Here in the USA. They were considered just a glam band. A young teenager group. Something you would hear at the skating rink. And then one day I’m listening to my favorite hard rock station and a song was played and i said who in the world was that ? It was a fantastic hard rock song. When i found out it was the Sweet , well i just couldn’t believe it. So after that i did some investigating and learned what an amazing and talented group they were. They have Black Sabbath sound to them. This video shows just how great they were !!!!

Mil gracias por compartirla Сергей Сало eres un maestro

Their Desolation Boulevard songs and videos from Musikladen really kick ass. I always thought they were kind of a second rate band but boy was I wrong. Right up there with Iron Maiden, Queen, Leppard, Priest.

Who even cares about these popularity contests, they will never recognise raw and pure talent unless it licks their arses. It's the same with Deep purple and prolly many other great bands, who had the "rebel" attitude. I just looked at the list of the 330 inductees, and it's pretty much only bands/artists who made it in america, and a lot of them are not even associated with what most people consider rock music, like Michael Jackson and Tupac. I can't really take it serious at this point.
