The only thing I would recommend for the video is adding a input overlay of what keys youre pressing I feel like that would help out a lot of people.

@@RockedIn oh yea after awhile i realized that the only problem i have is my FPS doesn't change to 30 when i hit the scroll wheel so I'm just figuring that part out.

@@RockedIn you have to change what key it is within the text files he gave.
For people that still want to slide with C (because it keeps jumping instead of sliding or crouching after doing all the cfg file) just replace the ''C'' by ''X'' instead in the cfg file if you don't usually use X for something else in game. Just did it so i can keep sliding and crouching with C and right next to it its X for when i climb and superglide . hope its clear enough and that helps you guys a bit .

had to come back for the new update bc for some reason it gets rid of your cfg files when a new season comes out so i repeated the process and it works again. much love for the vid

Subbing because you're tap strafing and other guide actually helped more with the detail and why keys are binded. 👍🏼
I noticed something.
If while in your climbing animation you press jump about 2 frames before you crouch. You *need* to press jump first. You crouch just as you peak on the mantle. You jump just as you start the mantle animation, and then crouch just as you finish it. Using this timing I hit superglides about 99% of the time on 80fps cap.
@axo just before the peak of the climb hold jump then just as you reach the peak hold crouch. You jump first then crouch it isn’t at the same time.

Didn't work for me at first, if you aren't seeing any .cfg files in the cfg folder, you can go to the anti-cheat folder and there are some there.
Secondly if you are unable to open the cfg file right click it and open properties, make sure the opening program is set to notepad
I found some cfg files in the anti cheat file but which ones can I change, I don’t want to start touching stuff then my game won’t work or something lol
@@Bryce_3400You dont actually have to use anticheat cfgs you can just use your own file and rename it from .txt to .cfg. But if ur just copying the cfgs from anticheat (not moving) then it shouldnt matter what file you take

Guys, if it's not working for you no matter what you do, you have to disable VSYNC! i had the issue where i couldn't get the 30FPS lock and i found out it's bcs i had vsync on. that's why it was almost impossible for me to make super glide. great video btw!

For those who use C as your slide and don't want to switch off I used V instead and it works great
Same here i use c for inspect and v for crouch🤭. Configs like this are for losers though. I can hit 4/5 glides with no cfg after practice. It becomes an exploit instead of a skill with cfg
@@kaiw2x I started having issues with my frames and decided to learn the normal way or just live without it. I think its an exploit with or without config. I think this can be useful to understand the timing and what inputs are needed.

I followed all the steps correctly, but for some reason superglide2 and superglide3 arent activating. I can press c and mwheeldown to jump but my frames stay the same no matter what. I don't have vsync or anything. I'm still able to pull off the glides though but it's just a bit harder to time. Super weird..
I had this and realized it was because I had to hit the starting keybind (C in the video) to initialize the superglide on each instance I wanted to do one. I actually prefer that since I use mouse scroll down as a secondary jump bind already and dont want to drop to 30fps jsut bc i scrolled an odd number of times

Should I be stacking the commands? or delete the previous command from superglide1 in superglide2? same with superglide3?
No delete the camands from the new copied version and then paste the new ones
using C it works fine but with ctrl and other keys with miltiple letters it doesnt work- are their different keybinds for those?

FOR THOSE OF YOU STRUGGLING READ THIS
When you rename your file, it needs to match what's in the description above. The command is stating to reference superglide2, 3, then/or 1; so if you rename your file anything other than what your pasting in the file it won't work.
What to set your file name as so it works
superglide1
superglide2
superglide3
if you use any other variation, it won't work. Below are some examples of how not to save your file

damn it's insane, it still work just don't forget to disable vsync in your setting, that was my problem at first. Because if vsync is not disabled your fps won't cap at 30 for the superglide.

for anyone wondering, this still works to this day. Just tried it myself and was able to successfully Super Glide consistently after 5 minutes of trial and error.

The FPS max thing doesn't work for me, it just acts as C for climb and scroll mousewheel down for the second jump, which is fine, but already works with regular wall climbing and scrollwheel up for jump.

To everyone having issues, make sure that the following is true:
Your apex launch settings are set to the command he provided.
Each and every "superglide" cfg's are named exactly like the following
superglide1
superglide2
superglide3
Ensure each file has the correct command in place, for example , bind "C" "+jump; exec superglide2.cfg" 0 bind "MWHEELDOWN" "+jump" 0 is placed in "superglide1" etc.
Also make sure to copy the file he shows in the video, and copy that file 2 more times so it stays as a cfg, otherwise it will just be a note document.
Follow the steps correctly and you should have it set up without a hitch.

The "config_ default _pc" has a cfg at the end and if i attempt to remove it tell me "are you sure? the file may be unsatble" and if I click yes it turns the file into a paper icon and not a note pad ...I've double checked everything and I narrowed it down to this cause his is just "config_default_pc" and mine is "config_default_pc.cfg"

@@ignorant8565 If you created and edited all .cfg files properly, then all it comes down to will be the timing of when to scroll your mouse wheel. After you start climbing with c, you have to scroll the wheel right when the character reaches the peak of the climb. It's hard to say exactly when that is, and it feels different for each legend. But if it doesn't work, try a little before or after the previous attempt. I'm still not 100% at performing, but I can get it about 85%.

if you have (+exec autoexec +exec superglide) u can't write both things in the launch options u have to type exec superglide1 into your autoexec.

@@rocky171041 i know im late to this whole thing but when I did this I binded my key to v and it wouldn't work at first. i tried a bunch of stuff, but what made it work was, in the launch options I moved the command to the middle. make sure that it is separated from the any other commands with a space.

If you're getting the same problem I was getting where it seemed to only work once, you have to re-press the initialization key (C in the video) for every time you want to do a superglide. However, you can also just bind the initialization key to space and it initializes any time you're climbing up a wall. Honestly I don't know why you wouldn't make it space

Regarding the safety of this way for supergliding are you sure it's very safe regarding not getting ban for macro or exploit ?
You can’t get banned for it devs said that using macros is totally allowed but just not in alg tourneys so you should be fine
