- Today I'm going to attempt to solve this Difficult level 9 Puzzle box by Wil Strijbos. Named 'First box" as it's his first puzzle box he's created. Very similar in style to the Lotus Puzzle. Enjoy!

as usual, watching you solving puzzles and making tutorials😅
Practicing my magic.
It's my Tuesday 😭
Bonfire and some drinking, probably watch a card trick tutorial to blow some minds 🔥
In my first escape room that I ever did, there was a quote on quote very delicate puzzle box inside and could only open one way. The first thing I did was go to the box and I spun it and it opened and everyone just stared at me...
Same👌👌👌

Mr Puzzle can solve everything. He is our leader, and a great guy too!
Ever thought about live strreaming one of these puzzle solving videos? like trying to solve one live with viewers? Just curious

Chris trying to explain his puzzles:
"This one goes HERE while this one is HERE then HERE lies this cylinder and it is followed by this cylinder HERE and HERE

🤨
I understood! Chris, please try to always explain how the puzzle works. I enjoy that part.
@@leifsvensson-chorin lol no the way that he said it was hilariously confusing...
@@announcedgrubgaming1437 Not the best explanation perhaps, but still appreciated.
Well you can’t explain it much further
Now listen HERE buddy...
You not putting the cap back on your sharpie gave me anxiety 😂

Really like the reverse-engineered schematic method. It ties together what you are thinking and what you are doing more easily for me to understand than just verbally explaining it alone. Sometimes it just looks like you are randomly making "moves" in hope of something happening but the schematic makes those "moves" appear more intentional and practical.
Love the way it’s not just about cracking the puzzle but you thrive on knowing how they work which also gives credit to the maker. Another brilliant video Chris, keep them coming 👌🏻
Chris is getting so good he's solving the puzzle before solving the puzzle
Joshua Rodriguez 😂😂😂
Imagine being a police man having to search his house and his belongings and having to figure out how to take apart all the puzzles
They'd just get bolt cutters and a saw, they don't care about your property lol
“You don’t have to tell me how it’s done” that cracked me up
Uncapped Sharpie low-key killing my soul. Love the schematic though. I would love to see more of that.
No you didn't, you saw a popular comment so you copied it because you have little to no self esteem and you need the thumbs up to help fulfill your pathetic life.
White Supreme holy fuck. ever stopped to think that maybe multiple people wouldn’t like a sharpie stating uncapped like that? get a life asshat
White Supreme there are lots of people who give a hard time to those that have similar comments, such as this sharpie one. So maybe YOU just copied a comment accusing someone of copying and pasting...
Goes two ways buddy...
That first trick was Sick!!!!
How that card rolled in the first few seconds was super duper cool

I know how he did it- 30 likes for a reveal
palmed the 7 with left hand before putting down the deck. simple.
@@charlessokolowski5809 but how did he get the box to slide lol
1:03 Song is called Cornered In The Cold by Fasion
Thanks for this. I'd like it if Chris' editor put song credits in the description.
the intro trick was done by sending the card thru a parallel universe and bring it back thru a mini reverse blackhole in the his other hand you cant trick me!
It kind of looks like a squished TARDIS.
I like it.
Omg I just saw your comment and I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed lol
Doctor who in your area
0:15 while he's pushing the card back in the deck he "grab it" (it s a really hard tecnique used in most card trick) under the deck with the other hand (go frame by frame) u can see at 0:17 his left hand still flexed. Then he distract you pushin the empty cardbox away , and when he shake it, he just releasing the card in his left hand palm. VERY WELL EXECUTED
U're feeling better now by telling everyone that you know, how a DPS works?
But how'd he push the box
yes we all know he palmed the card -_- did you not listen to the part immediately afterward asking to not explain his own trick to him?
The real trick is getting you people to listen to him. He literally said that he didn't need an explanation in the comments.
I love the explosion animation when u set down the puzzle. Its a small detail but so satisfying
Love watching you complete these puzzles, they are so relaxing. Thanks for being active and uploading!
I really enjoy your videos, keep it up chris
Best magic trick was at 4:23 when he completely skipped “3: 20” on the timer!
He must have been swearing while he was looking for his notepad lmao
I really liked how you made the schematics while you were going along with the puzzle. Gives a ton of insight for what is going on, especially on these types of puzzles where as a viewer, we can't really tell. Thanks for striving to keep everyone involved! Play on playa!
The schematic drawing really helped explain what you were thinking. Great idea!
Love your intros... keep doing what you’re doing!
you always make my day even in gloomy and sad days. Thank you!
Hope you get better. 👍🏻
Can’t wait for the V3 playing cards!
Vasu Rashia are you stationed in Michigan ?
Onewheel I don’t know what you mean by me being stationed in Michigan?
I like how these puzzles are really awakening what seems to be a legit interest in the mechanics of design. I know you've always been into how they get made but this is the first time I've seen you kinda nerd out about puzzle design.
The Sleight of hand and the misdirection in that intro trick is absoultely flawless, the way my mind is wired allows me to see through most of those things, so the magic itself is spoiled for me, but it gives me a deeper appreciation for the subtle and fine art of sleight of hand and misdirection.
I just watched a grownup man trying to open a box for 20 mins.

