Did anyone expect that? :D
Hello i did not expect it
Im a water bender
I certainly didn't. It's cool. Love you brother.
Simple, but brilliant.
Amazing puzzle
I was wondering....
"Either I broke it, or it's solved". As an engineer, I would replace that "or" with "and"
It's not a bug, it's a feature.
31°C is usually room temperate here in Trinidad,
So this puzzle will most likely be half solved when it gets here xD
Relatable lol
31?! 18 here today.
@@lonesup5326 yea, it's usually colder later in the year around nov-dec, right now my fan says it's 30°C but sometimes it can down to 28°C,
midday around noon it can reach about 33°C
Your voice is perfect for this type of content, I'm always paying attention and never lose focus.
Perfect
Love the profile pick
Lmao
As some one from england I have no issue with understanding these accents.. is that weird? I never thought about it before haha
You rock 👍
THAT INTRO THOUGH! Love how you keep increasing the quality of your content, thanks so much for the lovely review! Next puzzle will come soon, I'll keep you updated. Cheers and thanks everyone! ~ Tuan Djeems
Tuan Djeems and thank you for an extraordinarily innovative and amazing puzzle.
Tuan
you are a genius sir.
Thanks a lot for this ingenious design! Looking forward!
Have you seen Chris Ramsay's intros?
Supercool😧😂.. what an idea, Youre very talanted👏🏼😌🇸🇪
Could you just rest your hand on it for a while? I feel like maybe that’s the intended way of revealing the secret, like a book of spells you use your own “magic” to reveal.
No
I guessed "it has a flame on the front, set fire to it?", I wasn't far off :P
Oh no! You spoiled it for me
Me too bro haha
Just watch the video first then read the comments boys
You weren't my guy
Oh yeah, that would have totally opened it.
"Either I broke it or I solved it!" Sounds like me doing a puzzle! I would have to take meds to even have the patience to do what you do never mind the skill!
me in my brain: is the solution fire?
the puzzle: close! but not quite.
Me: AGH! so close...
Also me: it's made of wood... of course you can just burn it!
Hahahhhaha same
Literally what I thought, I’m like, ok, u just need to heat it up...🔥
SAME!! Like, knowing the name of the puzzle made me wonder if that was a clue in & of itself!! I'm not even good w/ many puzzles & the past 2 videos I've watched I've been very nearly right.
In Spain we use the phrase "you express yourself like a book on fire" and I thought this was a fun fact
I can't understand the literal meaning to understand the saying what's it mean
It is a fun fact but what does it mean? Is this a multilayer joke where expressing oneself like a book on fire is to be unclear
@@nonachyourbusiness1164 exactly, it just means that, you can say that to someone who is being unclear with his/her explanations, like reading a book on flames
So we fire bending now
I seen you before, also i can bend water
Yes.
*Spoiler*
"You need to expose it to a temperature of about 25-30 degrees"
Americans: Alright, * Puts book in the freezer *
As a american, I would have done this before realizing they meant Celsius.
@@BB-lh1jg same
25-30 degrees is regular temperature here lmao
It would unlock Just cus i live in Brazil damn
Here in the Uk that sounds like a day at the beach
My first thought was to hold it near fire and I'm so chuffed to know that I was correct
"literally No One Expects what the Solution for this Puzzle looks like! - The Book of Fire!"
Is it fire?
(hairdryer)
Close enough.
Next time, please put a spoiler warning on comments with spoilers.
@@naughtyninja9494 You could just have watched the video before reading comments
@@Laptican i did. I'm not asking for a spoiler warning for myself, I'm saying it for other people. I know there are people out there who read as they watch, and it's not too difficult to add a "spoiler warning". Of course, if some people find it hard to add that, they dont have to. It's up to them, it's just a suggestion. 🤷🏻♂️
I have never seen someone this smart before, my head is still hurting from this
How I would love to see you solve the Ramisis puzzle that Chris Ramsey cut in half, and explain how it is solved!
I know, alot of people were so salty that he did that. And in the end, it still didnt explain how it worked! Lol. But after all, it still makes a great conversation piece for Chris.
I second that motion. If anyone can solve it it's mr. Puzzle
Funny thing is I just watched that video
It would be a cool video for fans of you both.
@@ashleyhawkins3099 why can't i find that video u.u you know what the name of it is
Clever use of technology. And not just the temperature sensitive film. Who else loved the laser cut spine of the book?
Ok but 25-30 is hand temp ryt? So can you hold your hand over the flame and do it?
Also the puzzle looks so incredibly beautiful... especialy the spine of the book!
I suspect your hand would do it but take very long to work
How about countries where its 30 degrees out? Its always transparent.?
@@itai82 If its in the sun it will for sure be transparent, if its in the shade indoors its hopefully not hot enough, but it will be an edge case where it probably might not work as good. Also I have not tried exactly this one but normal plastic of this type only takes 3-4 minutes to heat up with the hand.
