Take the top cap off and make sure the fork stem is below the headset 1/8" to 1/4". If it stem and head set is flush it will not tighten. No room for the stem to move upward.

I don't know why, this was also a problem with may previous bike. I do stoppies and wheelies but a lot of people do so I don't think this is the reason. Pls help!!
It "tensions" the bearings, so if it's overtightened the balls in the bearings will be squeezed so tightly in the bearing tracks ("races") that they will wear out very quickly (and might not spin at all)
I made this mistake by not checking it while riding for the first time in years 😂 safe to say I went flying.....lesson learnt

I would shorten the fork with that many spacers but it’s personal preference 🤷🏻♂️
Fork length is about rider fitment, not aesthetics. Not like he had spacers on top of the stem

Torque wrench or Allen Key
It doesn't work I try many times and my upper stem bolt start slipping

Check you actually have a gap between the top of the stem or spacers and the steerer. You need at least a 3mm gap for everything to compress.
