Love the performance!! I've been a fan of Ray Stevens for decades. I remember when I saw him sing this before he ever officially recorded it. He sang it on on a gospel program hosted by Gary Chapman... well, come to think of it, I guess he had officially recorded it but it hadn't been commercially released yet..

My favorite Ray Steven's song is The First Self Righteous Christian Church. Fits the Mormon's all the way. Not sure about how other Christian churches are. I just know I haven't met a kind, non judgemental Christian yet. I forgot to mention I live in Utah.
