    Last step add oil to engine!!! Might be a good idea to mention you need to fill the engine with oil after the sensor is back in! Don’t want to forget that before starting the car

    My golf has started with this warning lifht when turned on, after I flew over a bridge and landed again (didn’t realise how steep bridge was) is this going to need a new sensor or could it have tripped?

      Try your bonnets catch follow the wiring and see if it's OK. I had they issue and changed the sensor but was still saying it on my dash so changed the bonnet latch sensor and sorted it out

    Do you have to leak out oil before changing the sensor?

    • @333oberon
      @333oberon Před 3 lety +1

      Hi, sure you have to drain the oil first, since the sensor is at the total bottom of the oil sump.

    • @Uni_Iris_1
      @Uni_Iris_1 Před 2 lety

      Very late but gotta say, you don't HAVE to, but it's better as it isn't on the absolute bottom so you will have to gues how much oil to add in
