The fact that you can try and try and finally randomly achieve success and _still_ not understand how the puzzle works is really fitting for the subject material, I'd say.
This was a really deceptive puzzle, and it got the rating it deserves. 😉👍
Very good we all know how to create life the process from there i know little about tbh and my daughter is 22 this year. Yeah I wasn't that kind of partner back in those days. Scariest things I've been through and I'm s stroke and bleed victim. The nurses were horrible like i should know what they do. Still she was fine. All that really matters.
They never stand a chance against Mr Puzzle, but this one put up a good fight!😊
💪😁
One of the most stumped I've seen you about the inner workings of a puzzle. Usually, you are very good at mapping them without having seen the inside.
I can cut it on a lathe and see what inside, but don't want to destroy such a beautiful puzzle )))
If if would be not that expensive I would also cut it open. 😁
You found this puzzle.... Laborious
My favorite puzzles are when the diagram book comes out📝
Nice to see you 😃🫶
The god of puzzles is so good, that he doesn't even know how he solves them, he just does.
😂
Seems it's some sort of internal maze. Perhaps the intention is that it can be more satisfying to own long-term, because the owner can eventually come to understand exactly how the pieces must be moved. Many puzzles are one and done, but this one is still a mystery, and hopefully one to be solved.
Thnkx mr puzzle a perfect gift for my dad, who has everything he wants. Another whisky glass this one is the coolest I'd have got him yet.
I initially thought that covering the hole on the side of the cylinder with your finger was part of the solution but it looks like that wasn't it.
I went down the rabbit hole searching the internet and the only posts there are about this puzzle always have some sort of "I'd wish I knew how this works". People seem to be randomly getting the ball out without truly understanding how.
Moreover, the puzzle designer + manufacturer himself is sort of a mystery. Nothing exact is known about Mr. Roger D other than that he's some german-speaking person (because the puzzles are usually named with german words) that makes a very devious and incredibly engineered metal puzzles and signs them with letters R D. The full collection has more than a dozen different puzzles. The oldest posts I find about Geburt / Birth are about from 2012, though other puzzles of his date back to 2006 and maybe earlier. There's also information that Roger D. stopped making puzzles at some point, but then came back around 2021 with "Maze Bolt+".
Be sure, I will figure it out! 😉
Nice job, buddy!
Nice job, I could really feel your relief as you solved it! Agree with the unsatisfying conclusion, but you did solve it! Keep on puzzling!!
Mr. Puzzle. HI!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me: *levitates 1/2" from chair*
😁👍
A most puzzling puzzle.
Hey guys check this out *violently spins glass, throwing the contents al over everyone*
A confusing and crazy puzzle to solve but you did it.
This puzzle made me chuckle...hahaha😂
The good thing about this puzzle... if the ball doesn't release you can always cut it open to retrieve it. I'm not waiting 9 months to solve it.
Just call in the Terminator.
This gave me an amazing idea for a puzzle ;-D
WHat if you have a hand held 3d printer, that prints strings of plastic of differnt colors that must be printed and organized propperly. If fail, then restart ? lol i dont know, just first thoughts... Maybe it could be very unique and diverse 😀
I think you did explain the mechanism, you dropped a ball or something out of one eye that was shallower into the notch, then you had to rotate and drop it into the other eye that's deeper
I would be afraid to spin the glass. With my luck bad things would happen 😂
😅
I have to admit that when I saw the concept of the puzzle, I got a little concerned. 😅
But the solving was fun to watch as always
Thanks!
This amazing puzzle is very interesting.
I think it solved by some sort of vacuum by covering the hole and pushing the bolt
In one minute all you had to do was say the name i got it. I think you will find this is a piston puzzle air pressure can do amazing things covering the hole and pumping the piston caused the internal pressure to force the air out and if you cut it open all you will do is destroy it.
I tried that, thee is a short moment I the video. Did not work.
Think this could’ve been prepped for releasing it on valentines day..😂
I honestly thought it looked like a tattoo gun…
If it went together it has to come apart!!
Additive manufacturing has obsoleted that particular afforism.
Still - we've still got, "Everything comes apart once!"
Maybe you should cut it in half to let everyone see inside how the hell this thing works 😂
interesting that you said unsatisfying, if i was a puzzle maker, that would be my pride, that people wouldnt know how things are done
I think the real art is to make something one can understand even without seeing it when spending enough time with it. I am sure I will also understand this puzzle. Once I understand the opening sequence I will come up with a mechanism.
What is unsatisfying though is that it solves randomly. So you can claim you solved it but still it does not provide you with that feeling as you did something right.
@@Mr.Puzzle ah ok, now I get your point, and true, as the player should be indeed important to fully understand it
To me, puzzles should be difficult enough to give u a challenge, but not TOO difficult where they're unsolvable or solved completely by coincidence. The point of puzzles is to solve them. That's what would make it unsatisfying to me.
