Imagine how many gems are in garages just like this 🤔🤔. Every council estate in Britain has a few sets of garages.
As a South African I have have no idea what the "council" is and at this point I'm too afraid to ask.

@@armand4624 Why would you be afraid to ask something like that? Councils are a form of local government. A quick Google search will be able to provide you with a more comprehensive answer than you'll ever find in a CZcams comment.

I found a restored a 3000GT which had been sitting in a garage for 8 years. First year it’s been properly on the road this year. Its the auto version but still, for £480……

I used to see this car abandoned on the previous owners driveway and sent multiple offers to buy it. I'm glad to see its being restored to its former glory! Beautiful car, especially in oxford green!

The thing that impresses me the most is that car fitting in that garage, I struggled to fit my 106 gti and my motorbike in mine.

When the garage door opened, I thought it was my Dads old M5 for a second, but his was an LCI version. Back in 2002/3 my father had an individual, AC Schnitzer, version. It was finished in the rare, Oxford green pearlescent green II, and had almost white/ light cream leather colour. It had the ACS type 3 split rims, and the ACS kit. I think the original owner paid about £90,000. I would like to know where the car is now, but the plate that was on the car at the time was a private plate (550 BMW). All I can remember is, it's an X reg. Anyway, thanks for a great video, and happy birthday Rory.

I still can’t believe that cars like this get locked away, not used and forgotten about for so long. Looks like a cracking find, love the colour too. The E39 is peak M5 for me.

Nice i had the executive model the non M series one of those had the m tech gear box the usual BMW refinements when i sold it there was 350,000 miles on the clock and still ran like a dream never let me down sounded awesome started first time every time a dream to drive.

One of my fav cars the E39 M5, wanted one since my dad had the 525i version in that green. Loved that 525i so obviously the M5 version was the grail car for me… maybe one day, but probably not 🤣
