“If you bully a man, be ready to face him.”
Truth.
Oh my god.. finally an actual analysis that starts with the fight instead of focusing first on the post fight brawl. Thank you coach!!
Not only that, but giving a firm, yet very comprehensive etical perspective once he got there.. no bullshitting, UFC media spinning and hollywood alike ideology on how to treat the fight game
There was a very good analysis just too straightforward with pictures By the weasel czcams.com/video/N7CLEZVA-HQ/video.html
Marwan Abdelaq f you should’ve fy f. Myf. F f. Ymf yf makes
Marwan Abdelaq was f mf myf. Fy fmym. Yf
What brawl? I saw no brawl... Fake news 😏😏😏
This is the best post-match analysis for Khabib Vs Conor. Unbiased
Alexander Albert thanks! I will
Chael Sonnen's post fight analysis is shit
Firas and the Weasle are the best.
The Weasel is solid. Love his new intro as well. I want to see Ferguson and Khabib next.
Rajeh Safar Conor will maul khabib in the rematch
Coach Zahabi is so wise man.. I am very thankful for you existence Firas, please keep it up
yeah great values its very refreshing in mma
Top Coach in The Game
Someone talking sense at last .... spot on
conor next fight in KFC xDDDD
@John MacTavish Do you need ranch sauce to rearranch someone's face?
He said conor was mentally ready...idk about that..he was drinking and acting coked up at the press conference..besides that he actually believed he was gonna beat khabib.. He didn't respect him and talent..conor has lost his mental advantage from his shenanigans..he's done..tony will shred conor,easy...BYE CONOR..disrespectful clown..
WELL IT DID A LITTLE BIT.
Yeah he is so meticulous in his thought process and has very Canadian proses of stopping and asking him self how he feels before answering just like GSP, I bet its also from playing physical chess all the time
The reason he slapped him, because in the press conference he said he was gonna slap him. Basically done what he said he'd do.
Lol that is funny but also correct
The fight ended the way they promoted it.
Adobogains swear conor didn’t get serious
Very true! I didn't think that way but very very true
they wanted to promote it with brawling and surprise surprise it turned into another brawl.
Thats why they say “Be careful what you wish for”.
yes... dana and the ufc as a whole are becoming a joke
Khabib slapped him since he told McGregor pre-fight that he would "slep him" ;)
Being neck cranked by someone who is strong as a tank is something.
Even if they are not that strong.. lol
I thought khabib just want to smash.
well Khabib is strong but not like a tank he's a (strong) lightweight, or what is a heavyweight fighter ? an aircraft carrier 🤣?
Default spook people keep assuming that a RNC has to be applied under the chin. This is actually false. Since the RNC is a blood choke, one must only apply pressures to the sides of the neck to cut off the arteries. Is it easier to finish under the chin,?yes. But with the correct form, it’s not that hard to finish over the chin. As long as you can use the back hand to squeeze the sides, it can be finished. This submission was not a neck crank. I don’t think. Even if it was, Ive been in a neck crank like this before, it is terrible. If your opponent is higher on your back, he can wrap up the over the chin RNC , squeeze, and use your upper body and head to push forward. That’s the crank that kills. Believe me , none of you would last a second without tapping to a neck crank like that.

Coach Zahibi is so balanced and grounded. Hope others like Dillon Danis learn from him.
Too late for Dillon
He'll learn after his first few KOs in and out of the cage.
If a legend like Marcelo Garcia kicks him out I don’t see anyone talking sense into him. He’s gonna learn the hard way through experience
Honestly, that Dillon guy is a no one in my opinion. I’m a huge MMA fan, but never heard of Dillon before the fight! After checking his social media, I understood that he’s just a Conor wannabe and he’ll never be a legend like the great fighters!
Guys like that don't change. U just beat them up when they're outta line
Khabib’s circling footwork frustrated Conor in his striking. Chad and Eddie were sitting ducks and Khabib learned from their mistakes.
What Firas said at 46:00 shows his true character. Well put coach! There must be self imposed boundaries. Class act here fellas.
Khabib was too fast and too strong. The first shot was a mile away and he covered the distance insane quick.
Can it be that Khabib is on that russian juice program ? (:
I wouldnt say he covered distance, he just micro faked a takedown to set up that mega looping right bomb
Lucid Dreamer you cant be serious xD His father trained olympic wrestlers right? And we all know what is going on in olympics n shit..
@Blake Digma I think he means the first takedown not the knockdown
@Legitt Par conor didn't seem to have any bounce, any in and out movement. He usually moves more like wonderboy, but i didn't see any of it.
27-0 . We are witnessing greatness .
