How did such a huge ABANDONED house become this bad in 10 years
VloĆŸit
- Äas pĆidĂĄn 4. 09. 2021
- The original house was built in 1777 near the site of a huge battle between the Scottish and the English, some have said they still hear the pipes and drums in the distance! The now Abandoned hall was later upgraded in the 1870s and had many uses including a war hospital, a hotel and was even owned by the YMCA!
Come with Matt and Andy to see how much this place has gone to rack and ruin in just 9 years!

But that's one of the reasons why I like watching your videos because you do stop and look at things like a door. And you are so right it isn't "just a door", it's so much more. Just like the building, isn't "just an old building", it's a story.
Agree strongly !!
My thoughts exactly
Matt, you are not alone when it comes to doors and the frames around them. I love them beefy double arch doors!
Matt's excitement and appreciation of architecture and antique fittings is very refreshing.
Just 9 years with all of that damage, destruction?! That pigeon and bat have explaining to do!
đđđ little shits
Way to early to đ€Ł here! Lol The splendid windows, amazing arched doorways, fireplaces was fantastic! Loved to have walked it in itâs day!! Great one as always!!!
â€ïžâ€ïž
I love old bricks, and doors. The craftsmen that made these things had pride in their work and its such a shame that people go in and destroy it, without a thought. Our past is so important. Always sad to see old buildings crumbling. So pleased you have captured it all on camera before its gone. By the way, don't worry about pigeons, worry about pigeon flies. Horrible bloodsucking critters. đ±
Donât mention sucking to andy ⊠He will get the wrong idea and purchase some pigeon flies
It's been there since the 1770's and destroyed in 9 years that's unbelievable, I will never understand the need to vandalize and destroy any building especially one with so much history. Great video, Thanks for sharing Stay Safe
â€ïžâ€ïž
Thank you for showing us another amazing building, I love the way you show us all the little details that other people miss xx
Thank you x
The orangery would have been stunning. Wish someone would save this stunning building
.
You mean to say that pidgeony bastard is Andy's spirit animal?

@@FINDERSBEEPERS Next idea for some march dude đ
Grand building. bet it was something in its day. somethings in it are so historic. like the doors, the fireplaces. Hope some one can revive it. Good content. All the best to you and Andy.
It looks seems like you all run into rain on so many of your explores. You two make a great duo! Are you friends outside of the exploring? You two really play off each other. â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
That door is a thing of beauty. I understand why you get so passionate about it..
Thankyou for sharing guys .
You're personalities bounce off each other , love how you are both so respectful too properties you find. I'm recently new too you're channel so thankyou .
Wow what an amazing place this is, you're right it is such a shame that it's been left, I don't understand why the owner can do stuff to the land bit leave the building to rot, think how amazing this place would be if was restored to it's original state
Would love to see it
LOL WTF did I just hear from Andy? haha bloody Legends both of you! :)
Hi mate how the devil are you? You are my bit of rough man crush đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł. Love your channel pity you couldnât make it last night. You didnât miss much apart from my pretty face.
9 hour round trip for nowt lol
You scare the heck out of me climbing up on that roof.. Omg!!! That place is so grand!!! Itâs a shame it has been vandalized.. stay safe and keep up the great exploring!! Love you guys!!!
At least Iâm not massively fat and put myself at risk of falling throughâŠ. Oh ⊠wait!!
Planning went in a couple of months back for this to become a hotel again but nothing has happened since. My friend got married here in 2005 and it was lovely then.
That place has seen some historical moments at its time .. must of been spookie at that time of the night đ I enjoyed watching .. like always ! đŻđđđđ
â€ïžâ€ïž
What an interesting building with doors that were there but weren't anymore. That roof was dodgy so you were brave stepping on it. Xxx
The flowers are crocosmia Lucifer. Iâve tried to get those to survive in my garden here, but sadly our winters are just too harsh. âčïž
Great video, as always, gents! đ
Always look forward to the new explore on a Sunday đ
Mum said those flowers are called "Watsonia". Great video lads! đ
â€ïžâ€ïž
Wow what a great place. The photos of how it used to look are amazing. Thank you for including them.x
â€ïžâ€ïž
Flowers are Crocosmia.
â€ïžâ€ïž
Iâm Andyâs age so itâs Play School that we would remember đ€Ł Another great find, but again such a shame that twats have the need to destroy these places đ€Šââïžđ€Ź
â€ïžâ€ïž
I wonder how much damage is done to the roof after walking on it? Smh!
Hello, my friends! You two are so entertaining, and very adorable-- (each in your own unique ways.)
Cheers!đ§Ąđ
Wow thatâs a pretty cool building! Very strange the way itâs laid out, with the archways in places where they donât belong or where they once were. I do love all the meticulous woodwork on the door, and then the door frames. I am just now catching up on a few of your episodes. Yâall take care!
I just found your channel and my 1st video I watched was the Island in Poveglia. I love your friendship and the bantering. Subbed within the first 5 minutes. Looking forward to exploring with you two.
đđ really glad you are enjoying! Donât forget to check out our second channel beeper beef
You guys need to invest in red lens flashlights at least. From outside with you 2 walking with bright torches is a dead giveaway
I could have sworn you guys visited this place awhile ago. Still very interesting, but idiots have ruined it by fire and water. Such a sad state it has been allowed to fall into. Given the battle this place commemorates, I'm really saddened the local council has let the place turn into mush. Maybe they just want to let it rot, so they can sink a stone in the ground as it's tombstone.
shame to see the piano in that state. wish i could go back, see you guys did make it to the place ;)
Love watching these two cheer me up !!
WOW such an amazing place! Loved the photos you included!! In a perfect world all old buildings would be maintained, especially ones with historical status.
Agreed
Curios to know how you two got together, you make such a brilliant team. Did you know each other like being school mates ? Love watching you two your antics make me laugh, such great explores
Andy on one of your outings closer to home it would be great if you could scout ahead and fill a void Matt would be curious enough to explore. When the door opened buttons came tumbling out. Lol
Great video the Orangery would have been incredible in itâs time as with the rest of the building.
I'm very late watching because I tested positive for Covid and I'm still feeling like warmed up shit.
Great video xx
Another great explore fellas! a real shame it's just decaying like that. BTW Matt it was definitely play school that looked through the round window lol! stay safe great job.
Search play days /play bus

