- This abandoned hotel has stood on this spot for 150 years, But the owners decided it needed to move with the times and tried to modernise it! Not only has it had its heart ripped out, It’s now hard it burnt out too! Come and explore with Matt and Andy and see what is left of this one is grand building

Lazy Susan is a circular turn table to pass food around the table. A good way to remember is Susan is being Lazy (hence not physically passing anything). Hope this helps.
Loving the videos and how you talk about things normally not shared. A Lazy Susan is a turntable (rotating tray) placed on a table, countertop or sometimes in corner kitchen cabinetry to aid in distributing food.

Certain online hotel booking sites are still offering rooms here, not sure if it was due to reopen before the fire, but f.y.i - the rooms are £41 so not far off with your estimate. 😁 - Just done a bit more digging, after originaly loosing it's licence it changed owners and re-opened. It had to close it's doors like most licenced and hospitality venues due to the Covid pandemic, but I assume was getting ready to re-open as restrictions were lifted. It was definitely not an abandoned building, although the fire may well of changed all that now. There is a current police investigation in progress regarding the arson and I would assume one from the insurers too (making the site an active crime scene). Hope you guys dont get into trouble for this one considering it was an active (although temporarily closed due to Covid) business and not your usual derp, as recently as January this year hotel staff inspecting and preparing the hotel disturbed burglars at the property.

I think I found a lot of it on newspaper websites if I remember correctly. I don't know the current status of the building. Thanks for your comment. Take care and keep smiling. Dave.

The fire was recent. According to news reports it happened on the 2nd of this month (April) and there were signs of forced entry. It's no wonder the neighbour was angry after only weeks before arsonists had set the place alight. Hard to tell how far the neighbours house was from the hotel in your video, but it looks close enough that if the fire had spread further it could of put the neighbours property and more importantly, his life in danger.
