Hi! In this video Iâll go over why I think the Panasonic Lumix G9 is still a relevant camera for video in 2022. Thereâs some footage in this video with different lenses and apertures to give you an idea of the image quality. I also explain why I picked over the GH5 at the time. I hope youâll enjoy it!

P.S. Your voice is made for media. It's very rich. It's really a pleasure listening to you, in addition to your content of course :)
Thanks! đ
Thank you! Amzing footage
Still using my G9 regularly with my GH5ii for extended 4K recording and live-streaming. Top notch content upload
Nice review. Thank you.
Yes, it is still worth it for many folks including myself. I keep seeing 8k and I say why? I think you have to understand your project needs and if its working for you just stick with it. Having the latest and greatest does not mean you are going to produce the best thing ever. This is just my thoughts and opinion. Thank for always giving us great content on the G9.
Thanks! đ and youâre absolutely right! The right tool for the job doesnât mean it has to be the latest and greatest
True and even 1080p is more than good enough for most folks 99% of the time unless you would watch content on a 55" or higher 4k TV and pixelpeep.
I have this camera on order... can't wait!
I love your videos thanks, and your delivery is excellent đ
Thanks Jeffrey! đ
Great video đ I love my g9
I am mostly using the G9 for stills and some B-Rolls. I have the OM-1 now, using both in the fields and hoping for a G9 mkii.
Would love the same tilting screen as the one on the GH6, Improvements in high ISO, even better stabilization. And hoping there will be few changed (or changes for the best) in the ergonomics of that handy camera. Maybe a slightly smaller camera if possible, the upper screen can be removed.
I appreciate those Panasonic FW updates. Thank you Panasonic.
And thank you for your videos on the G9, I have been following your channel for quite a logn time.
I still have it and I'm still amazed by the quality.
I have a G9 and GH6 and love them both!
Absolutely great video. I subscribed. I bought this camera in 2022 and I'm so pleased. It's a hybrid dream camera. I have a kit lens 12-60 and just bought Sigma f1.4 16 mm and I'm loving this for street and urban photography and video. Speaking of which I'm excited to shoot video and explore the potential of this cam for creating cinematic video and doing events and such for a side hustle. All the best. Looking forward to your new videos.
Awesome! Thanks for subscribing!
Itâs a fantastic camera indeed. I still use almost daily, mostly for video.
Eine absolut perfekte Kamera....möchte sie nicht missen !
The G9 is a fun camera. I shoot hybrid, but lean toward video now and have been using the GH6. Iâve noticed we have similar taste in gear đ. Iâve subscribed.
Hi Matt. It is a great camera indeed, even for video. Came across your channel recently as well. Subscribed đ
thanks Sebastiaan, as always, a great sum-up of a great camera. Could you make a video, how wave-forms are used while filming? Veel dank bij voorbaat, Uwe
Vielen Dank Uwe! I like requests! I canât say when, but I will make a video about using waveform in video.
@@RedFrameTech thx, take your time!
I think the G9 is a one of a kind, with all the firmware upgrades in the past few years it is such a humble beast for video. I love it
New sub here you G9ner
Welcome to the channel! Thanks for subscribing đ and I, obviously đ, agree with you!
Right on! Would also love to see an anamorphic desqueeze function in a future firmware update, which I think it's not that difficult marketing and technically wise.
That would be nice to see. Although, it doesnât really have a full blown anamorphic mode. Thereâs the 6K photo mode that can sort of function as such, but itâs very limited and nothing like the anamorphic/open gate on a GH5/6
Great video mate! For me I was eyeing the G9 for a few years but sadly it was at a price point which was out of reach. So I figured I'd have to just get on with my trusty G85 for a few more years till it was at an affordable level for me. Then out of the blue about 5 months ago I saw one on my local FB marketplace in mint condition used for $600 AUD with two batteries and a case.
Suffice to say I jumped on it so fast and when I finally got a chance to play around with it. I was just so amazed at the amount of thought that went into this camera even back in 2017. Absolutely love the ergonomics, EVF and amount of great video options there are.
I will admit that I am still learning about video in general but I feel I've got one of the best cameras out there to start the journey on. I am excited for what I will produce with this camera and also hopeful that Panasonic makes a successor to the G9 some day.
Regards from Australia!
Thanks mate đ sounds like you got a great deal on that G9! I hope youâre having lots of fun with it.
And if you want to learn more about its video capabilities, keep an eye on my channel đ
Will do brother! Keep up the great work!
