Sure, this is correct solution! )))
You only can have easeer assembly, at last step, if you use ring with longest brass rods(put it in side rings holes), but generally - you solved this puzzle correct.
Thanks for this video, I enjoyed it very much! I Like your engineering way in solving.
In my opinion one of the best puzzles you created yet. Very creative! 😊👍
I agree great puzzle and great solve
That is a very clever puzzle👏👏👏
That's a very cool packing puzzle, quite different than any others that I have seen :D
Generally?
There was a hint in de directions by stating nothing would fall off when shaken, was implying there should be parts not around the shaft in the solution. Also the name Cluster was suggesting there would be groups of items together. But all in all, a very challenging puzzle and well made!
Finally after all the years of watching I spotted the solution before Mr Puzzle.. As soon as it came apart I figured the solution had to be in the pins and holes otherwise there was no need for them to be there and then I saw it.. I must have looked like an idiot screaming at the laptop screen hang them out on the pins.. I don't ever expect to do this again so you can put on my tombstone "Just once he beat Mr Puzzle to the finish line, he can now rest in peace" ..
))))
🤣 Would have loved to see you watching the video!
The twist at the end of your solution was one of the first ideas I had, and I knew you were onto it as soon as I saw you link the two pieces together like that. But I really liked how there was more to it than just that one gimmick as it gives more options to think of and try out. Really neat puzzle!
This solution made me smile. I love it.
I already love this puzzle
That GENUINE enthusiasm and utter JOY in tehr 'ahah' moment and following solve was infectious! What a wonderful puzzle!
I’m quite partial to an odd puzzle but this one would have my hair turning grey 😂😂
Clever! It's so nice to see a puzzle that's not just a test of patience or dexterity, but a genuine enigma. A vital part of this one's appeal is that the nature of the solution is itself puzzling. That's a rare thing. Bravo!
Never seen him so excited to solve a puzzle ☺
That one is MADNESS and I love it. I'm always a fan of any puzzles where the scratch paper comes out. Brings back fond memories of those old "hidden maze" puzzles with the graph paper lol
loved the solution to this one and it's very nice looking, too!
very unusual, having them stick out was actually my first thought when watching this. when opening up the caps though, i wondered if i was wrong, but the measurements seemed to give no other option
Thinking outside of the box. Reminds me of taskmaster. Haha
The puzzle relies on expectations. The puzzler thinks the main shaft must go through the holes, as they fit together. And so, due to expectations, the puzzler does not see that there is no requirement to meet expectations.
Brilliant!
Other solutions include Duct-taping the rings to the side and a Hydraulic Press.
:P
This was brilliant😂
Not thinking outside the box, but outside the cilinder 😜👍👍 thanks again
🤣👍
Love this one!
Beautiful looking puzzle...Thanks for the upload!
OUTSTANDING!
l think l would take note of each piece as l disassembled it, choosing an A, B or C side, documenting each attribute, either raised, indented or hollow and marking the position w an A, B or C. still, an unusually made packing puzzle as it's more 3D than a flat frame.
I have no idea how long it would've taken me to realize the solution. Great puzzle!
I suspected that was the solution when I saw those pins sticking out. 😊
I had it figured out as soon as it was taken apart to be honest its super easy to see the trick it's made to make you look at it in the wrong way and not see what's right in front of you.
Dear Mr. Puzzle,
I've been a long time fan and still love your work!
Being from Chicago I have to say "You gotta upgrade to Inch man"!! This "Bit-ta-batá-boo" millimeter is slowing ya down! LOL great job man!
I love the shiny metal machined ones like this. Very pretty.
Awesome puzzle.
It is the first time I knew the solution before Mr.Puzzle. :)
Well done! 👍
Such a unique puzzle! It's refreshing to see new ideas implemented in cool ways
I solved this in under 4 seconds. As soon as I noticed the three holes on each ring I knew this is how to put it together.
This reminds me of why a lot of puzzles have a list of rules you generally can’t do. It’s nice when you can intentionally break those ones from time to time.
No rules were broken
@@ObsessiveGeek That's the point
@@pepperonipizza8200 So it’s a bad thing that this has a very specific rule?
I dont know why but I thought of the solution as soon as he started opening the puzzle. Usually the puzzles look hard, but this one seamed easy for me.
Not trying to brag, that's where my brain went straight away. I never thought about the other things.
I knew I smelled a math story problem, ( or whatever they're called nowadays) lurking in the intro! I cant wait to see the solution!
This is why we need to bring "creative thinking" back into the schools or even into our everyday lives. Most people only think on the surface and are cognitively limited when it comes to problem solving. It's like linear thinking vs. multi-dimensional thinking.
Great puzzle, side thinking to solve it; that is what i like most, puzzles that makes me think ... i was too nervious most of the time of the video because i was seeing that (multiple parts at same level, so must be out and not centered) ... till i saw you finding that solution.
Great video and great to see you trying to real solve it in live video (other videos of other youtubers looks too false since they try the puzzle out of camera prior to record the video); it is a honor to see you really trying by first time the puzzles. 😊 ❤
Thanks for your feedback and noticing this. It can be hard to solve sole puzzles in one sitting when you try it for the first time. You never know in the beginning where you finally end up. ⌚😊
Very good!
Well done. Honestly I thought the center shaft would come apart so it could be extended and all the rings would fit within the line of the new length.
Yep I had the same idea
Superb!
Nice machining.
Hope we make it to 1 million
Seems like a puzzle for expert puzzlers/engineers to me. I loved that Mr Puzzle enjoyed it, but it's probably not for the rest of us!
