- The plaintiff says she rented a room from the defendant, and she claims he would go into her room, snoop around, and lounge on her couch. He even spotted in her bra, so she moved out and is suing him. The defendant claims the plaintiff smoked in her room in violation of the rules, and says she’s a professional rent scammer. He’s countersuing for unpaid rent, smoke damage, a leaving a mess.

She made $57 an hour...that's over $100K a year. And she couldn't find another place to stay? Wow.
Since she’s so prone to exaggeration I don’t necessarily believe that she had such a high paying job in the first place.
$10,000 for feeling violated? If only I got $10,000 for every time I felt violated…..
This is absolutely disgusting. If she thinks she is some type of victim in this situation, she definitely hasn't ever been truly victimized. Screw her for pretending that what she went through was akin to someone truly violating someone's space, body, privacy, etc. It is people like this that make real victims feel ashamed to come forward.
That woman is exactly the reason that women aren't taken serious when there's actually real problems and abuse.

I would not feel comfortable if a landlord came into my room unannounced when I wasn't there. Just tape the paperwork on my door. However, everything else was a bit much on her part.

If I had a job that pays $57/hr and I had no place to stay, I would rent a Uhaul truck and sleep in it to keep that job.
The fact that she thought she would get 10 grand because her landlord entered her room to leave a receipt is beyond me. This woman is completely delusional

The lady is not too bright. At her age she should know that keeping her job was very important. At $57.00 an hour she could stay at a hotel temporarily until she found somewhere else to live.
This lady is a piece of work. The landlord was wrong to enter without permission, but it was not an act serious enough to warrant a breach of the lease.
When she said 'if you don't get it, you are never going to get it. There is no point in a continued explanation.' This is the most upset I've seen the judge!
She probably didnt want him in her room because he'd see her ashtray and empty liquor bottle😂😂