The Conor dickriders disappeared faster than that overhand right...
He is just 11-0 in UFC
Fights out of UFC doesn't count
There is fighters out of UFC who reached 40-0 because they were fighting weak fighters
*Adam *Korn Meh, he’s 26-1 in my book. He lost to Gleison Tibau IMO.
i mean if you wanna count a fight that someone was clearly on roids vs someone who was clearly not on roids as a loss , that up to you . Not someone who was just on roids but someone who also got out worked , have you watched that fight? i wouldnt say either one of them lost . but i also wouldnt say the guy cheating is the winner either . an all the judges gave it to Khabib. n taht was what ? 4 or 5 years ago? I think Khabib is the best light weight in the world an when i say we are witnessing greatness, i def believe it
*Adam *Korn You are correct. It was a long time ago, the judges chose Khabib and Tibau was likely on some Mexican supplements. But, I saw Tibau win that fight. I’m in the minority and it doesn’t really matter because of the official record, but to me, Khabib is 26-1. I’m saying this as a Khabib supporter too. 🤷♂️
I've been scouring the net for analysis all day, waiting for coach Zahabis. None can compare. Great stuff
Khabib is the peoples champion.
that's tony ferg
@Ciaran Rooney fuck u..u weak ass got beat at t mobile arena
@Ciaran Rooney he muslim hero
Yess
I respected your opinions before, that respect has increased ten fold! Thank you for this, coach.
khabib was doing kimura and calling dana, and mcgregor throws illegal knee, for me its one of best moments in ufc
I thought he would tap him with that for sure. As soon as he called for Dana i was like uh oh here it is! Surprised Conor got out of that.
yes he was cheating, grabing fence and when khabib called dana he throw illegal knee.
if conor wasnt cheating he would tap in 1-2 rounds
@@dojajaje Exactly. Like Firas said, he was probably panicking. He knew the strength and pressure was too much for him.
i dont think its beacuse of that he throw illegal knee,i think he was embarassed...it was pretty embarassing situation.i watched fight few times especially 2nd round, that round is now in MMA history.
and when khabib called dana conor immediatly throw illegal knee, beacuse it was embarassing as fuck
haha i know, it was brutal too
coach if you get this up on itunes by tomorrow i will promote you to itunes blue belt.
humanmoron I want it to be on iTunes ASAP too 😂😂
Omg coach did it
All Done sir! 😋
congratulations on blue belt coach. i will praise you to everyone i talk to today. coach zahabi a wonderful wise human being and au fait in itunes now as well. i will enjoy listening to this without internet later. appreciate you!
@@CoachZahabi respect ! Your the smartest person I heard on CZcams ...
"MMA is a gentlemen sport" - sums it all up! Great analysis. Thank you!
49:40 "If you bully a man, be ready to face him".
McGregor finally encountered a bully himself. Total domination by Khabib.
Coach Zahibi is such a nice, honest, honourable human being and coach. What a great mentor, leader and person to look up to. Coach Zahibi is so wise and intelligent and classy. After watching this video, I have learned so much and anyone that has the pleasure and opportunity to be taught by Coach Zahibi is so blessed and lucky. AMAZING. God Bless Coach Zahibi.
Brother I loved your tweets after the fight yesterday. Really helped keep emotions in check as I was very disappointed with what khabib did after the fight. You really helped put everything into perspective. Jazakallah khair.
Try hurling openly racist abuse using the n-word and horrific historical slavery-related rhetoric ("subhuman species") at black fighters to promote fights and entertain. And then go after their say gay family members and call them the f-word and d-suckers as your trash talk. And see what happens and how all of you will react and how quickly it will be shut down and everyone will be apologizing forever like Conor already did in the past for the f-word. What Conor said to Khabib is the same in his world and everyone cheered like it was the greatest thing ever. There is a line. And not only your line has to be respected (as it does).
Haaris Hashmi why were you so disappointed? A scuffle after a brutal fight. There are scuffles in all sports: baseball, football, etc. not a big deal. Even more so in a sport that is basically barbaric. Not what you want, but not that big of a deal either.
Guys i think i wasn't clearer ...I was disappointed in the moment because khabib missed a great opportunity to come out as the bigger man and have his name announced have the belt put around him Thank and Praise God after having destroyed the trash talker. And also the chance of them DQing the result and giving the W to connor that was my main concern. It was afterwards when they announced that he is winner and still 27-0 that i relaxed and now looking in hindsight i Loved what he did (still not condoning) .. Khabib is officially the baddest man on the Planet.
@@haarishashmi8322 I understand but don't agree. I don't think he missed any big opportunities. This is a savage and barbaric "sport". It's not like he won Wimbledon. It is what it is.
