Music that never gets old. Great job guys. RIP Mick Brian and Steve xoxo
👍👍👍 Super! 👍👍👍 Einmal Fan immer Fan!🎸🎸🎸👍👍👍🎸🎸🎸👍👍👍🎸🎸🎸👍👍👍
If they had debuted in '81 they'd be huge. The world wasn't ready for Sweet.
They were huge! They sold over 35 million albums worldwide
they were absolutely massive in their own time but i do agree they could have dominated the 80s as well had they stayed harder instead of going the softer route they did later
This is VICIOUS! For 1974, are you kidding me? Sweet were so far ahead of their time.
Could not agree more!
They already in the. 80,s
The bass
About four years later than Deep Purple.
Love this song also, and what a vocal from Brian. The one and only, no one can ever replace you for sure. That's right, without you, it's not Sweet!
It boggles my mind how talented each of these guys were. Really mind blowing. So incredibly hard to believe that they are not in the rock hall of fame. You can hear how they actually influenced other bands that came along later.
Ah Steve is like the coolest ever and Andy reminds me of EVH in this video
Hairstyles too lol
Fuk the rock n roll hall of shame...
They've put in ALL KINDS of groups who wouldn't know rock n roll if it shit on their lawn..That place is about making money, thats it.
They'd put in M n M or fukn Glen camble so long as it made money and the artist or group wouldn't have EVER PLAYED A NOTE OF ROCK N ROLL..F A C T
FUCK the rock n roll hall of fame. They put in a ton of acts who had fuck all to do with ROCK and EXCLUDED A TON OF ACTUALLY TALENTED,WELL KNOWN ROCK ACTS. THEYRE ALL ABOUT WHO PAYING MOST AND WOULDNT KNOW ROCK AND ROLL IF IT SHIT ON THEIR LAWN...
Geil der spielt mit den silberstiefel Gitarre! Ich breche ab hier! Bombe Leute echt!💣 Sagenhaft erste Sahne!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍Die Musik ist so geil, kannste immer hören! my favorite Sweet sound the sweetest sound of that year love it,,,,,,, heavy metal with a dreamlike metal song,,,,, they were in a magic zone there,,, never a band like that ever .... no youtube band,,,,,, raw fresh always sounds new
This Band is way underrated!! Excellent musicians.
Sweet should be in the rock and roll Hall of Fame! Long Sweet forever! 🎤🎵🎸🎶🥁
Sorry, they had to make room for Joan Jett, Tupac shakur, and others first
The RRHofShame ain’t good enough for them
SWEET FA
@@UnitedSoundVideo that says it all. It's our little secret.
They should demolish the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and replace it with huge statues of the Sweet...
It means nothing to Brits, like the fake pyramids of Vegas.