Now mostly run an S5/S5ii pairing for most work but I have retained my G9 and the PanaLeica 12-60 for C cam use.
Dropped mine down a 12 meter cliff when I had a strap malfunction, they're very robust cameras. I'm totally satisfied with my G9, I bought it used 2 years ago, and it's just been solid. The 2.5 firmware for very beneficial, I'm a poor at manual focus, but linear focus really helps, and not just for videos. Have a great holiday!
They are very robust, but wow, a 12 meter drop.. Amazing that it still works!
I love it, sold all my FF gear and been using my G9 as the main/only camera for a few years. Love the small lenses, and the body itself. Sometimes I get frustrated in low light situations or shooting long exposures in the dark but not enough to change.
Great to hear!
And is the best system to use vintage lenses. You can adapt anything and have a lot of fun very cheap
The best way to sort low light situations with the G9 is to use the fastest lenses you can get.
I hear you about low light but in good light it cannot be beat. Still one of my favorite cameras ever.
@@andresgonzalezcerda7635 I see we had the same idea there! I love using antique Nikon glass on my MFT cameras
I don't know why anyone worries about 30 minute recording limits. Who does a continuous take for over 30 minutes? Also, the G9 is so well built and full featured, so far ahead of its time that it's going to be relevant until 2027.
I agree :)
I used to film events, gigs, panel talks and such, and there itâs a huge problem. But for most people I agree 30 minutes is more than enough.
If you redid videos or speeeches or weds ga you could miss an important shit reloading the time dubb
Long form interviews often go for longer than 30 minutes. It's distracting to have to be mindful of a time limit while conducting an interview.
Great video!
Curious if those deer clips were shot with autofocus or manual?
Thanks! Those were shot in manual focus
Your holiday looks lovely, even in all weathers! Are you sailing yourself, or do you have crewmates?
I love my Pana G9. It's my main camera, use it for everything but my main hobby is wildlife photography. It's light, manoeuvrable and tough, and it takes great images on top too. Noise can be a problem, but then again m43 has some great low aperture lenses, and a photo that made an awful jpeg can be transformed with the right processing - DxO Photolab is my preferred for this. I'll go as high as 12800 ISO if I need to get an image, and know that if the content is good, them DxO can do enough to help people forgive the grain.
My only gripe with it is with birds in flight - I've been trying to get pictures of kestrels flying near me and struggle with focus/framing. Then again, that's not just the camera's fault - I need to improve too, they're very small birds against very pale UK skies (cloudy now after our heatwave), and also the 100-300 mk ii lens I'm using is good but not the greatest telephoto for m43. I'm sure I'd get better results with a 100-400 or maybe even a 50-200, but those can wait for now while I hone my skills.
I sometimes get GAS, as I'm sure most photo/video/tech geeks do, but I'm the least affected when I get out, use my camera and realise what a competent, reliable imager it is.
Anyway, thanks again for another G9 video. I suppose it is unlikely it will receive any more major firmware updates - if it does, great, if not, well it's a cracking camera anyway.
Interesting to see Andrew Goodall of Nature's Image Photography take a G9 and a GH6 to Tanzania recently, and not see a super meaningful difference between them photographically.
Thanks for sharing your experience with and enthusiasm for the G9!
My holiday here in the Netherlands was great! Even the âtornadoâ that was very close by (and caused a lot of damage and even a death). It was beautiful! I have been sailing professionally for many years. Many times solo. But now, itâs for pleasure only đ, since I made a switch to a career as a videographer. I do have my girlfriend (who is British) with me as my crew member đ.
As I mainly do video, Iâm not that familiar with the photo side of the G9. But Iâm really happy with the quality of the photos that I do take. Iâve been wanting to try DxO Photolab for processing my photos. Do you have any recommendations for a CZcams channel that has good tutorials on this? đ
Iâve been practicing birds in flight with the G9 too, in video, and itâs quite hard. I agree with you when you say itâs probably our skills that need to improve, although the continuous AF also isnât great as we all know. Most of the time Iâm trying using manual focus though. The PL 100-400 is a great lens btw. Iâm really enjoying the reach, sharpness and colour rendition.
GAS is indeed very familiar to me.. but Iâm still enjoying the G9 very much and have no plans on selling it!
Iâm also planning on making a comparison video between the GH6 and the G9 for video
Nice summary. How effective do you find the GH6âs Focus Limiter function in reducing hunting and pulsing in CAF/AFF? If it works well, that is another function that I would like to see in the G9. The other on my wish list of firmware upgrades would be lifting the record limits. Otherwise, I agree with your G9 II features⊠as well as better AF of course.
