Detailed guide for how to Mantle Jump on Apex Legends #apexlegends #gaming #apex #sponsoredbyea Apex Legends Thumbnail Designer: / @_edy ♫ Music Apex Legends OST
This is the best worded, best explained, and like you said in the title, most effective guide I have ever seen. To not have an overlay and make people actually understand what's going on, HOW and WHY, was a genius idea. Props to you buddy! I will get to practicing right away.
Appreciate this comment so much!! I hope it helps you do a mantle jump, it was how I finally was able to learn it! Thank you again for the comment!!@@PrinceLizzy
Wow.. been wanting to learn this since i usually pick up movement easily but everyone made it sound so complicated. No jokes im actually pulling this off constantly in 15 minss??! The floating bit was the lynchpin to cementing the timing for me. Thanks man keep it up
For me Treeree's guide where he explains a standing mantle was the most helpful and i learnt it from above with a huge success rate. From that point i used nearly the same timing down and it became much easier. But i still cant really do the streamer building. Only managed to do it once accidentally in game. Its a tough one. My key mistakes were holding back too long (it has to be really quick and released) - how long you need to press it depends on the place (how far the ledge is from the zip), it is a very short press though, some places dont need it to be pressed at all. Doing it too fast (you can wait even for several seconds and it still will work but it has like 0,3 second window where it wont work after you climb up (for the upward mantle) For downward mantle the climb animation prevents you from looking completely down so you have to learn to only move your mouse a certain distance in order to not drag your mouse without moving your view and then have no more space to look down once the animation unlocks
Awesome explanation ! I never thought to look for the floaty part you mentioned.! One thing that also helped when practicing is to hold the interact key. As I find it to be one less key to think about . Not sure if it help others but I thought I would mention it :)
Things to note: Upward mantle jumps go further. Some buildings are only mantle jumpable with downward mantle jump (ex. world's edge streamer building) Character height matters - Wraith, Wattson etc will be easier than Gibby, Pathfinder etc
wow thank you for this, watching mokeysnipers video i couldn't for my life do a single one with his weird method, but watching this one, i borderline have them consistently in only 10 mins of practice lmao.
thank you. already knew how to do it with looking up but that obviously doesn't work in for example streamer building and I never got it looking down. 4 min in and I got the timing thank you.
Ty for this guide! :) got it down after some practice :) For me is all about timing the S after you see your character move up in the mantle and then do super jump :) can even do it faster to get higher or slower to go more forward :D but this guide really help me understand what I needed to do! :D
Small tips for players on a lower sense or those who arent accustomed to moving there sticks on high sense but have switched to high sense, u dont need to look directly down and can instead look down but slightly forward on a 40ish degree angle and still do the mantle jump, although its a little more difficult it does help to lock onto enemies ahead of u quicker especially if u have a pk
Can you please help when I look down I only go straight up but when I look up I actually get boosted up and forwards. Down is like a normal super jump no momentum
@yousef3668 superjumps use 3 main variations with 3 different ending inputs, if u just stand at a vertical zipline and try them it may help u understand them a bit more, look directly at a zip line and execute a superjump while holding forward and u will be pushed forward, holding backwards will push u directly upwards and holding left or right will cause u to slightly turn in said direction, u may be holding backwards too long while looking down making ur input register as a backwards input instead of a forwards, a nice way i trained my timing is going to the jump tower in the firing range and practicing moving back then forwards then doing a superjump and making sure the forward input registers instead of the backwards one
I think I might be pulling back my left stick to long after the mantle, could that effect it? I'm having trouble, and do you have to play claw to get it?
The first thing I watched said to crouch instead of backing up. I can do it consistently looking up but looking down I can do it like 5 percent of the time. When I practice too much for some reason the buttons just jumble in my head and I have to stop for a bit
i can mantle jump looking down on controller most of the time but can't looking up for some reason doesn't rlly matter looking down is more useful for buildings you just dont go as high
do you think fov really impacts movement ? if so , which fov would you recommend or fov window we should be using? asking cause fov changes the character running animation and that can impact . eg I play on 98 fov and when using big legends like caustic it looks like they run slower.
How do u load up any custom map like you have here , if i try to lauch a custom private match it requires me to add at least 29 more people so i am wondering if there's another way to load any map offline like u have here m
2 things that made a big difference in my consistency: Upwards looking jumps are the easiest to start with, but only usually work on outside ledge zips like in the trailer spot. Can be done without touching w entirely. If you tend to only go straight upwards when doing the downward looking jumps, hold w a little bit longer.
Yeah you have to grab onto the zipline to do a superjump because the mantle counts as you standing on the ground. Dont know if that made sense I'm pretty bad at explaining stuff
I hope you found the guide helpful! :)
i need private session for this OMG . I can't do it
Awesome guide I've tried and learnt the mantle jump not perfect but I can do it because of you. Thanks a million.🤩

