Why was this ABANDONED 1700s Admirals Manor House so creepy?

- Driving down single track roads in the dead of night through a storm, Matt and Andy finally arrive at a very grand abandoned and spooky Manor House high on a hill above the Welsh coastline, The rain poured down as the Middle-aged Ninjas climbed in through a second-story window of this Napoleonic era mansion once owned by one of the very men who sank yet survived on the doomed ship “The invincible” and fought alongside Horatio Nelson himself!
This imposing home had many uses over the years and was redesigned in the 1800 but as if the house was cursed to tragedy, the designer died mysteriously before the redesign was finished! But is this place haunted? You decide!
Come inside and see what this once proud building has now become... and listen to what goes BUMP in the night!

@@FINDERSBEEPERS question, with the structure upstairs and the period the building is frim is there a chance that it was used as a workhouse at some point in time? The upstairs reminds me of the work house clothes wash rooms, big vat of vlboiling water with vents for the steam?? Just an idea

I know this video is 3 years old, but I just loved watching it. I have had some hard days this past month since my mother passed away, and a lot of time on my hands as a recently retired person. I just discovered FBHS this year (being a retired person, with more time on my hands, you know), and I really wish I could have been in the Beeper Army for longer. While I sat with my mom in her final couple of months, I watched a lot of FBHS videos with her, and I just want Matt to know that I find his work BRILLIANT and refreshing. I don't know how much my mother could comprehend of what we watched, but she did like Matt's voice. She said she wish she could invite him to dinner sometime.
The intro reminded me of a queen video , then shortly after andy started singing under pressure! 😂 . Glad your back exploring, love your Sunday uploads 👍🏻
Amazing creepy location! Loved it. Matt sees a fireplace and it was like a kid at Christmas, and poor Andy looked so spooked at that big bang that I wanted to hug him through my computer and tell him it's going to be ok. LOL
I think he would’ve taken that hug he was genuinely worried

Paranormal or not, we all have that inner gut feeling that tells us something is not right...like the feeling of being watched, or a HEAVY feeling in the air, like being weighed down, usually in the paranormal field means something Malevolent is within the same space as you...or watching you from near by...Feeling weighed down/ Oppressive is a classic sign of a negative presence...

The style of brickwork used to build the house is known as Flemish Bond. The later infill brickwork is called Stretcher Bond used over archways and other work, but no attempt was made in keeping with the existing style. Great video. Cheers.

You feel pressure cause that place is very haunted. Probably some of the reason you were feeling so tired in the beginning? I have seen a scary one there. I think all of the UK is pretty haunted! I don't know if I could do what you guys do. I love hearing your accent for one thing!! Also this place was huge and I was asking the same thing you guys were about the strangeness of the rooms and why it looked like they changed the rooms. It was pretty neat though.
Very strange place
I saw this explore on another channel and that black doll on top of the fridge hit the back of one of their legs at the other end of that floor.
On that really cool wooden bench ,it might be inlaid with abalone shell. It looks like mother of pearl,with a whiter radiation to the colors. Love the video,what a absolutely amazing ,but confusing place. I would of been creeped out just because of how twisty and weird the “floor plan”was. Thanks again for all the hard work! 🤓🤓🤓

About the Chinese furnitures, I think its rosewood, I have some old similar furniture with mother of Pearl's and abalone inlay, love this lovely building, shame it's not kept in good condition 😥

I reckon the vents were for ventilation when the building had gas lighting. I lived in a Victorian house and the ceiling rose had vents for the gas fumes.

The direction of a Barley Twist can actually indicate as to how old the piece is.
I was told while going round a National Trust property that they could only do them in one direction for a long time... unfortunately, I can't find much about it online though

@@FINDERSBEEPERS I know what you mean. But in my 50 years of life I'm teaching myself not to really care about what others think or say about me. No matter what....will always be those who bitch about something. Have you ever considered having a psychic empath/intuitive join you guys on any trips? Reason I ask is cause I am one. I pick up peoples energies and emotions as they are my own. Going into homes or buildings I get a strong sense of the energy within the walls. Eg. If I enter a home where abuse was present, I pick up both the anger of the abuser and sadness n fear of the victim. This happened when I was house hunting years ago. Also if there is a spirit hanging about, I will know. Friendly or negative to. There's a saying "never purchase a home without 1st having a empath walk through it."
