      Hey there, the image won't look fisheye if you set the camera's field of view to the medium setting like mentioned at 2:39 in the video, you'll lose the fisheye look. You can also look into some simple camcorders for a similar price if you want something with a variable zoom: www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1308395-REG/canon_1960c002_vixia_hf_r800_camcorder.html

      @@BoxCast Thanks for the reply.
      I use OBS Studio through Elgato camlink or HD60s.
      The image isn't fuzzy, just not crisp.
      It may just be a wireless issue.
      It is good enough for the stream but if I want to use the recording from OBS, it needs a bit of post work.

    • @dugsbugs1
      @dugsbugs1 Před 2 lety

      @@BoxCast With that camera I'm not sure because I only take the recording from OBS.
      It is possibly a bitrate issue because some results are better than others but my wifi isn't always good enough to push the level up but when I'm getting good upload speed, it seems to be better.
      Most of the later gopro's don't allow hdmi output and record at the same time.

      - 4K60 or 4K120
      - Even better stabilization _(perhaps a mix of digital and optical)_
      - Better sensor, so better low light performance
      - Waterproof up to 5m without a diving box, and up to 60m with the diving box
      - Bigger screen, full colour, for video preview. Bonus if it is actually a swivel screen!
      - Same or similar form factor and shape
      - More colours! Not just white, but Black, Blue, Purple, Red, Orange, Green, etc - more variety = more personality
      Also, as the FDR X3000 is also used extensively as a livestreaming camera, they could create a system similar to Logitech's Mevo Start - Podcast & Livestream-ready devices would be *_GRAND_* on top of being action cameras and tiny camcorders - a 3-in-one combo!
