with the puzzle? What should he find inside?
@@freddieperez7567 The wanderer of course
@6:03 I would place the lock back in the frame and use the pin.
15:34, You already found the wanderer. There is a free moving part in the lock. I think that has more to do with the top lock coming off then the orientation of the brass pin
It's called the wanderer because that piece wanders around inside of the puzzle. Maneuvering it around the puzzle all the way to the top is the crux of the solution, so you could say it's wandering, and it's tiny.
Haaa love ur vidz man keeps me relaxed
There are 3 holes, only 2 are used to stuck it into the frame. You also get a piece that you can stuck into a hole... hm... a useless hole and a useless stick. Could that have a meaning??
I had the same idea to.
6:05 I'd put it back in the frame with the pieces removed and try all combinations of that. (I think you have two parts a spring and the brass piece so with nether, with just brass piece, then with just spring.) That's all I got. Maybe spin it in the frame in the previous configurations described.
At 6:07 I would just continue watching your video because you are really freaking good at these puzzles
Didn't it say you should replace the tiny wanderer? This gives me the feeling that you didnt find it yet
Robonator could be that tiny bead thing
Robonator nevermind he just said that in the video
I hope he revisits it
I don’t think he found it either. Reminds me of the lotus one (by the same puzzle maker) where he thought he found the lotus and it was crappy, then realized he wasn’t done. Thought that would happen again. With such high quality puzzles, unlikely that was the wanderer (also pics online show a coin)
Any one here knows what the wanderer is?
Cool lock puzzle. Hey Chris... did you ever figure out all the hidden puzzles from that cryptex mystery puzzle box from theory 11???
6:13 Would look in the outter case, it seems to have a line on the back.
Also, I would keep reading the clues.
6:10- I would try putting the lock back in the frame and put the pin in one of the holes available. The base will take care of two of the holes and your pin will take care of the 3rd, but I could be way off.
THIS GUY-solves the world's hardest puzzles
ME- still can't get this band-aid out of the wrapper and bout to bleed to death
6:00 i would go in to the garage and open the lock with a bolt cutter
I would pick-lock the key hole
their was no key-hole
artemis322 there*
At 8:08 sorry can't stamp it, on mobile, 2-5-9 seems like a lock combo and the top pin having notches immediately made me consider that. Time to continue watching to see if I'm right
Best channel on CZcams!
Imagine this bad boy on your gym locker
Daniel Williams I can barely open my regular lock without being tardy to class..Jesus fuck
Just move to England. Then ya don’t have to worry about a locker. 😁
@@Hexcade I live in England ... I just have to worry about everything else like getting stabbed for looking the wrong direction
Daniel Williams ahh I guess that does happen. I’m from the south east, and our crime is pretty low where I am. Where abouts are you. I do hate our country but it does have its benefits.
@@Hexcade Manchester
I just wanted to scream at the screen... 2,4,9!!!!!!!2 rotations then 4 rotations, then 9 rotations, he says look at everything and ignores step 1, then he says there are stages to the brass key and he had to solve them blindly!!!! 2,4,9!!!!! ahhhhhh!!!!!
Exactly what I thought
I wanttt tooo screammm thattt toooooo erghhh im sooo stressed 😂😂
Exactly, then he looks at the 3 holes on the side and talks about how they couldn't drill inside because it's solid, but my first thought is "that probably controls the pins, and the 249 is input using those by the manufacturer".
Chill. Jeez.
he got step one
Seriously things that NEED to share with you.
@8:36 I would be trying the number sequence you found in some way combination with the notches...maybe 2 clicks, 4 clicks, and 9 clicks... like a combination lock
6:04 put it back in the frame and put the pin in the third hole.
Dope vid as usual dude, love to see a new vid upon the channel! Keep up the amazing work and keep doing what you love! #RAMFAM
Alex Bispham ehat
8:49 maybe the numbers 249 mean that you have to either spin clockwise or counter clockwise that many times (2 times clockwise, 4 times counter clockwise, etc.) or move the brass key in certain positions
Or spin it 249 times XD
6:05 try turning the gold life with the peg in...
@6:03 I would put the lock down and go spend some time outside, summer here in Canada is to damn short to waste indoors!
no you wouldnt you watch the video right now 😂
I love final space nice profile pic 😉
Red Luff Sheep Shwah!
Dawn except for the fact that I posted my comment @ 9pm and @6:03 in the video it's is clearly daytime. Nice try though.