Sweet F A ,one great Sweet song, amazing at the time and now and forever. Kings of Glam!
The most underrated rock bands ever, ahead of the game never got the credit they deserved
Agree agree !!!!
Sie waren schon ziemlich erfolgreich, bekannt & anerkannt, also wat Sie schreiben ist Schwachsinn
Nur dit immerselbe Blablabla
They should been more into heavier rock after their greatest album from -74. After Fanny Adams came Boulevard, then they lost it.
They definitely were big stars in the seventies. They could have been more than a teenie band, that is true. They really could handle their guitars.
It's not hard to tell this band completely went over some people's heads back in the day lol. They were absolutely mind blowing sounding that heavy in the early/mid 70's.
Andy Scott is one of the most underrated guitar players ever! Blistering glam!
Yes he is.He is amazing some of the things he can play
Everyone, hear me out. THIS IS HEAVY METAL!!! Sweet were more than just an average rock band. They were pioneers of Metal. They were right up there with Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeplin, and Judas Priest.
I kinda hear a Blackmore fire in that lead/solo at the end
I hear. Ritchie. too
If you didn't know this was Sweet, people would think it was Deep Purple. Once Sweet gained more freedom to make their own music, they became an excellent hard rock band. Sadly some people think it was allWig Wam Bam and Little Willy
It's true, Meow ! ...Sweet F.A. and No Ya Don't
yeah, some people couldn't see past the glam...
Absolutely brilliant band..love hearing that bass line by Steve Priest. Love The Sweet
Amazing musicians sweet where, for 70s glam band, well impressed
You listen to "Love is like oxygen" and then "Sweet F.A." and you'd swear it was too different bands. Both excellent!
Add a song like "Coco" into the mix and you make it seem like three different bands. 😁
@@rocknrollkissfan add in Jeanie or California nights you’d think it was four
That's what separates great bands from the others. They evolved
@@randyr5328 I mean the Beatles didn’t really evolve
Beatles are the prime example of evolving
This album beats most of the well known popular "classic" metal & hard rock albums of the 70's
I adore this track! Sweet Fanny Adams (1974), the best album Sweet ever! A masterpiece!!!
I love how they appreciated & respected each other’s talent and skill! Such a joy to listen to all these years.
This was Sweet at the top of their game. Sweet Fanny Adams is one of the great hard rock albums of the 70s and a huge influence on me. Sheer brilliance.
Agree. This album is fantastic for me long time ago & now.
Toller rockiger Song 👍👍👍👍
They were the start!
Great hard rock album ever.
Fucking right sweet was a badass band my favorite song sweet fa
Fanny Adams is one of the best hard rock albums of all time!
I've seen your coments in many music videos specially in prog tunes......Nice to see you here my ethereal friend.........
@@brunovallesmunoz4757 good to see you too my friend!
R.I.P Steve, now you are with Brian and Mick ❤️❤️❤️
What an awesome vocalist Brian Connolly! No one has ever been able to fully replace it: without it, “Sweet” is not “Sweet” !!! R.I.P. Brian...
Amen! Agree 100%!
Cut From the Rest and Identify Crisis are among their best records
You can feel the joy and power, hear and see it! It is absolutely super!!❤ what a band! ❤
I loved these guys and everyone thought I was a freak back in the day. Still absolutely love them!! 🔥🤘
Yeah. My pals back in the day laughed at me when I said I was a Sweet fan. Always banging on about Purple, Sabbath or Clapton. I loved them too but I was and still am a Sweet fan.. This track kicks ass big time and there were many more as well
I used to come home from school and blast Sweet on the stereo till my dad got home after work.
I saw them open for Kiss and my mind was blown. One of my favorite bands ever!!! They gave Kiss a run for the money big time!
R.I.P. Steve Priest...Mick Tucker...Brian Connolly.
i am 60 were is the time gone im sweet fan from 1972
Holy shit only one of the band is still alive. Thats horrible. Which one is living
@@johnnymfan5065 Andy Scott(guitarist) is the only surviving Sweet member.
And thanks!♡♡♡

Criminally underrated by so many, what a GREAT band! \m/
My first vinyl album in 1974 was Sweet FA. Still love it today!
Mick was so energetic, non stop playing the drum. Great performance.
I love Steve and Andy interacting with their instruments, along Mick with a smile and Brian with his amazing voice, man these guys are Gods....
As a teenager Sweet were Gods to me and I worshipped the church of Sweet!!! 🎸🙏❤💋😎
Mick looked like he was really enjoying the moment during their Musicladen appearance. The other performances that they did on this show especially on the song " No you don't " he was smiling as well. He really looked like he was having fun up there performing and the joy was evident. As far as I'm concerned they all really shined in this appearance. THEY threw down & shed the notion & image that they were merely a bubble gum pop band who were Chinn & Chapman puppets.
@@jonbenjisnomore7935 Few rock stars conveyed joy as much as Mick Tucker. The man radiated happiness. Rest In Peace dear Mick. Forever in our hearts.
My god it’s mimed you do realize right?
Very underrated one of the best bands of all time absolutely ahead of their time am so grateful for their music and the shear joy they played with Rip Brian, Mick, and Steve. Rock on Andy😊
SWEET is inducted in my rock and roll hall of fame!
Such good musicians. Nothing coming up to replace these true stars and icons. So so sad that Brian, Steve and Mick are gone.
Rest in peace all♥️♥️♥️
How deliciously good is this! Such fun to see how much fun they are having themselves. Love them so much. And that bass and those drums are nothing short of orgasmic!❤🤩🥰
Mick Tucker the Greatest
Absolutely!
One of the best things bout growin' up in the far north of MN in the '60s and '70s was all we had was the radio, vinyl or casettes we didn't know glam rock from hard rock from... it was ALL ROCK! We got the music not the silly costumes, and Sweet kicked ass right up there with the best! RIP Steve Priest and thank you boys for some really kick-ass songs!
Love You Brian Connolly and sweet forever!! 💕💕🇧🇷🇧🇷
What a singer. Brian has a killer voice. the whole band was great
Sweet Fanny Adams: The absolut best Sweet LP, I bought it 1974, and still I have it!
Absolutely fantastic! Full-on metal riff.🤘🎸 Superb rhythm section as always and Brian's great voice. Just a great band. '70s rock rules!🤘
I say this as a compliment that Sweet was Spinal Tap. It was pure authentic rock that was fun, surprisingly sophisticated at times, pompous at times but still in a fun way, over the top and at the end of the day out of this world
These guys were such GREAT musicians and tight and polished live. RIP Brian, Mick and now Steve :)
Been to concert by them in Scandinavium so good on stage the songs came in my mind after the concert a week after seen them must say Bravissimo ☆☆☆☆☆
Wow you were lucky to see then
⚡This never gets old⚡
Here's a 36 brazilian guy that grow up listening tese guys, because his father simply Love them! And now, me too!!
I was listening to SWEET when I was 16 years old...I'm turning 60 in July and still listening to them
CRAZY 🤪
This song is fantastic. At first I was bummed when I didn't see Brian and then there he was. They are all so excellent. Andy is fantastic on guitar. Steve is great on bass and Mick just tears it up on drums. These 4 guys made magic over and over. They were far beyond their years. I will always love the Sweet. R.I.P. Brian and Mick....two angels flying too close to the ground and heaven decided to bring them back home to play in the band in the sky.
They were happy...

