Hey Randy! Thank you for your reviews, both here and on your website. You’ve been the only consistent unbiased source for shotgun information for years and many of us truly appreciate your analysis and personal opinions when it’s time to buy.
That’s a great looking shotgun. I picked up a Mossberg SA-20 last year based on your review, it has been fantastic. In fact, my son kinda hijacked it from me so I had to get myself I Weatherby Element upland.
Hey Randy, thanks for the review! I was wondering if you still hunt some with the A-5 Sweet Sixteen during Phesant season and do you feel the same about it now?
I was in the market for an m2 20ga, but opted for an older one. I prefer the higher quality comfort tech. Stock option. I was fortunate to find a traded in as new gun recently.
I handled the new montefeltro this past weekend and it felt like a great gun. I’ve been considering one with a 24 inch barrel but do you think having the shorter barrel might make it butt heavy?
I use my older M2 20 gauge on everything from woodcock up to big geese. With NO problems. Anyone that tells you you need a 12 gauge should think again.
That is a dandy looking shotgun indeed....Randy how about reviewing one of the new Stoeger 3020 shotguns (sku 36004 would be nice) ...Stoeger made several changes on these that should be improvements but id like to see your review
I have the older m3020 it's been a great gun. 500.00 for a Turkish shotgun that works and, I think that's fair. I picked up a retay at the store the other day. I would buy the stoeger or franchi. No way am I paying 1000 plus for a retay. It felt like a cheaper Benelli copy than the stoeger or Benelli
Yeah everybody aint looking to spend 1k+ on a shotgun and the guys I know that shoot Stoegers seem to like them. I am considering a 3020 for some of my rough country rabbit hunts that I dont want to take my Benelli's
Good review I am personally disappointed in this new release when I played with one at the nwtf convention it felt cheap compared to my older m2 I personally feel benelli is missing the mark don’t get me wrong I love my m2 And I am just a dedicated turkey hunter but for $1300 bucks doesn’t come drilled and tapped no over size bolt release and having to buy a spring from wolf or taran tactical to eliminate the click

You're quite welcome.
Thank you Randy. Great review.
My pleasure!

What are you going to get when the Weatherby gets hijacked? :)
That’s a kids gun anyway.

With a 12 gauge semi-auto, I use a Fabarm L4S. For 20 gauge SA, either a B-80 or an old style M2.

I'm with you.

No.
Do you think this is the best 20ga waterfowl shotgun on the market or do you recommend others?
My version of a mallard gun, with steel shot, always points to 12 gauge.

Is the receiver drilled and tapped?
No .
Would be awesome in 16 gauge
Is Benelli offering this improved M2 20ga in left handed version?
Not that I know of.

They of course want you to spend the extrs scratch on an SBE3 0).
I would rather have a cardboard box if it would save me money.
Sure it will-- but if you want a shotgun with that box, it will cost you more.