Chris your videos are A+ quality from all aspects...keep up the good work!!
Great sleight Intro, loved it, I love the way you take the cars out, been trying that lately. Great video, awesome B-Rolls, you guys are killing it.Have a great, scorching hot weekend!
Nice solving method! It is the first time I see you doing schematics of a puzzle. You have changed Chris. I look at past puzzles and you trying to solve them by brute force and I like how you are doing them with logic reasoning and methodology. Looking forward to the next ones.
It would be cool if you tried solving like a...virtual puzzle like the room or something. I just wanna see a pro puzzle solver’s thought process when solving something like that.
My guy left the sharpie uncapped 😥😥
Been watching CZcams for YEARS and your videos are the first I have ever cared to like. Keep up the great work and maybe one day we can solve one of these crazy ass puzzles together
Honestly both simple and brilliant at the same time. Very gratifying as you can logic your way through and see how it all works once you get it open!
I saw the into, watched it once and knew how it's done, but I FRIGGIN' LOVE THE EFFECT!!!!! This is why i love magic, it's because even if you know how it's done, it's still awesome and amazing everytime you see it in action. Love your videos, Chris, greetings from Indonesia :D
now back to watching the whole video and giving it a L I K E.
Yeah, I can see how the trick is done, but what I'm focused on is how he moved the box. The only thing I can think of is someone just off-camera blowing on it at the signal.
Yes!! But that moving on its own is what I still want to find out!! Awesome job Chris!!
all of his markers dry out because he never caps 💯🦇
I love this guys puzzle so clean and the logo signature is so nice as far as looks on a shelf go he's definitely my favorite
I just wanted to say, thank you Chris for all the hard work and dedication to your editing, quality, energy and cinematography that you put into each and every one of your videos! Much love

I figured you already did puzzle boxes before but this one definitely feels more authentic puzzle box. Love your videos

There were SO MANY "That's what she said" jokes during this video.
Love your channel, love the intro, love your videos! I've always had a passion solving puzzles ever since my grandfather showed them to me.
One of my favorite hobbies is taking apart things that I either don't need, or things that are broken and figuring out how they work. So if I had to choose one puzzle in the world, it might be that one. So dope dude.
*is it a smiley or a frowny face? Make up ya mind Chris!*
Also, I really like your drawing explanation. Maybe do that again for some puzzles
Who else slammed the like before you even saw the title?😂🤣

