- Songwriter extraordinaire Mac McAnally wrote this song in 1990 and it was on the charts for a short time no big deal. Then in 2008, Kenny Chesney cut it with Mac, and the rest is history.
Perhaps you've seen Mac perform before. If you've seen Jimmy Buffet play with his Coral Refer band, you've indeed seen Mac-he's been Jimmy's band leader since the 90s.

I always enjoy the Bible verses.
Having grown up in California it took moving to the South in the 70's (for school) to gain an intro to his music and style. Have been a fan ever since. I play guitar and have struggled to emulate his riffs. Would have loved to have seen his right and left hands but obscured by two heads of the lucky audience to have been there. Cameraman!! please show us the artist, not heads!