So blessed to have grew up in the best generation ever wish i could go back in Time ✌
The 70s were bad ASS .
1974, I was a 12 yr old Aussie born girl of Greek immigrant parents, and grew up on the music of the greatest Greek singers and Dean Martin, Tom Jones, Doris Day, Shirley Bassey. Then, SWEET came along with Fox On The Run, Ballroom Blitz, and Action. Now I'm 61 yrs old and this retired University Librarian wench, still LOVES to crank up music by the legendary SWEET, such an underrated band, with four extremely talented guys, which were sadly beset by bad luck. Mick Tucker is the GREATEST and hottest drummer ever, next to Queen's Roger Taylor. And the unforgettable Queen and Thin Lizzy were my other faves. The voices of the 3 late, greats Brian Connolly, Freddie Mercury and Phil Lynott, were AMAZING. I'm so grateful I grew up with the very BEST music from the 70's and 80's; with Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Rolling Stones. As for women, no one could surpass the phenomenal, Linda Ronstadt, Gloria Gaynor, Donna Summer, Stevie Nicks, Tina Turner and many more.
My big brother had desolation boulevard I loved ever song!
One of my favorite band of the 70's. And Still......
My favorite band of all time. The Sixteens being my favorite song of all time. Long live The Sweet !!.
for me the best track of the album Mick the best drummer ever Andy and Steve pure class Brian genius vocals
As a teen, I loved their high energy rebellious songs; Fox on the run, Action, Blockbuster, Teenage Rampage I still get goosebumps when they come on.
RIP Steve Priest..amazing bassist and talent
I think a lot of heavy metal bands were influenced by the Sweet, they just don't admit it!!!
hard to admit it probably. i dig them quite a bit too, it's just incredible how glam they looked but they played hard as hell
Quite a number of the 1980s big hair bands have admitted that they were influenced by Sweet. Def Leppard is definitely one of them.
@@glamgal7106 oh i believe it, theirs no questions they were heavy
Def Leppard are Sweet fans, remember their video of 'Rocket' and they made that fantastic cover of 'Action'
Motley Crue & Def Leppard were influenced by The Sweet!!!
These musicians definitely complimented each other musically and vocally!!!!! Wow!!!!
Sweet FA, what a track! Still can’t keep my eyes and ears off of Micks amazing drumming.👍🥁
All I ever heard from Sweet when I was young was the usual Ballroom Blitz. I had no idea they played like this. Really an eye opener to their true talent. Fantastic.
Ballroom Blitz is the best song of the 70s,-- the unique Sweet's style , hard rock of Sweet sounds ordinary like other similar bands.
Go, Chris. Obviously You are real rock and roll boy
@Chris Blythe
Give a listen to some of they're harder stuff like "Set Me Free" off of D.B.
@@hgpiiihgp Set me Free was on the album Sweet Fanny Adams. Desolation Boulevard U.S. version is a compilation off the both European versions.

Mick Tucker - great drummer!
You're right, man, for the 70s, he threshed like a god.
Yes Mick was a superb drummer - and he was probably the best looking drummer in rock and pop history too!
Agreed! I didn't realize until recently how good he was. Tricky song to drum to this track.
@@HarryWebb46 @0:34 Mick lost the Stick on his Left (snare) Hand... Grabs a New one as fast as lightning and does NOT miss 1 hit... Pay attention to that .. Remember this was played Live !!
@@Hanzey1966 I have done it too! Once you do it once it plays on your mind and you keep doing it until you can figure out a way to bypass that mental program. I know from bitter experience! That does not mean he was not a really good, overlooked and under appreciated drummer. He certainty was!
Wow !! Terrific ! RIP Brian,Steve,Mick...
The musicianship in this band is out of this world, they were rocking long before a lot of the other bands but they never get a mention. Criminal
WOW! they were so ahead of their time I could watch them all day Mick was a fantastic drummer he was always my favourite.

The best period of Sweet, the Hard Rock era.