I suspect that a new AF system will arrive with the next S range of Lumix cameras and trickle down to G/GH lines.
Thanks Luke!
About the GH6âs focus limiter; I havenât tested it in many different situations yet, but so far for talking head stuff itâ seem to indeed reduce pulsing. I am going to do more tests with it and make a video about it at some point. It would indeed be a nice addition to the G9 as well!
I think youâre right about a new AF system in the next S series cameras. I suspect itâll be a hybrid dfd/phase detect system.
@@RedFrameTech I see DPreview has just done a video on Panasonic. czcams.com/video/9lWW3n_ZHyI/video.html
Just searched g9 and this is he first video that popped up and exactly what I need to see.
Thatâs awesome đ
I have Olympus m1 iii, M5 ii and G9. Even I like G9, size and ergonomics of Olympus is just perfect.
Ergonomics are very personal. Itâs great that you found the perfect one for you
I use it for three years now and I'm still happy with it. Meanwhile, I find my way through the menu and I use most of the useful features.
I needed a backup camera for my EM1 Mark II. Instead of getting a second Mark II or even a Mark III, I chose the G9 because of its video specification. For stills, the G9 is a good match to my EM1 Mark II. My G9 was used, but in mint condition with a low shutter count for just over $700. I donât think you can beat that value! The G9 is definitely still relevant today, especially with the upgrades. New Sub!
Thanks for subscribing đ
Great to hear you got the G9 for the video specs. And you got a great deal!
How is the autofocus in your EM1 compared to the G9 in video? Trying to decide which to buy myself
@@lailaabashir6316 I donât have any extensive use of the autofocus on the G9 at this point as I have mostly used manual focus for video. However, what I have seen thus far, even with the G9âs latest update, the EM1 Mark II autofocus is still better.
I think thereâs only one bad point about g9, the video recording time limit after firmware 2.0. But still g9 is very good camera. Thanks about your video.
I was at the brink of selling mine for more than one time. I never got along with the controls. But in combination with my Fuji X-T3 for stills, I somehow feel a second wind with it. I see it as a pure video camera now - and that works perfectly fine for me.
I feel the same with the GH5. I hate the controls and menu.
great video! recording limit is a killer for me though, and the G9 (at least in Europe) is heavily restricted, making it only marginally better than a GH4 when you already own a small fleet of Lumix cameras (GH5, GH5S, GH4 etc). Bzt as we all know the perfect camera doesn't exist, and it's all about context and usage. ;)
Thanks đ
The recording limit is a thing, I agree. If i need to do longer recordings Iâll either use my ninja v on the G9 or shoot with my GH6.
Youâre right, the perfect camera doesnât exist (yet) đ and itâs so subjective
Maybe I misunderstood your meaning about adjusting autofocus sensitivity (6:25) but hasn't that been possible since the 2.4 update as outlined in the Lumix Video AF Guidebook? I shoot mainly stills with the G9 but have found the camera to be an excellent value and an underrated performer given just a touch of direct sunlight.
Hi Bruce! Thanks for your comment! I understand your confusion. Unfortunately it's not possible to adjust AF sensitivity for video. In the Lumix Video AF Guidebook the G9 falls under the exceptions. For stills however, youâre right, it is possible
The g9 still worth it in 23 and in 24, too. For sure!
Absolutely! Iâm still using it almost daily
@@RedFrameTech just bought another one after selling it before, a decision I deeply regretted.
Nice video. I just got the G9 for fun but i noticed that its as good as my a7sIII with 10bit and V-log on 4K 24p. So im using G9 more than a7s III :D And the USB battery bank what is 72Wh runs it over 24 hrs non stop if i want, put it in pocket and run cable through the sleeve. And the fact that its not APS-c camera with speedbooster. Who got 70-200mm F1.9 ? :D Well i got now hehe
Nice đ the cable through a sleeve is a good idea!
Me encanta, estuvo muy barata hace un par de meses. No lo pude aprovechar đ
I just bought one so I hope it was worth it.
As a big G9 and Panasonic user love the channel and vid! Love to chat sometime over the camera since we both talk about it on our channels
Great to hear! Iâve seen your channel. Youâre ahead of me in subscriber count đ sure we can chat about he G9
@@RedFrameTech Yeah hit me up on Instagram would love to set up some collaboration sometime
@@MatthewDangyou Sure. You can find me @redframetech on IG.