Alec B what a hysterical prick you are Alec
Firas. Artem was mocking Khabib big time in the interview. He was saying he's the biggest chicken/pull out artist. Basically, from what I got. It was very disrespectful tone
Telltale Telltale you want the other team to kiss Khabib ass? It’s fighting and Khabib is tough. Who cares. There’s a more deeper side behind the scenes between these teams with individuals, politics, leaders ect that most don’t know all about
This is why Khabib asked him to his face to tell him about what was said. He is not afraid to confront people face to face instead of hiding behind social media.
And? he pointed out Khabib had pulled out of a lot of fights, mcgregor never pulls out.
It's a fair thing to point out. If you want to cry about it fine, but ganging up on someone for saying something you don't like is a bitch move and incredibly uncivilized.
Face to face with his team with him? Wow, Khabib is so brave.. Lol.
"throwing a dolly at a bus with women in it is civilised."
Uh, no? lol you'll have to do better than that.
Firas, your podcast is so entertaining..you have so much knowledge and wisdoms in various topics to the point that there is a great point in almost every sentence you say.
Khabib wasn't justified in what he did, but with all the cheating/cheap crap Conor got away with and all the smack Conor and his team talked I certainly understand it....

Nah fuck that Dillon I would done the same.
@@casus4781 As a black fighter I'd probably snap if an opponent (or anyone.) Talked to me like that
@@bigfan1041 no, it is not a sttetch at all given that reagion's and Dagestanis history, it is just that you are only sensitive to the stuff that you know ("f and n words") but the world soesn't have to be US-centered in everything. People in US get fired for fucking "cultural appropriation" lmao.
You're right. And obviously, you're a human being, how much cam you take. Eventually, there's a purge.
The UFC has established a bullying culture that is endorsed by a bully, Dana White. The incident with Khabib sits within a specific context and in my view is understandable. Respect for Khabib 👊
I completely forgot about the Bellator incident. The double standard is just so ridiculous. And I completely agree with you coach, the culture is becoming so toxic.
Conner was cheating his ass off because he was scared and knew he was going to lose.
@KPOPFANBOYUK just in case you havent noticed, this is the ufc, not k1. If it was a k1 fight khabib would have adapted and thus "cheated and smashed conner mctapper again. Stop being delusional, khabib is by far the superior fighter over the over rated shit talker conner mctapper.
I think Conor cheated because he doesn't respect Khabib. He didn't care about winning fairly he just wanted to hurt him.
Great job Coach Zahabi!! I really enjoyed listening to your plea for respect and civility. We need to help guide our MMA culture in the right direction! 🙏
You are a very humble man, much respect.
Tell your boy to fight the new king!
King vs King
Khabib vs GSP
Finally! Someone actually analyzed the FIGHT instead of just the aftermath. Thank you!!!
I love your analysis man. You’re one of the most objective guys talking about fights on CZcams. Very informative. Thanks.
Amazing stuff Coach, thank you for doing this! Always great listening to your views.
Intelligent guy, I really liked everything you said which is uncommon these days. You earned a subscriber sir.
Firas "thats Just an absurd" zahabi is the best role model in whole MMA community
56:55 is really a great advise for me as a kid who was constantly bullied in school
These are amazing, informative and non bias. I appreciate all the intell coach Firas Zahabi. Oss!!
We appreciate your insight and philosophies. Thank you for posting, coach!
McGregors camp underestimated khabibs ability to close the distance, rematches should happen only if the fight was close, there are lots of other guys Conor can fight, lee, Diaz or Tony would all be great fights to see
He would lose to all of those guys except maybe lee
El dee lee has a good chance. He's an excellent wrestler even if he's not Khabib's level and his striking is arguably better than Khabib's
He has more chances of beating Diaz than Lee.
Tony. Period
I think he could beat Ferguson. Tony has show that he is extremely hittable, in many of his fights he gets beat up and then finds a choke. As long as conor doesn't get taken down or try to GnP him after a knockdown he can win that fight.
This was the most measured and reasonable take on this mess I've seen so far. Everyone involved should be hear this.
first time listening, loved it! great insight, thank you very much.
Excellent video... by far the best fight breakdown I've seen. Coach Firas has amazing insight, I can certainly see why he is held in such high regard in the MMA community.
Coach Firas has a truly one of a kind MMA mind. Just hearing him speak makes you a smarter spectator of MMA.
👍
You are a real coach brother Zahabi with great ability, I wish I could to be your student. Thank you for your wisdom brother. Allah blesses you and blesses your family all.
