This man is 70 years old and still has one of the greatest voices in the world
No auto tune here folks. Close your eyes and his voice can take you back in time.. This man is a legend. Blessed to have had so many songs from him and his cousins.
Lip syncing. Lol
I’ve been a fan of them since I was an 8 year old child. I’m now almost 41 and still can’t get enough of them!

So very true
Yes takes me back to my high school sweetheart and all the good times we had.
My wife and I saw Alabama several times. The first time was in the early 80`s in Jemison, Alabama. We watched Randy get off the bus and walk toward the building. I called his name and he stopped, walked to the 6 ft fence, reached over took the picture that we had, signed it and handed it back. My wife still has it in a Bible today. ❤
Randy Owen and Alabama, to this day, still one of the most recognizable, smooth, purest, and rawest of vocalist ever. Their songs are truly timeless.
A couple more pure vocalists that I've ever heard as well are: Vince Gill, and Keith Whitley. Gary Owens is on another level though.

I flew from Dallas to Cleveland with the group Alabama on board. Randy had me sit with him in first class and we talked all the way to Cleveland. He was down to earth as you can imagine. He signed my boarding pass which I still have. Real nice guy.
Not only a great singer but one of the best song writers ever!
Why am I crying listening to this? I grew up on 80’s country and have heard this song hundreds of times. So beautiful.
Yes it is..so many memories
For a guy who grew up on classic rock and blues rock, I was never much of a country fan, but anytime I heard Randy Owen’s voice on the radio, the station did not get changed. These guys were special.
For us that grew up in the, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s we were so blessed with music.
AMEN!!! Love ya, Greg!
an early 90s
Greg, born in 1953! A widower for 4 years! I actuallyy got my late husband to love this music!
Greg, yeah we were! God we had so much good music! Wish things were like they used to be! Stay safe and be well! Love ya!
Rhonda Boncutter thank you, Rhonda.
For so many, the voice starts to go with age. Randy Owen's voice is as wonderful here as ever.
That is Crazy!!! His voice is still amazing after all these years. Most singers never sound as good as they do on their album.
Exactly! This version (to me) sounds even better than the original. Just an incredible artist, group and song.
Oh my! My all-time favorite singer. I remember having to play the album every night for my youngest son, when he was a baby!!! Two songs over and over and over! 🥲 Not that I minded at all!! It was, "Feels So Right" and "Lady Down on Love," that I replayed..his favorites. So, we rocked and rocked and rocked and replay, replay and replayed. His little eyes would finally close. I'd turn the stereo off..AND HIS EYES WOULD POP OPEN! AND, HE WOULD CRY..so I'd start it all over again. It should have worn the album out, but I was all that was worn out was me and eventually the rocker broke! 🙄🤣 But, I didn't mind a bit! Best group ever!! And, that voice. My husband finally took me to a concert, (mind you this all stated on a farm in Ohio!), The concert was in Roanoke, Va. And, our baby boy was 6 then. It was great. As we were leaving the parking area, we had to exit thru a tunnel. Well, guess who went right past our car inside a limo. (Almost close enough to touch!) I screaming "Look, Look!! I was waving..saying Hi Randy!!
Hello!! How are you doing today, please pardon me for intruding into your privacy but I just wanted to know if you’re a fan ? Have a great day… Stay Safe!
Darn, dude still has it. A member of the greatest country band ever.
Hello are you one of my fan??
My husband played this song for me told me it was his song to me. We had a baby girl, 16 mos later he committed suicide due to alcoholism. I tried to do all of the things that the song says. He couldn't handle life. Needless to say this song is very touching for me and my daughter. She is now 33, such a beautiful person inside and out.
Hello are you one of my fan??
Randy has aged very well 😍, Alabama will always be the band. Still are the greatest..💖🎶🎵🎼

His voice hasn't aged one bit its just as smooth as ever.
Hello are you one of my fan??
I actually believe his voice has gotten better with age. Is that possible ? In Randy's case, I truly believe it has. Not quite sure what it is but it is almost like, there's more feeling to it for lack of a better words.
@@stevenwahl3440 How long have you been listening to my music and what’s your favourite?