Do you ever feel limited by the 10-bit 4:2:2 because of the lower mbps? I think this is the camera I'll upgrade to from my G80 but I don't want it to feel like a marginal upgrade, I want to really edit my footage a lot without it falling apart for example but I also want IBIS which is why I don't go BlackMagic.
I donât really feel limited by the bit rate. I do notice a difference compared to the GH6, but thatâs also a dynamic range thing.
You can get more out of the G9 by recording to an atomos ninja v in prores (higher bit rates). Then you get high bit rates AND an awesome camera with great IBIS.
You can push around the G9âs VlogL images quite a bit already though
Bought my G9 on sale in April and use it with my GX9 for stills and with my G80 for video. Still learning. While I understand some of features that other users are interested in, for my purposes 1080 is enough..I would just want the max record tine to be increased from 30 to 60 minutes.
Greetings from Sweden
Lifting the recording limit would be awesome, I agree. Probably not going to happen unfortunately.. but great to hear youâre enjoying your G9! HĂ€lsningar frĂ„n NederlĂ€nderna đ
I love my GX8 with the tilting EVF that I miss when using the G9. I was a little bit frustrated of the reaction time of Autofoc8s when using the 100-300mm lens. Since a week I have the Leica 100-400mm and I am satisfied now, especially for birds in fly pictures.
What I really miss is the live composite mode (like M1 or G91). I still hope for a firmware update.
Another function for a successor would be a Astrofoto mode with tracking with the sensor shift (like K3 Pentax). For holiday usage an extra tracker is often too much material. With greetings from Goettingen/Germany - Ralph
Hi Ralph!
Live composite would be great! And nice upgrade to the 100-400. I like that lens a lot, apart from the stiff zoomring. Howâs yours? It seems to vary depending on the copy
@Red Frame Tech The zoom ring of my lens is perfect smooth. But I bought a used one - I heard that the zoom ring becomes smoother over time.
Responsivity of autofocus WAS added to G9 in recent (2.7?) update !
Still a fantastic camera, and I'll probably continue use it until it breaks and cannot be repaired anymore.
Fantastic camera indeed! I still use it almost daily đ
The AF responsiveness only works for stills unfortunately. Itâs not available for video.
Thanks for watching!
I have a g9 looking to upgrade to full frame due to low light! But Iâve had amazing shots and video work with this camera! Iâve been looking at the s5 but I would consider the a7 series due to the liability of auto focus still debating. Wonât make the move till I sell my g9 with my sigma 16mm, 30mm & 56mm lenses. Till then using the g9 and itâs an amazing camera
Hi Quintin! If youâre needs are better low light and auto focus I can see why youâd consider ff/sony. However, for low light the GH6 is a big step up from the G9 if you want to stay in mft.
The G9 is amazing and I wonât be selling it anytime soon, but yeah, for low light and some auto focus situations itâs not the best
@@RedFrameTech gh6 is awesome, but for the price you can get a full frame s5! Still in the market. But for now I love my g9.
âââââ@@quintincooper3108llo i have a GH 4 camera it is very old one now I'm looking to upgrade can you suggest me a half frame camera now I think g 9 is good one
I got the same camera and love then thing more than my Sony 7c
180 degree shutter angle would be good.
Please bare with me.
I sold my Canon 6DMk2 (1083 shutters since January this year - I couldnât stand it) and bought the Lumix G9 (with LP 12-60mm + LP 100-300mm).
The reason, even if the model is some years old, was the cameraâs weather sealing, its fps and how fantastic clever it is.
Iâve used Nikon since the 80âs and switched to Sony α-models in 2013. But I wanted a camera that could stand the weather, which led me to the Canon. Which I hated. It was heavy like a boulder with a 24-105mm, and it stayed at home. I brought my tiny Sony α6000 instead, but it lacks some features. And isnât something to use in rain or lousy weather.
I scrutinized the web for a good camera. Not too expensive, nor some cheap stuff. I got very attached to what I read about G9, and eventually I went to a dealer here in Stockholm and bought it. (People are so keen having the latest and most expensive, but I couldnât care less).
The price is still pretty high for such an âold cameraâ, but you get quality and technology.
Hi Anders! I definitely agree with you. The G9 still has a significant price tag, but gets you lots of features. Features that can be found in other cameras too, but with the G9 those features are all packed into one, nice to handle, camera body. Have fun with your G9!
Hands down the best camera for the money. I fell for the FF hype however getting back with another g9 and a few lenses. The Panasonic menus are amazing and the lenses just make sense.
What FF camera did you have before going back to the G9?