I wonder if the text can be some sort of guide. Perhaps something to do with the six degrees of freedom (forward/back, up/down, left/right, yaw, pitch, roll) but maybe in another language. Or since both Right and Roll start with R one of them was replaced with a J and so on...
if I recall correctly, it looked like your thumb was over the ‘belly button’ when you pushed down…might have something to do with the solve. idk. worth thinking about.
Yes I love it so much
Will that removed ball fit in that hole on the cylinder body ?
since it's a puzzle by Roger D, maybe it's solved like "Alles Roger" and R2D2
I tried that, also in the video. 😁
@@Mr.Puzzle I know, I saw. But you can remember with those puzzles not only the action itself is important, but holding the thing in a specific orientation or twisting in a certain way.
what happened? seemed like it was a suction that allowed something to occur what occured? a ball released but this may occur in a pneumatic union and the eyes were a red herring, the mouth allows the gas release from the pump mechanism of the bolt, it being looser with turning but more resistance when pumping the pin up and down ie the screw. but if the mouth was held when pumping might the vacuum add resistance and a small ball might be pulled into the puzzle and if the mouth is un covered the ball gets stuck until vacuum recurs where the ball moves or is released if pumped slowly to reduce the vacuum seal? "Birth" unclear meaning?
Oh man, for the first 5 minuts of the video i thought it resembeled a robot head or something hahaha
"How does it look like?"
If u are referring to how he said that, English isn't Mr. Puzzle's first language, however he speaks better English than a LOT of people I know that only know English. If u are genuinely asking, it's supposed to look like a woman giving birth
@@btter710 - He does, indeed, speak excellent English, and he is highly astute - astute enough to make a minor tweak in his speech that would improve his mastery of the language dramatically. One, single, minor correction, which he inexplicably declines to make. Or maybe you prefer that he NOT improve, allowing you to subconsciously consider yourself superior to him? That’s the only explanation that comes to mind for your oddly huffy reaction to a subtle, courteous, constructive correction.
Can you do the lighter puzzle next?
Got a few more Roger puzzles over here. Lighter is also here.
@@Mr.Puzzle I know, you showed them in an earlier video. But I'm mostly interested in the lighter.
You need to have an x-ray done on it.
I don't think that would work since it's metal
@@btter710 Industrial x-ray machines are used to inspect metal parts and welds all the time. A dental machine wouldn't work, but something more powerful should be able to see the internal geometry of the puzzle, especially considering that it appears to have an aluminum body.
@@TexDrinkwater ah ok I didn't know such a thing exists. Thanx for the knowledge!
Different microphone/room you record in? The audio sounds so different.
New setup
What is stronger, the glass or the table?
🤔
@@Mr.Puzzle I should have said ‘more durable’ but my brain let me down.
It's hydraulic
Break it open!
It's steel bro
😁
Did you already find out how it works, I can't ketbit go 😅
That puzzle obviously is a woman and we will never understand women.
OK, that's a good one!
I'm a woman and don't understand women, so this is pretty accurate lol
How am I supposed to solve the puzzle when I’m not even sure what it’s supposed to look like?
I’m clearly missing something
If designed well you can figure it out. I
Still working on this one to understand it.
@@Mr.Puzzle it still doesn’t explain why what I think looks like a robot head wearing a black beanie hat is giving birth…
Thanks for the reply tho Mr.Puzzle! I’ve been watching for a while and love your videos!
It's supposed to look like a woman giving birth
Maybe German... "wahoos" look different... but that doesn't look like no wahoo I've ever seen. (I'm American)
Must be as you say 😁
Are you an engineer by trade? I have never asked before. I have watched several of your videos.
Yes
@@Mr.Puzzle it all makes sense now. Haha
Better luck next time...?
Certainly the weirdest puzzle I’ve seen. And I’d rather not try to find a weirder one.
Could it be that when you covered the 'bellybutton' hole, it caused a suction effect? I dont know how that would help, but it was my first thought when i heard you blowing or sucking into it!
"oops" puzzle porn !😱
All of your female viewers will be grateful that you didn't need to perform an episiotomy.😳
🤣
I don't get the name.... at all... but you know what? That doesn't make it any less entertaining to watch.
It's a woman. The black cap is her head, below that two boobs, a belly button, and she gives "birth" to the ball.
What makes you think you solved the puzzle?
I fulfilled the objective "remove the pill".
U kissed another woman Mr. Puzzle! I'm telling your wife! Lol I'm referring to what u are doing at 5:55 lol. Hope u are well! 💜
😘
Just cut it open.
😁
@upatamby
I would not consider the puzzle solved until all parts come off.
By the way, does the pill fit in the navel? Perhaps that is the next step to the solution.

@@Omor-Faruk. me too
Very sad they make a puzzle about an abortion pill! That company would never get any of my business after that.
Noted, but he said it was a "birth control pill."
@cyh4031 Cringe.
It's not an "abortion pill" it's a birth control pill.
Agreed. Your most boring video.
I would not consider the puzzle solved until all parts come off.
By the way, does the pill fit in the navel? Perhaps that is the next step to the solution.