I believe if you hug the book for a while or put it with you under a blanket, it should unlock by the way of your body heat.
The work on the spine of the book is superb. The heat trick is very unique, I love it!
I worry that the spine would break very easily tho.
my great grandpa had that same Alcatraz puzzle, you just gave me a huge burst of nostalgia lol
Did he solve it?
@@Mr.Puzzle Yeah he did, I was little so I never figured out how, but now I know! He had a lot of puzzles like that, nothing too big or complicated but a lot of smaller ones.
This is crazy!! This is one of the coolest solves I’ve ever seen.
great puzzle. i like how it's actually a cool storage space as well.
Great intro, great puzzle. Thanks again Mr P
Just so cool!
I love the design of this one. Very unique.
Amazing puzzle. Never expected such solution.
Amazing idea. The use of the technology for colour change the mechancial maze is wonderful.
As soon as you started pointed it, I could feel a big grin on my face XD
After you told us about the dot, I guessed that the front of the book would probably turn transparent when warmed up. It's a clever idea. Never seen one like that.
Mr. Puzzle: “When you see the solution, you’ll be blown away”
Me: “Meh”
Mr. Puzzle: [reveals solution]
Me: WTF! [totally blown away]
Literally*
Amazing ! I would have never thought of something like that .
But then again alot of people would have not either.
Definitely one of the best/unique puzzles from your videos.
Loved the heat trick on the puzzel, should have been avatar merchandise
The clues are there but not obvious. Very well made gorgeous puzzle.
I dont like the need for some external apparatus/stimulus for any puzzle. Otherwise, many of the ball puzzles could be solved with a magnet. 🧲
It would have been more interesting if you put your palm to the face of the puzzle and became transparent as a result of the hand heat. I agree though.
you dont need external heat. this material actually works with hand heat. MrPuzzle only used a hair dryer to speed it up so he didnt have to rest his hand for a while to show us
@@XiaoYueMao It would have been nice to see how long it would take normally though. Who wants to sit around for 5-10 mins with their hand on the puzzle and not engage with it? That seems like an inherent flaw, unless im to believe that the person would be sitting there thinking about it while having their hand on it by chance.
BEST PUZZLE EVER 😂👌🔥🔥🔥🔥 i figured out that would be the solution right away and i got so excited when the maze got revealed with heat !! 😍😍 best 👏 puzzle 👏 ever 👏😤
I like your channel, Mr. Puzzle. You consistently show interesting puzzles.
Thanks, glad to hear that!
That puzzle is way too cool
Wow. Incredibly creative and amazing craftsmanship.
That is so smart, wow what a great and unique idea!
Really clever. Thanks for sharing.
Really cool. A lot of times, with unique solutions like this, I wonder how anyone is ever supposed to figure it out on their own haha.
Awesome puzzle,Congrats on deciphering.✌️
"No excessive force is required for the solution ". Mr Puzzle @4:18 Yolo.
Very unique using the thermochromatic ink surfaces. I really like this one.
Wow, that is exceptional and outside the box with the cryptic clue with regards to fire = heat. One of the cleverest concepts i have seen.
Mind Blown !!!!
Loved it
Love the hinge design on the box.
This is super cool...and I need to buy these things.
Thank you, i enjoyed the video. Loved the puzzles!!
Thanks!
So freakin beautiful. What a fantastic piece of art.
That puzzle is awesome, its so creative, so cool
so many awesome puzzles lately
A very clever design !
that book puzzle is awesome
this puzzle is awesome
12:17 "This puzzle is just a-maze-ing"
Only thing I'd change is more videos!! Great Job!
That’s such a neat puzzle!
Each time you solved a puzzle you also gained a valuable experience.
The thermal sticker is absolutely ingenious.
Absolutely!
@@Mr.Puzzle but with the light that work too..!!
I got it right! Even before seeing the title, I guessed that -Spoiler-
temperature would come into it (it was the most unique thing I could think of). And then when I found out what it was called, I felt even more strongly that the solution had to do with heat. What confirmed it for me was your finger changing the colour of the dot. Very nice!
not sure how I feel about this puzzle, usually puzzles shouldn't require tools, right? I mean, yes you *could* heat it just with your hands, but that would require a lot of time and not just "puzzling skills". I do like however the hint with the fingerprint
It does not take that long to heat with the hand, maybe 3-4 minutes, dryer will clear it all over in like 10-20 seconds though.. I think for a puzzle a few minutes is not that bad.
perhaps breathing would work?? now i'm actually curious if it can...
even if it was just enough to make him realize to speed up progress
or being on the right track!
@@g60force yes breathing will work slightly quicker than hand, but the surface is quite large so you'd probably be out of breath before revealing the whole maze. Btw a really hot summer day would definitely reveal it, too bad for the people who oppened their delivery package for the puzzle to be already solved by the weather... xD
Really cool close up shots!!
