    Your videos and descriptions you give are so much more usefull and detailed than many other videos I've watched. Also you played one of Bach's pieces wich I can play too and gave me a great idea of how their sound is. Keep posting these great videos, sir🙏🏻

    In principle , I always want to get spruce tops… but when I close my eyes and listen to the notes… the honey enveloped notes of the cedar always get me , I consistently love the sound the cedar makes. That’s the sound I want to accompany me when I am alone in the evenings and playing by myself. Cedar top is so soothing. I think if I am going to have just one guitar , it’s pretty much going to be the F7 Paco.

      I have the C7 cedar and the sound is so sweet and deep at the same time; I also have a C10 spruce. But the cedar sound is the most touching as you feel the resonance.

    @spokenwordillusions5756 Před 2 lety +2

    The F7 Paco appears to have a bigger body than the C7, so a smaller player such as your students may prefer the C7. but, they can test both out to determine which feels better for them.
    what's interesting is that either can play flamenco or classical, they're almost interchangeable. Curious is whether the strings could get changed to a different brand. But i suspect that all six strings should be the same brand........

    So what is the height of the strings at 12º fret low E on that Cordoba ? the neck is straight ? I'm used to buying flamenco guitars for up to 500€ and they always come with a high action, they write low action on their description, I read that in the 19th century there were Ramirez flamenco guitars with 1.8mm on the 12th fret without a capo, it buzzs and it is supposed to specially for fast rhythm playing i guess. The Cordoba looks good,

      I know you are asking Florentin, but I have the C7 and to my ears (this is important to understand as sound is subjective) it sounds richer, fuller and warmer without losing definition and clarity in the upper register. I do prefer a more defined bottom end and the C7 has that. I tried the Paco and its a little more mid rangy (to my ears!!!) and more strident/harsh. As for comfort, to me both guitars are really comfortable, but the truss rod might be a deciding factor to accomodate the strings (as much as possible without buzzing) to your liking. For me, C7 all the way... I wouldn't say for the rest of my life since there are so many other hi end guitars to buy, but I'll own it for some time. Hope this helps. Cheers-
