One of my favorite songs! Once going through my parents' records, in 1986 or 87, I found a vinyl Rainbow, an album Down to Earth.... love for life! I'm 50 now!) Long live rock n' roll ! 🤘😎
Awesome band . Cozy Powell [R.I.P.] on drums, Roger Glover on bass, Richie Blackmoore on the six string and the incomparable Graham Bonnet providing the vocals
Keyboard player I believe was Tony Carey, he went solo after leaving Rainbow and in 1984 released his most popular works "A fine fine day for a reunion"
Моя любимая хард роковая группа слушал в юности сейчас мне 62 продолжаю слушать эти композиции бессмертны а какие вокалисты были в Рейбоу все супер Дио Тернер Бонем все легенды хард рока ну а Дио это вообще космос
Chart rock won't ever get better than this, GB is one of the top 5 rock singers of all time singing in a band of superb musicians. It doesn't and will not get better than this..still sounds as good as it did back in the day...
Graham is a totally different animal when he is performing. One of the Great Rock singers and with Ritchie Blackmore on lead guitar and Cosy Powell on drums what a joy.
Sabbath, Rainbow, Deep Purple, Zeppelin, ACDC...all the music I listened to as a kid in the 70s and early 80's through my mum and dad blasting it through our ground floor flat. I love all different kinds of music now but rock, especially heavy, takes me back to happy times.. I think this man was my first crush too..haha
Bought that on 7" with my pocket money. Probably still in my mother's house tucked away in the corner of the attic . All night long and Since youve been gone from the same album are 'probably' 🌈's greatest commercial success!
When my mother died of cancer 12 years ago-just before she departed she said this song most reminded her of me-played it non stop as a kid so I put down to earth album in with her when she went. Just about the hardest experience of my life in every way-but at least she’s got some of the best rock of all time to take her into the next life❤️
One of my favorite frontman voices ever. Can't believe i never seen this till now, or at least don't recall seeing it. But it really is the whole package, the group, the backing vocals everything.
I thought it was so cool back in the day the lead singer looks like a clean cut banker but he sings his ass off to what I would consider a heavy metal song, when all the other bands' lead singers had long hair.
Remember seeing this on Tiswas , unbelievable. Bonnet looked so cool and seeing him perform this in Manchester 2022 brought tears to my eyes , what an absolute legend
...Music band " Rainbow " is one of my favorite music bands too, and Ritchie Blackmore as one of the best music/ songwriters, guitarists, " Rainbow " has really great compositions...
Love the Graham growl!! What a GREAT voice. One of my favorites 🎉.. The speed on this version is tweaked up a bit faster. Like the one with the girl dancing more. Showcases his voice better..
Im an 80s kid and to be honest was raised by a legendary mammy got me all into this as did my sister and considering how music is these days im freaking glad and proud of it 😊😊😊😊😊
A lot of times people talk about the real top class vocalists/singers making it 'look effortless'. Sure - agreed. But when it comes to Graham Bonnet I can see and almost FEEL the effort and it's amazing! Great version thanks for posting (all those years ago LOL)
And is not a Gibson SG ( like Iommi ) and a Gibson Les Paul like Jimmy Page,so Ritchie Blackmore inspired on Jimi Hendrix get the Stratocaster whammy techniques and also he before was to a club and the jazz guitar player use the whammy bar and maybe Beck influenced with the Stratocaster and the slide .
The 70's and 80's were a time with damn good music. Anyone who was there knows what I mean.
We were spoiled with amazing music in those decades!
I miss it.
I remember the first time I heard this, I think it was TOTP and I thought who the fuck’s he? Heard him sing, Then went out and bought the single
@@SilverSniffer Yup, I feel the same way....

He's still rocking at 75 years old , the band are absolutely legendary.
I seen that.
Graham bonnet band was just in Kuopio👌very good setlist🎸🌱
Damn , this was such a classic lineup, really wish they put more albums out with this group of great musicians
No one could sing this like Graham bonet
Bonnet's vocals, Richie's guitar and Cozy on drums- priceless.
and Roger Glover on Bass....maybe one of the best
aye
Priceless. No doubt. The interplay between keys and guitar makes it for me. Unfortunately, younger guys don't know who they are
После 1976 уже не то.
Стал стиль более слащавым,менее роковым.
Не стало Рони..
And Roger Glover and Don Airey! Best lineup ever!
Graham Bonnett hands down one of the best vocalists, then and now.
No Drummer has ever looked or will ever look as cool as Cozy Powell R.I.P. 🙏🏽
Powell ? One of the greatest drummers of all time
trust me bonam from lez zepplin will piss over everyone

Some of Ritchie's best playing 🎸