YOU DON'T KNOW HOW LONG I'VE WAITED FOR THE TUTORIAL FOR ME! I HIT MY FIRST MANTEL TODAY THANK YOU SO MUCH NEW SUB WELL EARNED!
I am so grateful that apex dev are admiring movement not nerfing it ❤
It is not considered an abuse because most of the movement techniques needs a lot of practice.
@@Gabe_Noobel Epic Games would have nerfed it all, that's how they destroyed Fortnite
punch boosting.
@@yates.christian1punch boosting was too easy for how powerful it was. I’m actually glad they nerfed that
@@ShaunGotFans still a form of movement

same thing to me

Such a simple way to put it. I've been looking forward to seeing this since you hinted at it a while back. Thanks for a great video!
thats literally the most efficient guide i ever seen i understand how to do it and regu it before the third minute of ur video thank u so much
Got it in mins. Fantastic guide Dazs. Thank you.
Things to note:
Upward mantle jumps go further.
Some buildings are only mantle jumpable with downward mantle jump (ex. world's edge streamer building)
Character height matters - Wraith, Wattson etc will be easier than Gibby, Pathfinder etc
this guide made learning this a lot less frustrating, thank you
Finally, someone who actually explains it and makes it simple, thank you!
I didn't knew you have to climb after the mantle, i kept trying it and it didn't work now I know why 😂😂
Thank you for the tutorial i went from not knowing what mantle jumping wad to consistently doing it in 10 minutes
wow thank you for this, watching mokeysnipers video i couldn't for my life do a single one with his weird method, but watching this one, i borderline have them consistently in only 10 mins of practice lmao.
Great Tutorial i understand now it is done with looking down before i was superjumping only high in the air and not forewoard
omfg I finally got it after failing for months! this was an awesome guide!!
Thank you @dazs. You’re a saint

Thank you soooo much I finally got it!!
literally got it first try thanks so much!!!
you're the best teacher ever thanks you to tell me what to do. :)
thank you that helped i figerd it out i wasnt super jumping i thought i had to when i pressed w not s. Also how do u get the severs
Starting to watch your guide and learn the mantle jump right now - lets see how good your "teaching" is :P
Banger video!

Other videos I've watched have failed to mention to do the Zipline interaction for the mantle jump
The first thing I watched said to crouch instead of backing up. I can do it consistently looking up but looking down I can do it like 5 percent of the time. When I practice too much for some reason the buttons just jumble in my head and I have to stop for a bit
now i finally know how to time it
been trying this for 6 month, learned it in 5 mins from this vid... HARD VOUCH
dude even though I didn't get it here is my like and support...

Thanks Big D
"I'm not one of the most gifted players" Yeah right Dazs your amazing bro.

yup - on 110 fov the "feeling" is faster compare to ~70 fov

a super jump is not an interact jump, its 2 jump inputs in very quick succession just putting that out there
2 things that made a big difference in my consistency:

You thank EA for the server and it lags... truly an Apex moment!
they need to add back punch boosting
soo im a little confused, you said look down or up to get the prompt for the zipline, so am i supposed to grab onto it?
Yeah you have to grab onto the zipline to do a superjump because the mantle counts as you standing on the ground. Dont know if that made sense I'm pretty bad at explaining stuff
What fov should I use
I’m sorry but I don’t see the keys to press in order to achieve it. Plz help
yippee
So I don’t have to press crouch at any time?
👏🏽👏🏽 EA W
How do you get in the game bye your self ?
How can I access the worlds edge empty server
Movement is the best.
It feels like skating or surfing the land.
How are you in private match I thought private matches require 30 players?
Video starts at 1:20
Its interact jump jump on controller
So after I mantle just press jump jump?
@@Javggoat my comment keeps getting deleted, guess he doesn't want the community to grow smh
Maybe someone will find a new tech that rivalises with Trackmania's Uberbug... who knows?
but still didnt told he keys....
bro its literally whatever key u use to interact with the zips and jump use your brain
Bro controller has it harder to do this.
PC only
buy a pc
@@pocky8501 I have one. Barely touched it lol

Are you a cat?
So this is what casual apex players should learn to "have fun" in the game ?
Console players cry in a corner.🙃
Console can mantle jump
The only thing console can't do is tap strafe
Or see ...( 60 fps )
can’t tap strafe, yet can do this
Not helpful at all lol
I dont play this