Awesome, such an amazing puzzle!!
GREAT intro, I just love it.
Thanks!

Held der Steine und der Puzzlemeister laden am selben Tag hoch. Fantastisch 🙌🙌🙌💐😊
😅😁
You didn't disappoint, it is a very good puzzle. I think it could be made better and more fun by using a more intricate labyrinth and maybe if that material because dark faster so it'd force you to finish the labyrinth quicker. However it'd be next to impossible if people didn't know it had to be heated to be seen.
this is beautiful
actually if you think about the name of the puzzle, it already has inside the solution. FIRE, so heat. very very simple when you know how it works, very very hard if youn didn’t.
i love it, and i love your videos. keep on puzzlin’!
Completely agree! Thanks!
so cool. now I know what to do with my laser cutter....thanks for sharing, great channel.
the perfect hiding place for your deathnote!
until L shows up...
That was rather interesting Mr. Puzzle! Nice solve, even if you did get lucky....👍👍😉😉
Very clever safe box
LockPickingLawyer and MrPuzzle are an unstoppable force. I think their definition of 'impossible' is at most a 4/5 rating lol, I wonder what could possibly get the highest rating for MrPuzzle.
The Giraffe
Pure artistery❣️👏🏼☺️.. wow.. stunning..😌
That solution was fire!
cool comment ;)
This honestly seems like a good safe with a few adjustments. You could change out the binding and cover for something a bit more realistic and it will blend in with other books, plus even if someone were to find it, they would probably disregard it or even if they knew it held something inside, it would be hard to figure out how to get it open.
Wow i wouldn't have ever expected that
Very COOL puzzle!!
Really cool puzzle
I gotta say, that intro music is awsome!
Great puzzle, Mr. Puzzle! I’d love to see more videos like this where instead of showing the 5-40mins (condensed to ~10mins) unaltered solve, you walk through the solution as you did here (with hints of red herrings and pitfalls, of course). Then! At the end, You show a very short montage (1min) of your actual on-camera solve with the time clock in the lower corner. In other words, we get the detailed puzzle solve first and then a short blooper reel at the end. Could be a fun format to try out!
*hmm* 🤔
What happens if you live in a hot place where the room temperature itself is 35-40 deg C?
= easy puzzle 😁
I will watch this later properly. But the live hinge gave me a great unrelated idea!
The B roll is very good. Nice touch for the spoiler break.
Hope you are well, looking forward to coming to Germany soon as I can. Travel restrictions. :(
Best,
Eric :)
Cool! Enjoy!
Fuck that intro was good!! That song was great!! The editing, the camera work! I can't watch the video because I keep watching the intro!!!
Great puzzle
Brilliant puzzle. ☯️☮️
Beautiful
Really cool idea for a puzzle :D
Die Idee ist einfach nur geil. Auf sowas muss man erstmal kommen.
Cudos to the puzzle creator. Really cool idea.
Me: sees flame
me: its heat isnt it?
mr.puzzle: am i a joke to you?
I actually really like the flexible binding of the book.
OMG, that's genius!
The Book of Fire was kind of obvious... my first instinct when seeing a giant flame symbol would be to use heat on it
OH MY LORD I HAVE THAT ALCATRAZ PUZZLE AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO SOLVE IT.
The one i have is quite a bit older i think. It at the very least predates their internet webpage. You have to physically write to them for a solution if you want it and include return postage.
I got it when I was really young and honestly forgot about it until i saw it here.
Great video and very cool puzzle. I'm not sure I would ever get it though, because most puzzles are self-contained. Will it turn transparent if you hold your hand on it long enough? If not, the solution is a little to out there unless I had a better hint than the finger print and example. I just wouldn't think I need outside tools.
Sethusk I agree. I thought that the fact that the black dot turned transparent with your fingerprint was a hint that the surface would do the same if you put your hand on it.
Not sure it the hand would be enough. I think breathing in might work.
Mr. Puzzle why don’t you try and let us know, we’re dying of curiosity here 😱
Well duhh of course it will work, why else would the hint be a finger print if you are not supposed to put your hand on it to reveal the puzzle that way?? It should after all easily be solvable without using an extra (electric) tool right.. Also he said between 25-30 degrees Celcius, the human body is around 37 degrees Celcius from inside, so outside probably is a little colder than that but after a few minutes putting your hand on it flat, it should become perfectly visible I would say!
Super cool puzzle BTW, Thnx 4 sharing it!!
@@tjthompson3270 except there was an acrylic cutout over it.
Love the view
very cool method of revealing the solution! though as you said, the solution could still be found by sheer luck/trial and error. it would be awesome to see a puzzle where the locking mechanism uses some kind of material that expands/contracts with heat, so that the actual method of unlocking is to apply heat with a flame or blow dryer or something
Look up something called a "wax motor"