@@RedFrameTech Iâve had the canon RF, Pentax k1 ii, Panasonic s5, and then almost every brand apsc too
IS is one of the reasons I switched from the A6400. The ergonomics are not that great for my hands, still prefer my a7iii. On the wishlist would be a slightly bigger sensor (the one from the GH6) and Sony level AF. The touch screen and menu are of course much better than on Sony. I decided to go for the G9 over the GH5 because of the high res mode for stills and apparently slightly better AF. Price of the bodyand lenses is also easier on the wallet than with Sony. Also nice that Panasonic provides FW updates which actually add features, again an area where Sony is lagging. In summary I would say that the G9 is definitely still worth it in 2022. The only 'downside' is that there's not a lot of YT channels on the G9 compared to say the a6400. It's definitely a camera which even today deserves more attention.
Sony level AF would definitely be very welcome! By bigger sensor, you mean the higher megapixel count on the GH6? Thatâs definitely a plus for stills.
Youâre right, there arenât many channels on the G9, especially on the video side of it. Itâs one of the reasons why I started my channel.
@@RedFrameTech Don't need a massive sensor for video but the slight bump in Megapixels on the GH6 would be welcome for photos.
RED FRAME, I don't really understand the difference between focus type like you mentioned. Wire or liner. Do you have a video on your channel. About that.?

Hoi Sebastiaan. Ik overweeg toch een G9 naast of een GH5mk2 ipv mijn GH5. Mijn videostijl is run/gun/point/shoot, bvk in AF.
I'm thinking of getting this for photos
You ought to, it's great.
What sort of things are you looking to photograph?
@@ericaceous1652 travel camera
@@nachohernandez9491 Depending on budget, the Panasonic 14-140 ii is a great travel lens, light but sharp and with decent reach. Of course the G9 can come as a kit with the Panasonic Leica 12-60 2.8-4, which has decent ish reach but better low light capabilities, plus it's supposed to be wicked sharp.
Then a prime for low light/indoor - some people like the Panasonic 25mm 1.7, I actually went for the Olympus 17mm 1.8 as it was a bit wider for indoor shooting.
Of course, there are even better lenses for more dosh, but they're often larger/heavier so have to decide whether worth the trade off.

Still using mine with the GH5, I looked at the GH6 but Iâm struggling to justify 2 grand for it. Looking to buy a GH5s for its low light capability, however I feel full frame calling.
Yeah, 2 grand is a lot of money. But the IQ is stunning. Also the features it packs and the lens selection for m43 made me get it. Low light capability is much improved on the gh6 as well.
IMO Full frame is interesting if you need shallower DOF at the same distance, better low light performance, but thatâs where the advantages end, for me and therefore not worth stepping into yet.
I am new to the G9, and I might be wrong, but it seems to me that somewhere in the menu I went past the option to adjust the sensitivity of the autofocus system. I bring this up because you said that this option wasn't available. Please correct me if I am wrong. I found this on the first page of the camera ikon, 5 bars from the top of the page.
Thanks for watching đ You are correct, but it only applies to photo modes. It is not possible to adjust AF sensitivity for video unfortunately.
@@RedFrameTech Oh, yes I see what you mean now. Thank you!
Great video, but micros usb port on a G9???
Yes, thereâs micro usb port on the G9
@@RedFrameTech Yes, you're right. The rare usb micro b 3 is still a micro usb although its size is "maxi". Thanks
I think you failed to mention the 6k video that can be recorded, some of the best footage i have gotten out of the g9...
I didnât mention it, but it is a great feature indeed! I should use it more often
I'm giving a G9 some serious thought as a friend of mine gets better images with her G9 compared to my GH6, especially when we both have the same glass.
I'm hoping that a G9 will be a good camera for astro photography. May I ask if you've done any asrto photography with the G9 and if you were happy with the results.
So far I've not been happy with the results of my GH5 or GH6 because the noise is shocking, and I'm hoping that the G9 will be a big improvement.
I have only one decent astro photo on the Flickr website that I'm happy with shot on my GH6. Its titled "Milky Way over Ribble Head Viaduct". I'm hoping a G9 will do better without having to resort to a full-frame camera and expensive glass.
Happy New Year
Hi Frank! I don't have any experience with astro photography. I would like to try it some time, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
I do however have experience taking photos with both the GH6 and G9 and I really prefer the G9 for that. The images from the G9 are cleaner and it's also a more enjoyable camera for photography.
I'd say the only nice thing about taking photos with the GH6 is the 100MP handheld high res mode it has.
