I'm chagrined that I haven't had a chance to take this baby out to go sporting clays.
The spacers between the stock and receiver are to adjust the drop and cast of the stock so it fits better, it has nothing to do with length of pull.
I should add that I have wanted one for years and finally bought 2 of them yesterday, one in 12 ga and 1 in 20ga as they were on sale for 899.99 Canadian each and normally run around $1750 give or take a $100 in Canada. it is like a 2 for 1 deal.

Just curious does the comfort tech stock really help?
About as much as a Limbsaver type buttpad. The Comfortech doesn't add to your length of pull because it's integrated into the stock itself. If you're used to shooting a pump, this will feel a lot softer, even without the Comfortech. This stock does come with a rubber buttpad that feels pretty cushy.
My m2 field came with a hard case.
Most M2 Fields do. But was yours the "American" edition?
Was it the "American" model? The regular M2 Field comes with a hard case and 3 extra chokes
the american and the classic does not come with the comfort tech stock or hard case. This significantly lowers the price. i bought sbe2 classic $1150.00. No comfort tech and no hard case.

Is it Made in America
The name of this particular variant of the M2 is "American" but as far as I know, all Benelli's are made in Italy based on the stamp on the shotgun. czcams.com/video/8nMuIMuzqik/video.html
It's called American because it doesn't have all the bells and whistles like the other M2s such as 3 chokes instead of one and the hard plastic case. It was specifically made for the American market to be sold cheaper. Other than that it's the same Italian made gun.
@@wizardofahhhs759 its comparable to the m2 euro, wich comes in the same box as this american, but has 3 chokes with it but no spacers for the stock. And its black. Have it and love it and its considered the ak47 of automatic shotguns.
@@jmkhenka Mine came in a red, white, and blue cardboard box with one choke and no shims, and it's camouflage, it's an M2 Field model so maybe they made different variants. I know it's the sweetest shooting shotgun I've ever shot and the fastest. I just wish it held 5 shells instead of 4.