The piano was very interesting did you know that Marshall and Rose are considered to be the very best British pianos ever made? In fact they are known amongst piano tuners as the British Steinway?
What a beautiful mansion.. places like this need saving! And what really really is annoying is graffiti and vandalism pees me right off!!well-done you love you both so effin funny đ€ŁđBrilliant!! X X đŽó §ó ąó ·ó Źó łó ż
All the stone masonry work, back in those days they risked their life's lifting them into place. Not having the equipment like today
Talk about risk life and limb! Such a good explore guys .I love they way you examine all the small details. Thanks again .
Great explore, beautiful building
â€ïžâ€ïž
Matt you are just like me you look for changes in brickwork, see arches & possible doors & wonder what it was all like before, I love old properties so much they have so much character, so many stories to tell, working 32 years in the construction industry gets me scanning every building I see lol.
I think this videos helped to inspire me buy an antic clock today at a garage-sell . Now I have to get it up on a wall. And it is not a small one.
â€ïžâ€ïž đ°
Yes! Always great to see another Beepers vid is on its way.
great video
Andy, Iâm surprised you didnât comment on Mattâs tush since he always mentions you little tush! đđđ. Matt, you are the biggest risk taker Iâve ever known. đŹđŹđŹ
Such a shame to see the graffiti inside. Was no graffiti when I went. Amazing place lads.thereâs log cabins at the back of this place and a bar. So shouting probly from there.
Makes sense
I bet back in the day this building was amazing loved it thanks for sharing guys take care đ †x
Thx guys đ Great explore đđ
â€ïžâ€ïž
You are both so entertaining, love your explores đđčđ·
Love you guys. No explorers like you.
Thank for a great laugh today. Just what I needed.
Playschool had the round window... Playdays had the bus and a Welsh parrot and a climbing frame at one of the stops.
Brilliant! Love you guys
Love you too
Just keep doing what you do. It is really appreciated x
Such a shame its a ruin, interesting building.
In the cellar, with the wire area and the wooden structure, it's for wine, & it's wired off to stop people from pinching it.
11:44 That's not Satanism, it's just tarot cards! đ
But yes, absolutely agree with you on vandalising for the sake of vandalising. It makes me fume. Especially places like that.
PS- You should make a shirt saying: "Wha a shame" đđ
I love the special door too lolol
Could be a ârelieving archâ behind the fireplace. Used to help support the wall above.
Marshall and Rose are considered among the very best British pianos ever made. ÂŁ3,900.00
I'm terrified of heights đ« and watching you climb about and leaning over the sides and looking down scares the bejeebers out of me . Be careful
Iâll make sure I go closer to the edge next time for you đđ
I am surprised that you never got Andy to slide down the banister,
did you notice the archway as you walked back in from outside...plus the bricked up window to your right?
Could that have been the continuation of the archway maybe?
Ah maybe
Looks like a bidet?!
At that height up the wall??!
I'd hate to have to use the bathroom after you! đ€ąđ€ź
đđđ
Cant wait looking forward to it xxxxx
Such a shame to see a stunning building go to ruin
Playdays was a kids programme in the 80's/90's that was a bus. That took over from the tv programme playschool
It is definitely play days however if you google play bus loads of videos come up showing play days âŠ

Think the arch around the fire place might have been from an old tudor style fire place for cooking with access from both sides...not sure thou..it would explain the chimney
I always watch when having a poo đ©
That's a fair long shite you have sir .well done!
đ€Łđ€Ł thanks for sharing
Sarcasm was on point tonight! đ
đđđ
they use the ramps to wheel barrow stuff out the window.
This looks to me like a Hotel that has Renovations started.
The aria was used as a wine storage space. It was caged in for security so no one could steal the wine. Obviously there was a door with a padlock. I think I seen the padlock in the vidio.
"TINKLE" that bell icon!! đ
â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Think the kids show with the âshaped windowsâ was PlayschoolâŠ. Never heard of Playbus.
Play bus was 90s and 2thousands I think
3 minutes in and y'all got me laughing. Gonna be a good one I think. Well, to be fair all your videos are good lol.

Love it! Especially seeing how it used to look - interesting comparison. Highlighted quote "Who wanks in the bath?" "I do" - haha love you both

the X shaped things in the cellar are definitely for wine...it would be placed in, in pyramid shapes.
Looks quite cool if done properly l...which, that appeared not to have been đ

Actually what you see in the seller the big crosses of wood when you said itâs not for wine it actually is just a cheaper way of stacking wine đ
