    • @TheSupriest
      @TheSupriest Před rokem +1

      @@franticsledder It is really a twisted view of things.
      Russia was supposed to have the second or third army in the world, and also the best equipment (at least on paper haha).
      You also squizz the numbers using the lowest estimations about the russian army involved in Ukraine. it is mostly considered to be between 150 and 220k soldiers.
      Russia was supposed to annihilate the ukrainian army in a few days or weeks and thus prevent Western weapons from reaching the front.
      The russian army prematurly declared that they had the aerian space under control, where really it was not the case at all.
      And their assult with the spetnaz over the airports of and around Kiev was supposed to allow to take control of the city very quickly, which was a monumental error.
      The russian army fires between 25 and 100k shells per days with poor results, and their guided missiles have a very low accuracy.
      The infantery lacks night vision equipment for exemple, and the wild corruption in the russian military is demonstrated every day since the begining. The chinese tires for exemple are of the worst possible quality.
      Every aspects and levels of the russian army shows lack of preparation, coordination, integration, etc.
      We have seen so many videos of russian armored vehicules and tanks wandering alone or in convoy without any infantery to protect them.
      So don't inverse things here.
      Russia should have taken the country in a blink of an eye, like Crimea, but they could not figure that the 8 years of combat since 2014 would change the game entirely; so they went unprepared, with a far too spread chain of command (which explains all the high ranking officers being killed on the front), a heavy logistic that would have worked maybe during 2nd WW), and troops that were not even knowing where they were going and to do what.
      Russia army is an absolut corrupt system, where high ranking officers prefer to lie about the real situation of their companies, rather than having to say that there were problems, taking bribes in the process.
      Putin should have anticipated that Nato would provide money, weapons and training. He is not naive...