Chris L - It _could_ be raining? Or
He _could_ just take the lock outside.
This way when it _really_ pisses him off, he could throw it a whole lot further & not break anything.
Just be sure & yell out, "four". So, that the lock doesn't kill anyone.
There is a risk of someone else finding it, without the "wonderful" instructions. They could get seriously hurt:
What if _they_ attempted to solve the puzzle lock? BUT beat their own head into a wall, due to frustration.
Could start a cycle.
Better stay indoors.
Maybe pad your windows with industrial bubble wrap. Just to be safe...
5:56. Refer to the "Bad Radio" puzzle solution. If that method doesn't work, try it again repeatedly. Maybe some bolt cutters. Solved. You're welcome. Don't even need to watch the rest of the vid. I nailed it
Edit: I was close enough
😂😂😂
Great to hear.. at least you tried!!! 😂😂😂
I am so subbing to you. ✌🏻
You Are The First Guy That Said Something
To whom are you jabbering to???
exactly my thoughts
6:08 put the lock back in the frame, try to use the pin & open the shackle?...
y is this so stressfull to watch but oddly satisfying when he opens the puzzle
That didn't seem completely solved are you sure that's it Chris? The maker could of just press fit three metal plugs where them screws are that doesn't seem right.
I agree I think there was more to be done on the puzzle
sadly that is the whole puzzle i believe. The "wanderer" was put in after to make it so you couldn't solve the puzzle in the frame.
Ducksauce you are completely right
Maybe I missed it, but what was the numbers for?
that was just the serial number chartier
It was obvious when the paper said find your number that it was a combo lock... 249 was his number and he needed to place the spinning thing to those number in sequence to have it raise
Tim, you were already told that you wouldn't need an identifying mark in this case.
Could the first pin that worked automatically = 2?
Its crazy how I had such a different experience with this puzzle. That just shows how good of a design it is. I solved in a completely different way!
How?
As such, his experience was completely different
I would check the back end of the wand to see if it is magnetic. Or work on getting the top brass turny thing up to get that pin out
Make a another video of the Excalibur
Edit you should destroy the Excalibur
The OzekinBros is
The contest:
Did I win? No

Hotel? Trivago!
Knattex that's a mood
Hahahahahahah
you deserve a Nobel peace prize
nice comment bro
I love you. xD
@15:00 .. I would try putting it back into the main body ... the main brass pin can now get lower into the lock, and the two pins in the main body might unlock or unhold the mechanism inside the actual lock
6:02 There's three holes on the lock and only two posts in the frame. I'd try putting the lock back in the frame and trying to fit the hidden post screw into the third. Maybe the posts, when pushed fully through the lock, move a threading into place in the third hole.
7:27 put it back in the base with the bottom piece out maybe then the bottom price will help
6:00 I would piff it at a wall and cry in the corner
The little thing that holds the brass bit in might be pushed in to bring up the shackle so push that while the brass thing is up and the shackle might come up
6:03 I would put the thing you pulled out into one of the three holes on the back and put it back on the thing with the two bars sticking out and see what happens, theirs also the spring to consider
His beard has magic powers I swear
My boy got a tan!
Lachie McFarlane a fake tan
Lord Spiffington III and you know that it’s fake how? lol I’d love to hear the logical answer that you have to share with us
A few videos ago you could see the stains on his hands from not using gloves and if you follow his insta he posts a story of how he did it before going away to Germany, logical enough for ya dude?
your definition of "keyboard warrior" is very loose. apparently asking for a logical answer is being a keyboard warrior? with that logic, i'd be able to come up with the conclusion of you and I are also both keyboard warriors.
Bruh stop fighting yall
6:00 I would assume the spring is, indeed, the "tiny wanderer", in that it was "floating" on the inside of the initial "case", so that would be the first goal completed.
@6:00 I would put the lock back in the larger piece and then try to use the new key on the third hole that isn't being used by the posts.
MAYBE hidden number is a number of how many orientations you need to do!
sais "thats a fun puzzle" 😂
Truth: "im dead inside help me"
6:00 I would spin the gold pen to the number on the lock 249 I think it was so I would go 2 full rotations to the right 4 to the left and then 9 to the right and see if that would do anything.
6:00 put it back in the frame or chuck it at the wall
Hammer time
6:05 I would continue to watch the video
8:42 put the spring on top of the part that you unscrewed from the bottom and put it back on.
Damn dude, you got some patients there!!!
