  • Michael Beasley was once one of the game's most coveted prospects coming out of High School and then College. Once he got to the league, things went awry and he never fully reached his potential. He's made it back to the league once again, signing with the Brooklyn Nets for the remainder of the season, let's see if the 31-year-old can now find a home.

Michael Beasley will have to serve his 5 game suspension, as dumb as it is. Hopefully he can make something happen in the time he’s out there.

I'm praying for this brotha. After the interview on the Pivot, I can see how see how so many obstacles in his life have lead him to believe he has nothing left but his children and ball.

Dude never had the focus. Some guys coast on their talent and build, but it’s the mindset that separates the good from the great.

Reuniting with his boy KD would be great fit to keep him straight and rejuvenate his career. Beasley is a Beast!

One of my favorite offensive talents ever, didn’t get to see enough of this guy. Loved it when he was on the Knicks, gave me a reason to watch

Wolves fan here. I LOVED Beasley when he was a member of the Wolves. Easily my favorite player on the team. His shooting touch and random athleticism is insane.

Beasley stayed long enough to make a lot of money. That’s still a successful career.

Great share! When he signed with Kansas State in Manhattan, KS he was perhaps one of the greatest, if not the greatest College Basketball player ever to play in Manhattan. At the College level, M. Beasley was almost unstoppable. I was glad he was on our team, and not the one down the road. He's been fairly productive in the Pros, but hasn't lived up to the hype when he was drafted #1 overall. I didn't know about him Mom passing away & I'll say a prayer for her & Michael. May God hold her in his arms, and on Angel's wings.

I was wondering what happened to him while he was at LA. I can definitely understand that he needed to regroup after losing mom. Hopefully he can come back stronger than ever!

Yo no matter what he go thru he's still a decent basketball player. Like why judging athletes like Beasley by saying smoking weed ruin his career while we got some athletes rather football and baseball that we considered them hall of famers used Steroids and HGH during their careers. See that man we too quick by judging the wrong person all our life just leave Mike Beasley alone hell as least the guy stay in shape every day.

This guy could've been one of the greatest, I remember seeing him do crazy things in pre game and practice...he was an athletic freak

He is still one of my favorite players ever, as I watch this video I can’t help but feel bad for the guy because of his mother died it’s my mothers birthday today and the pain will never go away it’s hard losing a parent especially one who is always there for you. Hopefully you can make a good come back to the NBA. Miami should’ve kept him I think he fit well there
