At #9:23 the thing you thought was a Pesal and morter, is a church Font, for holding holy water,
And the wooden stand is the holder of the stone part,
Those slots actually locate the stone part in place,
Someone has removed it from the base for some reason, and by the looks of the damaged side lug, dropped it whilst doing so,
But they do go together if you lift the stone bowl into the top of the wooden plinth 🙂👍🏻
#15:15 when you wondered about the wood inset into the brickwork around the room,
That's how they fastened the wood paneling around the rooms,
In the first large room you went in, it still had the paneling around the walls,
Well in this one it's sadly been robbed out,
Leaving only the fixing battens in place in the brickwork showing it once had been there 👍🏻
And the doors you think were bricked up,
Are actually where there would have been cupboards sunken into the wood paneling 🙂👍🏻
The arches above the door frames wouldn't have been opened up all the way, they are load bearing features,
An arch is used to spread the weight of the walls above to relieve the weight and stress put onto the doors upper framework,
A straight beam across the top of the door isn't very strong, and will bow with time, so an arch is put above them to relive the weight stress being put on the frame 🙂👍🏻

It's quite intriguing to me trying to get into the minds of people and why they built things the way they did back in the day, I mean arches are load bearing and I presume they were used so after the wooden lintels rot they can be replaced without compromising the integrity of what's above. They obviously didn't have acrows in those days.

This is a cracking video lads. A bit different than your normal ones, with the paranormal thrown in. Poor Andy has been possessed by a demon and will be going through an exorcism in a short while, with Matt on the camera shouting "go on lad give it some welly".

Looks like the wood panelling was stolen. Bricked up doors are probably bookshelves/ cupboards.

This place was only abandoned in 1990, but some of the building is Victorian or even earlier.

At the 23:00 point and after, you have stumbled onto Dark Arts TV's Dybbuk Box in the "Pentagram". He and others have been there numerous times, and specifically where you are now. You can check out his vids to see what they do, and catch on camera right where you are. It WILL make you a believer!!! That place is very, very haunted, thus Andy's scalp tingling. I think when he said something crawled in his ear, that something was messing with him.
I bet that room was where they had to get ready for company like family and had to dress them according to the Family preferences? And the orange were to meet social workers or for the temporary cases. Ones that needed to find the mixtures of medications. It pays to have 2 social workers in my family huh?

I have seen a couple of different videos from there and that place does seem to be haunted. Just my personal opinion. I watched one from Dark Arts Paranormal and there were a lot of different noises caught and a shadow person. Freaky!!! I totally understand why you became on edge after hearing the different things you guys heard. I don't know why people draw pentigrams and leave those stupid haunted boxes lying around. There is probably enough bad juju in that place without stirring things up more. If I'm not wrong a lot of terrible stuff happened there. I mean, a mental asylum, and a prisoner of war building, wouldn't you think that would of been enough ugly crap for starters? Stay safe you to. Tell Andy to spit that demon out!! He surely doesn't want to take that thing home to the misses.....or does he? Lol....I absolutely love watching the two of you doing these explores and I really don't want o watch Andy's head spinning around and him spewing out green pea soup! Love you both loads!!!!!