I saw solution immediately when I saw pins. I'm the worst puzzler and I don't like or do puzzles. Probably valid.
BRAVO!
That's cool, I saw that mistake and had the same thought at that very moment. Hehe
Makes sense why in the instructions it said parts can’t fall off when turning or shaking the puzzle
....need to think outside the cylinder (sneaky)
Wow! I don't think I would have ever got that.
That is right i watch a nother guy do the puzzle just like you did an he sent a picture to the maker and he said that is right. That is the right way.
You make the impossible possible- amazing outside the box thinking.
Fantastic puzzle and solving by the way.
Thanks! 😁
I knew it !! First thing i thought when seeing the parts x)
I can understand you wanting to contact the constructor.
Because, I don't think you can shrink that diameter (and make it thin like the photo).
The photo on the right is just to make it seem impossible.
That's why the rules say "all parts must fit below the line," or something.
So, I can understand you calling, because I imagine it's going to be the same width (diameter) but short and stout .
On to the video now .
Good job, Mr Puzzle and puzzle Constructor(s) .
😂
OH, @1:22
😁👍
The pieces must not move.
Hey! Someone else who still prefers real vernier calipers! No dial, no batteries!
👌
I had the right idea pretty much instantly... 😃
Fun!
I got this one in the first few seconds, the pins were the clue (I’m not a frequent puzzler so maybe just good luck)
I have a feeling that piece extends.... I was wrong. :)
The central shaft?
Good guess, though bud
@@groowandererDon't patronize him.
I expected it exactly like that as soon as you took it apart
Those pins are so obvious
Cool video. The very first thing i thought when I saw the holes in the discs was a solution like this, with protruding pieces. I mean really, there couldn't be any other way to fit them, and those holes gave some hint 😊. But i don't know, is this the correct solution?
Beautiful puzzle. Too bad these are usually waaaay out of my price bracket for entertainment :D
Again an wonderful puzzle of mr puzzle you mind and you have a succes ideas.Well done🎉🎉🎉 i hope to to have 100 million subscribers some day .
1 million would be also OK 😇
Wow
Cool
Great solve! Is there any way I could get a list of your music titles from past and present? Such nice, easy listening sounds, wouldn't mind listening to them while I am at work.
I don't have it but will check on epidemicsound if I can print my playlist
Another wonderful long-form puzzle vid! Great stuff, Mr. P, and I hope you and yours are well!
-D (12th Like!)
EDIT Upon a 3rd viewing, this elegant puzzle was shockingly difficult! This is one of my favorite videos by Mr. Puzzle, hands down. Whoa!
Thanks, yes all good! Hope the same on your side!
I sure wasn't seeing the solution.
SOLUTION... Take the 2 ends off and open each end so that you have 4 parts with threads like a nut. thread on the threaded cap (nut) first on one side followed by the threaded ring (nut), tighten with pin rings. repeat on other side. untighten the center bolt witch is actually 2 bolts and a threaded spacer! extend center bolts with spacer. put back together... "VOILA" easy peasy. I solved this in 5 seconds or less just by watching a freezed frame. Everyone just has to see outside the box. Slow your thinking down. It also helps to dumb things down sometimes...
The most obvious puzzle I've seen for ages.!
I wouldn't pay $220 dollars for that puzzle.
Use the hole from both sides... 😳
Not to brag, but I saw the solution early in the video. OK, I'm bragging. ;-)
Well done! 👍
So, I'm not going to watch the solution or read the comments. I just need a clue. I've figured that there is space in both end caps to fit a ring in each one and still screw together. But after that I still can't get all the rest of the pieces below the line. It seems impossible!
Clue: Why to waste brass on this puzzle?
I knew it!
40 Minuten für eine Lösung gebraucht, die ich direkt am Anfang gesehen habe. Bitter
I knew as I began watching that this would be as much a RIDDLE as it is a puzzle, and I was right! I got frustrated with your repeated use of the word 'impossible', as I knew the maker would not send you something that had no possible solution. But I also knew your outside-the-box thinking would kick in & get you there.
First time solves can be hard! Just talking and no scripting. Considering it being impossible is just an impression of getting frustrated. 😅
Nope. As an engineer myself as you are Mr Puzzle, I hate that solution. Thinking outside the box at the highest level though. I think if feels like it breaks the rules.
Hehe, yes. It's like "on the edge" of the rules! 😁
As an engineer you need to understand the rules of engagement with puzzles, the solution is usually in the grey zone where we don’t like to operate 😜
That's hot!
Just spin it
Whoah, nice. That was genuinely clever. That was cool
Arrrg…site won’t load
Honestly does not feel a right solution (even if saw in the comments the creator itself confirmed it is...)
in the instruction it says all pieces should be in a fixed state and not move. So to me it imply that for the "protruding" rings, where you have only 1 pin engaged they could still rotate... So at least there should be a solution with at least 2 pins engaged per parts to really say they are fixed...
Also... you have now 1 row of protruding rings. You could easily have more lines of protruding rings (at least two will surely fit), so you do not need to disassemble the top and bottom piece anymore...
Its not a pleasant solution. It has gaps. Its not correct.
Meh
It's "From Ukraine". You wouldn't say "from the Canada" or "from the Germany", would you? Slava Ukraini. Slava Heroyam. \|/
It's not "The Ukraine". It's just Ukraine. You don't say we're visit the England or the India or the Russia. You also don't say "The Ukraine". It's only "Ukraine". It's from Ukraine.
Wrong solution
I had this sort of a solution in mind when I saw all of the pieces. Don't know if it's wrong.
There's a high pitching sound in the music. Please avoid this the next time. It's annoying
Why do you repeat yourself?
Cool