I met Randy years ago...nice guy and a real gentleman...he really respected all his fans, unlike so many other stars...
My husband sang this to me. 24 years later when he was dying, I brought this CD into the hospital and sang it to him. He died that night. They say the hearing is the last thing to go and I know he loved that. ❤
Thanks 😊 for your support are you one of my biggest fan?
Still gives me chills when I hear this. I was just a teen, cared less about country music but my Brother in law played the hell outta this album & thank goodness he did. First time I heard this song even then, as a uninterested teen, it stood out & gave me chills.
Thanks for your support I really appreciate are you one of my biggest fan??
WOW,HOW MUSIC HAS CHANGED.I REMEMBER MY PARENTS LISTENING TO THIS IN MY YOUTH.TIMELESS.
Randy’s candid story about his royalties and building his wife a house was pretty cool.
In addition to that beautiful voice, Randy Owen has great hair!
Hello are you one of my fan??
When Randy sings this song everybody stops and reverences the prominence of his voice and song...Why? It’s cuz his vocals takes u and puts u in a realm like no other
This guys voice is so clear and pure, I bet he can still sing this song the same way, in his 80's.
He still has it! One of the greatest songs of all time!
Hello are you one of my fan??
Randy Owen, one of the best voices closing out the 20th century. We all have to retire sometime I guess. Man I miss that Alabama music
I met Randy he's so down to earth has a beautiful voice that God blessed him with no other band can come close to Alabama
Hello 👋 judy.
I am a former DJ who is a Classic Rock devotee but I listened to Alabama in the 80's because there wasn't this twangy voice and I became a fan. I think these songs are timeless and it sure beats the hell out of New Country.
Tom Oswald, I agree about modern "country" singers being too "twangy". It's like they're trying too hard to "sound country" and it sounds so fake. I love the older artists with natural country souls who can sing a country song without having to "fake it till they make it" like "country" singers today.
You can tell just by watching and listening to him that he is a good down to earth guy with a big heart. They all were and I think that's why they did so well.
I use to listen to Alabama all the time, and still do. They sure can sing.....We saw them in Knoxville once, and there concerts were great . Miss this type of good music.
You are right there will never be another Alabama.when they first started I was in their fan club.and I still love them
Behind the grayed beard,Randy’s voice has not changed, still smooth.

I am a huge Conway Twitty fan since i was very young. and Randy is correct the words are breathe words upon my skin. People are silly. I love Randy's hair.
Randy is really awesome. He is a great singer.
My awesome wife took me to see Alabama this past summer and it was incredible. Randy sounds like he did when I was a kid listening to him on old jukeboxes. So many memories.
Thank you, Randy. I grew up listening to you guys. That was very special to hear you sing that and tell the story behind it. The real cool part is hearing about Conway calling you on the phone.
Simply REAL country music from a great singer.
My life would not be the same without 70-80s Country Music!
I remember growing up in the 70s and 80s when country was awesome, my parents played it all the time in our house... There are lots of talent out there, but nothing like those original country pioneers....
I'm CYNTHIA SULLIVAN I've been listening to Alabama since the'80s and I'm 50 years old
Just watching this video and loving on Randy for singing this song. It’s something I think that a lot of people have forgotten. They’ve forgotten that passion and sharing that lifetime of passion with a loved one.
They’ve also forgotten the passion and love for liberty and autonomy.
Sad
Wow - I get chills hearing Randy sing this song. And I'm a dude. What a gift his voice is.
Nothing wrong with that at all, just goes to show, you dont just hear the music, but you feel it too...all my favorite singers are men, and on many occasions i get those chills...i assure you, im not the least bit gay...lol
Its called "theatre of the mind"

Randy Owens sure developed into one of country's greatest singers and voice ever
After all these years his voice is flawless. Amazing talent...
My husband and I met in 81 and I'm going to give you the reader's digest version but life wasn't easy and feels so right became our song and I can only see him a couple hours a week then when we were able to be together full-time whenever we go to a dance and they would play feel so Right he would take me by the hand and get me up on the dance floor and sing it in my ear. As we got older we didn't go out much and frankly I forgot about the song. January 28th 2021 I lost my hero to cancer and nothing feels right anymore. I never seem to be able to sleep and I got thinking about the song so I thought I'd check out CZcams and look for you while playing it I might as well have shot myself in the foot I knew it would upset me but I needed to face it head on and get it behind me. It was my big old hero and one of a kind and back in 81 and kind of look like Randy anyways thanks for putting so many memories out there for people love you guys forever
Alabama was top 10 bands in my opinion..so many classics with tis band, and this era of music. Heart- n -Soul...wish they kept performing ...miss this style of music.
