Thanks for only making this super short instead of long dude, good work!
I try
Hey man, nice simple review. I look forward to shooting this shotgun some day.
Nice short comprehensive video. Good Job!!
Shell Carrier. Taran tactical makes a great one that eliminates "benelli thumb".
Thanks for tip about finger pinch. I noticed that too and will try your fix.
thumb position on the brass is everything. keep your thumb near the rim instead of covering the bass/primer and all.
It's a great shotgun. I've run this same 28" waterfowl pattern M2 for the past 3 years. Probably better than 2500 shells through it. She's great in the duck blind. However, the front fiber optic site is really fragile. Knock it once on the side of the duck blind or your work bench and its toast. On my 3rd in 3 years.
Very nice review of this gun. If you missed anything it is the fact that Benelli offers a10 year warranty on their shotguns.
Love my m2 twenty
great review
Please do a Mud Buddy review! Those dudes need some love right now!
carrier is the part you discuss.
I'm buying a new shotgun and can't decide between the benelli m2 or the super black eagle 2. I wanted the SBE3 but I'm left handed and they don't make a left handed SBE3. And I also can't decide between a 26 or 28 inch barrel. I mostly hunt pheasants and grouse, but occasionally ducks. Can someone help me out?
would you recommend this gun for turkey hunting?
Hi .. thanks
Does it cycle shells with low power? I heard that if you use 24gr shells there won't be enough power to eject the shell and load new one .
Ali Murad it doesn't have under 28g shell I think on my experience
Mine cycles 1oz shells fine (28 gram). Never tried anything lighter but I’m pretty sure it would be unreliable under 28
@@j.rob.5943 Hi mate thanks.. I have it since 2 years... And i can assure you now that it cycles 24 gram ammo easily with no issues at all.. All types of 24 gram are working fine....
Thank you so much for your info about Benelli M2. I just wants to ask what is the best for a starter like me to buy? I really love the como color of your shotgun. I really love the Benelli because it's so light. Thank you in advance
Thank you Sir….God bless you !
excellent thanks bro
Great review I am picking up one in a few weeks. Great all around utility gun. Going to use it for turkey, deer, skeet and duck. Do you recommend the 28 over the 26?
D
Steak prince Joey Attanasio 26
People tend to pick a 26” for waterfowl
Its called a lifter. What you were talking about in the video, the thing you push up to load the shotshell.
This gun is sweet. I got the 26” in 12ga M2 field about 5 years ago. Only used for dove hunting but I’ve definitely put slugs and buck thru her.
Not one feeding issue out of 1000+ rounds...with only exterior oiling...
Now that I realize I’ve only cleaned the barrel...I should probably break her open today and see how dirty it is, it somehow keeps running fine even on bird loads!
will it shoot low brass
subscribed. great content. probably getting an a5. review that
Joe Nasca a5’s are great
Just bought a 20 gauge m2
It’s called your loading gate
Funny, my beretta A300 has that same annoying shell insertion flap that pinches me when I'm loading the gun.
ya whats that dam little silver button on the trigger guard and when do you use it? in the manual it calls it 2 different names. 1st it calls it "cartridge drop lever" and on next page its called "safety catch". Nobody mentions a thing about it in videos ? When do you use it?
It continues to amaze me the things guys will endure not to have to regularly clean their shotgun.
so i'm 13 now i get a gun whem i'm 15 my uncle said that this would be a good shotgun for me since i'm planning on doing some competition shooting and some hunting (mostly hunting) any opinions on if it's actually good for me or not (i was thinking the speed performance model with a bigger magtube already installed)
Midwest Flyways okay thx!
Check out the Winchester sx4
Leevi21 I am 13 as well and I love the m2. Great recoil reduction and it’s easy to clean. I also like the browning a5. But the 3 b’s are the way to go. Benelli, beretta, browning. All good guns to consider!!!!
When your thumb gets stuck it is the worst pain
*Laughs in Garand thumb*
Hey quick question.. Does the m2 have a smooth bore or rifled ?
Smooth bore it's a shotgun not a rifle
You can get a rifled barrel but Idk why you want a $1500 slug gun but to each his own
How did the m2 work out and would you recommend it?
She’s still running strong. Great gun
Good looking into them
I'm considering purchasing that M2 or over and under field gun. I cannot decide. Which is the best way to boar hinting (30%) and bird hunt (70%)?
Do you have some problems with M2 loading system jam?
You want the over and under. Especially Bore hunting.
Does this have less recoil than Remington 870 pump? Thank you
I feel like this is an opinion so it could be different for everyone, but for a 12 gauge I would say yes... in my opinion.
@@midwestflyways thank you so much!! I picked one up and shot 50 rounds through it... it definitely felt better.
Glad we could help
Can I use a 18.5 inch barrel with this shotgun?
I don’t believe they come in that length.
so this can run slugs or is that only for the 3.5?
Moboots Gaming what?
Yes, but NOT with full or IM chokes. Use cylinder, IC or modified
Is yours super hard to load shells into?
Just the pinch that I was talking about. If you mean the resistance and if that is difficult, no. It’s not difficult.
Midwest Flyways gotcha, I’m sure you’ve heard about loading shells into the magazine tube being extremely difficult in some m2’s
Can it be used defensively
vince gredo nope. It can only hurt birds 🙄
No the best gun out there
👍
I’d be Superman if I had an extra 1/2 inch.
Just bought one how do you like it compared to other benelli’s
Joeys never been a fan of the m2 but Conor loves his, the sbe1 will always be a classic.
Midwest Flyways I picked the m2 because I heard a lot of bad about the sbe3
👍👍
I prefer to say shell gate
Vary Vary Goog
The only thing I hear bad about Benelli is their Customer Service. What's your experience with Customer Service?
I have not needed to go down that road yet, fortunately.

tarantacticalinnovations.com/the-store/shotgun/benelli-m2/ It takes about 10 minutes to install and really saves your thumb.
its called a dust cover
Wrong
Shell elevator
Benelli : non plus ultra made in Italy.
stoeger 3500
Stoeger is not comparable to a Benelli M2, not even close. Stoeger is a budget gun made to a hit price point. They’re on the same level as Mossberg & Remington
Loading gate......
Anyone who finds their Benelli too short in the stock, check out www.benellistockspacer.com
I found the m2 for 999 dollar at cabelas
Gavin shoots that’s the naked edition
Sharkson77 nope. Regular price $1399 and is the same M2 sold directly from Benelli distributors, comes with case, 5 chokes, choke wrench, etc.