I wanna see you try and solve a rubiks cube. That's a puzzle I wanna see!
To put it short: I don't want to see him try that.
To put long:
People dont solve a rubik's cubes using intelligence or puzzle solving skills. Instead they memorise algorithms, literally anyone who can solve a rubik's cube just memorises algorithms. That's what I did to learn how to solve a rubik's cube. I watched tutorials on CZcams and learnt all the algorithms. I did that and many other people in my school did that when I was like 9, it's really not hard, it just takes dedication. If Chris attempted it without algorithms and going in blind it would come down to sheer look. There are 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 positions on a rubik's cube, and the chances of you putting in the correct inputs are tiny. Any position can be solved in 20 moves or less, but if hes going in blind and guessing it will take him years.
I really wouldn't want to see him try a rubik's cube as it would just be a 30 minute video of him not really doing anything but turn pieces randomly and getting frustrated as he repeatedly fails. (However to be fair I did watch all the excalibur videos)
Even if he did learn the algorithms I still dont think it would be a good video. The only decent part of the video would be the epic intro.
Watch a video of Steven Brundage
Amazing slide of hand , I need to learn that magic next on my bucket list. Love the channel keep it up
Chris love this awesome intro and begening of video.

I just love this channel from the intros and camera stuff to the entire basis of what u do it’s just rly unique. Never knew puzzles and magic would be this interesting😂
Him leaving the cap off of the sharpy, literally angers me.. HES DRYING OUT A PERFECTLY GOOD SHARPY!
Edit: Oh wow.. Three people have seen and liked this.. Yay thanks guys
Too easy to recognise a diagonal palm shift. Card palmed to left hand, and it was just released from behind the box :-)
sure, but how did he move the box?
We all know how it was done but don’t ruin tge effect for the people tgat didn’t figure it out
congrats dude, you recognize a slight that he taught on his channel. you are a god among men.
watching you makes me want to do this my self. i love watching your videos.. i even got like a puzzle solving app bc of you lol. great videos great content.. keep up the good work chris!!
That sleight of hand at the beginning was really smooth. I’ll have to try that
Hey Chris, just wanted to say that you are actually the most enjoyable youtuber to watch and it's so much fun to watch your videos too
Keep up the amazing work you do!
Chris the montage was beautiful pls keep doing this stuff luv it😍😍 keep it up🤗🤗
Yoo Chris! I just wanted to say that the last couple intros to your videos have been top notch bro. Your really stepping your game up and we both know that’s gonna pay off eventually💯 keep doing you man!💪
solved this one today and never thought about doing a schematic - nice idea :)
Thanks for doing the drawing, it helped me understand what you were thinking and I found it even more engaging. Keep up the good work :)
I love your intros to the puzzles it makes them feel like they have a personality
One of my favorite all time puzzles. The set screw was getting tight because the access hole on the side of the box for the Allen key isnt threaded and smaller than the set screw to prevent you from being able to remove it from the exterior of the box.
Ah, the intro. Ah the badass editing! You always beat all expectations with your content, I love that!
Love you Chris keep up the good work❤️
Holy crap Chris your drawing was exact .. oh wow you really are brilliant and amazing .. you have to have brains to work out these puzzles before you solve them .. i love how you make little diagrams of the puzzle to work out how the puzzle works .. now thats what i call genius and even more genius is putting it all back together .. nice job
Love the intro Chris, and as a fellow magician who’s loved card tricks since he was like 7 and started practicing at a young age and has like a basic knowledge of all kinds of techniques, that my friends is a good trick to show off to like friends, family or basically anyone and pretty easy one to pull off. I won’t tell how he did it but it does take practice and study the intro as many times as you want and you’ll see how he pulled it off. Good luck 👍
Nice intro trick. Didn’t realize how it was done till I rewatched. Good job!
Fun trick in the beginning. Classy as always mate!
what was cool about that opening trick is not the slight of hand that he and everyone else whos into magic knows how the trick is done its the magic of the boxing getting to his other hand without him pushing it over and sliding to his other hand with his hands amazing magic trick Chris you are a true wizard my man!!!!
I like it when you illustrate your reasoning and thought processes with sharpie-on-paper. Brings some clarity to ur ramblings ;) - I say that respectfully. Please include more if possible.
I love the tricks you do in the beginning of your vids sometimes, this one the palming was a little more noticeable tho i think thats because your teaching us to look out for it lol :-) either way tho great content!
