Honestly, I haven't applied the video techniques yet, bit I was doing something right, I hit 5 outta 10 sideways superglides now so hopefully this will bump my consistency up, the metronome is actually genuis. I never would have thought of that.

I try it constantly but on 60 i found that just practicing off of EVERYTHING helps you have to even warm up to your character i switch from Pathy to Bang & its a big difference

only advantage of my shit rig with worse fps is that i hit 90% of my Super jumps xd

Thanks to you i did so manysuperglides in about 20 mins i play apex since season 3 and i never ever did one even by a mistake and i am a movement player. My biggest tip to you guys who cant manage is to not try to time what button you press first, just mash em untill you get a feeling for it, but dont expect it to be in the first 10 mins of trying and dont give up! im now in the stage that i sometimes do 6 in a row and than mess 15 in a row. dont give up!

bro you should have a million subs. the space bar + v combo with the thumb finger and the script to practice the timing is pure gold. i'm now getting about 60% success rate with just an hour of practicing.

Excellent tutorial! There is a vvvvveryyyy tiny pivot from the space button to v. I spent the day in the range, but I'm able to pull it off consistently. Not sure I'll be able to get the advanced stuff with tap strafe, but this video was exceptionally helpful thanks!

Looks like my keyboard can't hit 1 frame delay, only 2 frames or higher at 180 fps (CK101 keyboard). It shows everytime 0.180000 and 0.360000 frames difference when hit almost together...

Thanks for the guide. Here I founded some ziczac techniques while experimenting.
If you hit ziczac superglide while going forward, you can change direction to alt side just by using scroll wheel up(strafing). This will carry you forward and will change you direction too.
If you want to superglide ziczac backwards. just hit the horizontal and then press S + the alt direction key. like if you press left horizontal (A) superglide and want to go back just hit S + D. And if you want to go backwards with ziczac momentum then press S + scroll up + D after the glide.

I just mentally visualise the angle that i me to be at to superglide, then visualise my character in 3rd person and compare those two, works for me
Also a good tip! Definitely helps with consistency when supergliding on different heights!

ive fllipped the spacebar but for some reason the crouch keeps coming in either too early or too late. using c for crouch and 144fps. I've been messing around with finger placement and even just having my fingernail barely touch the c key but its still super difficult I have like 5% success rate

I play on the same frame rate as you, and i only hit it once in my entire apex career which is before season.

hey mate thanks for the video! super helpful with the breakdown, when you press the superglide input, do you have to hold it down or is pressing it once sufficient? i.e. holding down the jump and then crouch a frame later, or can I just press jump and crouch a frame later and let go of the input?
EDIT: also at 3:45 the example you provided of being close to a superglide, is that too early or late?
You *can* release jump then crouch and then immediately release crouch after you super glide. But trying to release jump then hitting crouch overcomplicates super gliding. I super glide 'space + v' then once I'm super gliding I release both 'space + v' after I;m supergliding.
Also the example at 3:45 could be both early or late. Just practice with doing it earlier and later if your getting something close to 3:45. Also make sure to use the click-track in the description! It's super helpful imo!

I have a question: I play on laptop so my keyboard is basically flat. I’ve been using space+F because I was not being consistent with V or C. The problem is that the finger that I use to go right is now occupied with crouching. So do I try to become consistent with V or because of the flat keyboard I should do a little dance with the finger to do more complex superglides. Great videos, continue the incredible work and new subscriber :)
Thanks Gugli and good question! Since your keyboard is flat it will make super gliding harder but not impossible.
The thumb trick to hit both spacebar+ c or v won't work for you because the keyboard is flat + the shape of your thumb you will most likely always crouch before jumping (therefore failing the super glide).
For you, I suggest hitting left 'ctrl' with your pinky to crouch rather than your pointer to crouch with 'F'. This will allow you to do the advanced super glides because your pointer, middle and ring are able to hit 'W-A-S-D'.
Hitting crouch with your pinky and spacebar with your thumb to super glide will make that 1 frame timing much harder because the human error is much greater with 2 fingers. But this is probably the best/easiest key binds for you!

Sooo im a 100k wrraith coming from crossprogression and MnK is a whole different game not to mention the gunfight/mentality . soo i want to get great at it...i just want to say great video , knowledgeful , and great explanation ...but please put a disclaimer before the "FLIP your SPACEBAR key around" cuase i trustfully did it and i basically broke a clip on the keyboard which makes it spring back up everytime its pressed and it cant even be flipped xD ..... custom keybinds have a delay so its better to keep crouch as shift
Do you mean default keybinds have less input delay? Because thats not right. The only changes in input delay is with completely different keyboards.
Every keyboard has a polling rate (like a monitor's refresh rate) which is how often the keyboard will 'refresh' or recieve a new input. Every key on the same keyboard has the same amount of delay.

It'll be easier to do with a faster response keyboard but you should be able to do it with a cheaper keyboard
Trust me a superglide can be alot easier with a keyboard that has flat buttons and have to be real sensitive, a mechanical keyboard helped me alot with movement stuff

Yes, it's just much harder to do consistently! I highly recommend relearning to super glide using space + 'C' or 'V' to consistently super glide!
I've done it on both and space+v is much better!