@@RedFrameTech Looks like I will be getting a new toy soon. đ
Cheers
Welcome to the G9 club đ
Could be due to the gh6 packing too many pixels , we saw the same thing happen slightly when brands pack more mpx like in the xt5 or 90d
Did you see that the new G9 II is coming out?? It is freaking unbelievable!!
4K 60 and USB Type C would be the main upgrades I would want.
Do you mean 10 bit 4K 60 internally (cause there is 8bit 4K 60)? That'd be great. And yes, USB-C would be great too!
@@RedFrameTech sorry, I should have been more clear. 10 bit 4K 60 internally would be fantastic

does it crop in 4k/30fps? does it time limit video recording?
Thereâs no crop in any frame rate. Thereâs a 30min limit in 4K/30 and 10min in 4K/60.
Thanks for watching!
@@RedFrameTech thank you for answering. Your video was very encouraging (I am considering GH5ii), but this 30 min limitation is a deal breaker for me
@@wojciechczupta9185 I get around it by using the G9 with an Atomos Ninja V for longer shoots. But the GH5ii is a very capable camera too!
@@RedFrameTech
have you tried out the trick to remove the recording time limit in G9? (permanent service mode or something) does it work in practice? there are youtube videos how to do it - a 1 minute procedure, pressing buttons in specific sequence
@@wojciechczupta9185 I haven't. The camera needs to be on a very old firmware version for that and I always update whenever a new version comes out.
Why the g9 limit recored for 30min? How can I record for more than 30min?
I donât have an answer to the âwhyâ, as thatâs a decision Panasonic made. If you need to record for longer than 30min, an external recorder, like an Atomos Ninja V or Black Magic Video Assist, is a way around it
@@RedFrameTech thank you manâ€â€!
help, help, help. how to remove screen settings lumix g9?
Hi! Not sure what you mean by screen settings..
@@RedFrameTech When I capture video with the camera, the letters that are on the screen are also recorded, it is what I want to remove.
@@josephpodcast thatâs probably because you have Time Stamp Rec set to ON. To turn this off: camera icon menu>time stamp rec>off
Hope it helps!
Canât you do 10bit without atomos
Up to 4K30fps you can. If you want 4K50/60p in 10bit, you need an Atomos
@@RedFrameTech do atomos work on G9
Yes! I use my G9 with an Atomos Ninja V all the time
@@RedFrameTech is there still a record limit time when using a ninja? Thanks
@@scottlester8128 with the ninja thereâs no recording limit, other than the storage capacity on the drive you put in the ninja
Any of you lovely people out there have a way to configure settings for low light settings? If this is a redundant question my b just haven't scrolled very far In the comments lol
Iâm assuming youâre talking video here. I set the ISO limit to 3200. Colour profile usually on Natural, with sharpness, contrast and NR dialed down a bit. Other than that itâs just a matter of using fast lenses and/or adding light.
Sometimes, when thereâs isnât much movement in the frame, Iâll lower the shutter speed for some extra light
I was yes. Thank you
Sony A7s3 can record 4k unlimited without overheating
Yep. Itâs also 4x the price of the G9
@RedFrameTech I like the cheats...Unlimited partđ€Łđ
@@christopherworthington7000 not sure what youâre trying to say.
If you donât like the G9, donât watch the videođ€·ââïž
Could you elaborate on why you find it funny? It is no cheat or hack. Itâs just something you can do for longer recordings đ€·ââïž
@RedFrameTech It's all good, you didn't get the joke...you were talking about how the Sony is more expensive and I was talking about how the price doesn't matter, it's the Unlimited recording without overheating that matters to me
You forgot to mention no 10 bit 422 internal so itâs a CZcams camera oeriod lol anyrhinf professional needs better color depths and grades sir so think what you want I cna shoot on a gh5 stills as well you wouldnât even know the differnc w between a gh5 and g9 but when I record in 10 bit 422 n ur 8bit 420 if that you cna tell the difference period
Thanks for your kind and enlightening comment..
However, if you had watched the whole video youâd know that it does in fact shoot 10bit 422 internally up to 30p. Same as the GH5.
And as far as âprofessionalâ goes; it is as âprofessionalâ as the GH5, whatever that may mean. I have done many professional shoots with it.
I do know the difference very well, as I used a GH5 many times. Both are great cameras. And yes, itâs a great camera for YT as well. So is the GH5.
So, before you post such a comment, do your research, sir..
Any comments? đ
You forgot the 422 10 bit internal apparently
