I have a 2015 Polo 6C TSI 1.2 Highline and there is the Oil level/temp sensor in the sump but nothing is connected? No plug to plug into the sensor? I've got temp readings showing up on the dash though??

Is that oil or coolant temp showing on the dash ?

@@screwsnutsandbolts I believe its coolant temp now that you mention it. I have no option to check oil quantity from the dash only the dipstick but I wonder if it should monitor the oil pressure which it probably is not doing since its not plugged in. I have no fault codes on the OBD 2

There should be a separate oil pressure sensor on the engine block like this: czcams.com/video/ldQ0Kmx4BOw/video.html

I wonder… you say oil sensor and ‘temp’ sensor…. Is this the oil temp sensor??? I think it only read oil when it is to low.

    • @screwsnutsandbolts

This is both the oil level and oil temperature sensor combined.

@@screwsnutsandbolts really? Because i have kufatec emf module and the oil temp reading is only 44c or 55c Do you think its defect ? Or do i have to look something else
