Purchased this in March at GC and was amazed at how big the sound is. It projects unlike any nylon string I've played before. I tried a few pricier models but kept coming back to this one. It holds tune so well and is very low maintenance. I highly recommend this guitar if you're looking for an affordable nylon string which sounds and plays almost like a performance grade instrument.
I just picked up one yesterday at GC in New Hampshire ... love it! It’s gonna be great for studio sessions !
I just viewed this video May 2020. Please forgive my late posting but just wanted to mention that I purchased this beautiful guitar in 2014 and I love it! This one is my special, along with a Cordoba mini and Cordoba 22 series tenor ukulele. Thank you for the great video!
Great guitar, and fantastic playing there in the beginning!
I didn't know there was a Guitar Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Oh boy!went in and tried a few of the nylon string guitars but when I got to Codorba classical guitar I didn't go any further .I made my choice . I'll take the Codorba. The sound ,the tone ,the weight.the way it feels when you hold it against you.then there's the ascetics.Whew! So easy to play.Yeah ,this is my next guitar.
wow - wonderful playing
Excellent review, makes me want to buy one.
They are very fine guitars. I’ve owned one for numbers of years now. I hope Yamaha doesn’t screw them up.
I tried more expensive Alhambra guitars but this one is just better. It gets the job done and is so comfy.
Informative video - thank you - very useful.
What is that nice piece from 7.32 on when you are playing through the condenser mike, or are you just making that up on the go?
Great classical for only $600 and sounds amazing just like more expensive ones sound
It's a flamenco one, the "classical one" is called IBERIA GK STUDIO NEGRA
@@Arathenae Actually a Negra is a Flamenco guitar too. But it's more for solo guitar oriented.
They are $699 now in 2021
@@mauriciocoronel3248 I have the Negra, very definitely a flamenco guitar, you are right, and I play solo :)
Just got one in 2024 and it was 779 - I cant believe it used to be around 600 5 years ago, the inflation is crazy
Excellent review
Thankyou, you a a great player. What strings were on there, do you know? What strings do you like?
get some Hannabach.
Awesome! Is the fretboard easy to play or not much?
Easier than both a classical and a steel string guitar. It's a beautiful instrument.
Very good review. Lots of playing interspaced with excellent explanations.
Oh, and lovely guitar too.
By the way, what's the difference between the Iberia GK and Blanca GK? Is it only colour difference?
Yes they are different they have different sounds. I have these both classical guitars you can barley notice it though.
Ebony tuning pegs??? Or black plastic???
Great video
I am a beginner at guitar and I want to buy a nylon string guitar. I am looking for a guitar easy to play, but a good investment. I hesitate between Cordoba Fusion 12 and Cordoba GK Studio. I like folk to give you an idea of the music i like.
Thank you for your advise.
Planning to buy one to but can choose between alhambra and this one. Do you guys think we can play classical pieces such as capricho arabe on this guitar
which model of alhambra?
@@baggalgazi a bit late ahaha i bought the Cordoba
Got Flamenco?
Please what kind of beautiful string for guitar thank you
They arrive with Savares strings, high quality and last for a long time.
Can i borrow your hands for a few days?
Fap with your own.
@@Hairy.Whodini Hahah, RIP
Is it a belt in amp
Built in preamp, with mic.
What's the price range of this guitar and where is it made?
Aristowi They sell for about $700 in the US, and I think they are made in China (but I do not remember how I learned that). Be sure to check out the Negra version.
Santiago R Thanks
***** Thank you
Hello, I am kinda lost in all the models you have so If you would help me finding, a guitar with nylon strings, cutaway, thin neck, thin-line body size to play Spanish and some flamenco but not so sharp like the GK series? warm sound, cheers
Negra
When he's talking, he sounds like David Coverdale from Whitesnake. lol
I think he sounds a bit like Ivanka Trump
@@Materva-hv6sz Who?
the pickup sound must be real awful, he never showed......
The first guitar you hear in the intro is just the pick-up.
Reminds me of Synyster Gates's acoustic work on City Of Evil.
this guitar...made in u.s.a or china???
Soumyadipta Ray china
Chinese junnk
I 'Dislike' adds in the middle.
Need a better fishman
Excellent review, makes me want to buy one.
