Stage3 thanks for always using great lighting when shooting install videos! Much appreciated.
Good video. You guys with lifts make everything look easy.
Thanks for the vid!
Hi Stage 3! Thanks for posting this video! It helped me in determining which lift system to purchase, which was a while ago, but finally installed it. I forgot to install the stabilizer bar relocator kit.😳 Is that essential? 🤔 I'll have to do it asap then before driving it more. Thanks.
Hi, great video for the clear cut instruction. So,how much or exact lift the vehicle gain in both front and rear when installing the Pro Truck Lift Stage1 by the default lowest Snap Ring Groove? Thanks
I have the same set up with spacer and my truck vibrate between 55-60. I check the balance and is fine.
Did you fix the issue?
Needle bearing
Compare that eibach to bilstien 6112, which one is better quality shocks?
Would you guys recommend this setup over just the Bilstein 5100s front and rear? It seems like a better kit bc it has the front springs. I’m leaning more towards this kit
Is the truck pictured running the Eibach stage 1? Any other components? Thanks.
Nice video guys! Do you guys or anyone know the spring rate of the springs the kit comes with? 650lbs?? 700lbs??
What was the total lift front and back please? Thx
how many shop hours is this install?
You went through way to many steps to remove the front strut assembly. Factory service manual says loosen lower control arm then remove the 2 lower ball joint bolts. That all, and it works great. It will need an alignment anyway.
How bad if installed without tophat bushing?
What size tires are those?
I live here in Phoenix. How much would you charge to do this to my 2019 trd off-road 4Runner?
I keep hearing you don't need to do the tire rod to install the shock? Is this true
The only reason the tie rod had to come off was because there was already a spacer installed on the strut.
Jeez Dude, NEVER tighten a control arm with rubber bushings with the suspension hanging! You just reduced the life of that bushing by 75%.
Not sure why tie rod had to be unbolted....
Can I add an off brand 2” block to the rear shock?
Don’t see why you couldn’t.
What size tire can I go up to with this lift? What offsets will work?
The Eibach system doesn't come pre-assembled?
2.0 kit does
Did you had to install the hardware for the sway bar relocation?
Its the first thing he said, yes.
@@Ctrlwrp I order a kit but didn’t said anything about the sway bar relocation hardware reason I was confirming this lol
Wish you would have talked about clip level settings, apparently it’s hard to find.
So when will it be wise to upgrade the control arm
Above 3”
I went up about two inches on my GX470 and needed aftermarket UCA's. The lift threw the camber out of spec and they couldn't get it back. It drove like shit. All is well now.
Nice video , quick question do you need to add a diff drop after installing this lift kit?
Yea if u have a 4x4 if Rwd then no
The great diff drop debate. Seems to be a 50/50 on this.
Did those 285/70/r17 rub?
285 usually rubs on a negative offset
Eibach or Bilstein 6112's? Unsure of which one to go with for my 16 Tacoma.
Both are good
And both are affordable prices
Nothing needed for the “taco lean”?
Guys say it isn't noticeable with this kit
Does the sway bar kit come with the lift?
Yes it does, I called the company directly in California. They also include the wrench to make height adjustments.
Yes it does, I called the company directly in California. They also include the wrench to make height adjustments.
Why would someone want to add the optional 1inch block in the rear? Is it to keep the rake?
Yeah, some people want the rake. So when they load the bed or tow, it doesn’t squat as much as it would if just leveled.
Did you use a drop diff on this kit?
I need to know as well
if you lift just 2 inches you don’t need too
Do you need the sway bar spacers ? Some guys says you don’t need them for the off road model does this sound right to you?
It would be a tight fit and I think you'd probably end up having the spring and sway bar hit each other if you took it off-road and articulated so I'd recommend putting the spacers in there. They come with the kit and are easy to bolt on so it's definitely worth the peace of mind.
Noah Stage 3 awesome thanks for the reply
You forgot all the torquing specs!!! :/
Everyone says "If you replace your struts you will need upper control arms" Why is that?
Good question. As you lift the front end it changes the geometry of the the rest of the suspension components and can put the upper control arms at an angle where they tend to wear the ball joints faster. With only 1 - 2" of lift you typically don't have to worry about it, but with anything above 2.5" you will need aftermarket UCAs for sure.
Am I able to put 285/70/17 tires ?
Noah Stage 3 ??
Gerson Hernandez did yu ever find out if 285/70/17 fit?
can you put the spacer on top of the eibach to get more lift??
great video nevertheless, think i’m going with these over the 5100s..
Yes. I added 1/4 spacers to both sides
New to lifts. How does the rear gain 1" of height if there are no AAL or spacers being used? is it the shock alone in the back that brings it up an inch? Not looking to do anymore than a 2" on my Tacoma.
@@trevormcdonough so with that being said, what setting does the front need to be to level the truck?
@@trevormcdonough Kevin from eibach said to use the second perch setting with the 1inch block in back, I do want to make sure that the front isn't higher than rear on my dbl cab because I don't wont the bro look. Do you know more about that?
@@trevormcdonough so you can't add a 1.5 inch AAL or Block?
Look I’m first 👀
what tire size are those
They are
LT285/70R17 BF Goodrich Tires
Do this 285/70/r17 rub?
@@stage3motorsports will my 285/75r16 fit? or 305/70r16
You guys are out of stock! :(
Na.