Good old days 😌 I remember watching this live in my old account, crazy its been 4 years since that fight.
I love your podcasts❤️. I want to be like you when I grow up. You are a great example of an honorable person.
Your comments on the post-fight antics are 100% on point. Aim High.
I thought conor looked awful tbh, wasn’t patient, flat footed, looked slow and predictable, his timing was off, and as always his cardio is still an issue.
Bruce Chan - I agree that he underperformed. The only thing I thought Conor did well was his take down defence and his back game. Not good enough in the end, but he still did well I thought. I think the two years off effected Conor, his striking was off, his timing was off. It was a bad idea to come straight back and fight Khabib. But that Conor, he’s a mad man.
Stuck in the mud almost
Everyone looks awful when they fight Khabib.
He looked flat footed and slow because of the pressure from Khabib's takedowns. It's unlike anything Conor has faced before. That's how Khabib landed that huge right hand that knocked Conor on his ass. He feigned a takedown and landed the right hook.
Fighting someone who is better than you Will make you look stupid
Thanks for the upload been waiting to hear from Firas
I am very impressed with how fair, thorough, and reasonable your analysis was here. Salam Alaikum from Toronto. Happy Thanksgiving, Firas.
Coach, your analysis is like a surgeon's scalpel. Unparalleled knowledge and objectivity. Thank you!
Michael Schuler respect!
Thank you for spreading positivity always Firas. Awesome message during times where we are often blinded by bad news and constant negativity being fed to us. There is definitely more good in this world!
With a medical background. McGregor was a bit flat. I attribute that to the use of stimulants. One comes to mind but you clearly see it. It wasnt going to make a difference cause Khabib is the better fighter but there was a clear stimulant withdrawal. Great analyisis. So much respect for you sir. You and John Danaher are true intellects
Great unbiased analysis coach, you earned my sub and respect. Thanks for the good content.
Sir this is the best video on this fight I've seen so far. Thank you for putting all this effort and making it happen.
great analysis, as always. finally someone unbias, as much as he can! Thank you coach!
Coach Firas isn't just a great MMA Coach, he's a Philosopher and a great educator, a true inspiration.
Thank you for the wisdom and please can you breakdown the Cucuy vs Pettis fight ?
I appreciate your thoughtfulness, Faras! This is by far the most even-handed take on UFC 229 I’ve seen. Keep up the good work. OSS!
Excellent video - best analysis of that fight I've seen so far.
But there is a logical objective line. Linking a Muslim fighter to terrorism is no different at all to calling a black man the 'n' word. NONE. Also there is a law against death threats. That there would be a logical objective line.
Finally if you start stoking the fires between Chechnya and Dagestan claiming that Khabib's dad would be happy to knife the Chechnyan dictator in the back. Then you are endangering Khabib's entire family's life. That too is a logical and objective line.
I was rooting for Mcgregor until he mentioned a man kids father and religion.. and now I’m a Khabib fan
At the press conference
Antonio Del Torro he did not insult the religion
Yes he is a scum bag but he did not disrespect religion
Mcgregor called him a mad backwards cunt for not drinking. Anything else is reaching at best
Karam D. Is dilon Dannis Conor?
Yesb
Hi from Barcelona! Thank you for sharing your wisdom, Coach Zahabi! 🥋
Love this channel , thank you for your time 👍
I agree with almost everything you said. That’s refreshing. I think we’re going to wrong way as a society.
Conor kneed khabib because khabib was trying to talk to dana i think it was somehow of a moral victory because he didnt want to be another fighter getting beat up while khabib is talking to dana at the same time
That's a great point I completely missed that
Probably panicking that he would break his arm too. I don't see Khabib being nice to Conor like he was to Michael Johnson. But then again, who likes being shit talked while getting their ass kicked? lol.
I think he kneed him because it's such a natural thing to do in that position, but people like the more dramatic explanations I guess.
Eva Braun then explain why he threw it once as soon as khabib shouted " Dana! " whilst he was in that same position before in the fight?
First time ever I watch a whole video about MMA. Thanks man great points and analysis.
At last a sane voice! I totally agree with coach Zahabi. Now if he wasn't only one in 10.000.000 the world would be a decent place.
If GSP could fight Khabib could it genuinely be considered a match for the title of pound for pound best?
It could. But GSP has *so much* history behind him. A win for Khabib would definitely send him on the way. I think Khabib would need to go up to welter or middleweight and test his mettle there to really cement a legacy as p4p.
Nooo man, did you see Tony's pace? Tony would chop up two Khabibs within 25 min. After that dip in 3rd round for Khabib, Tony would cut him to pieces. And remember, we've never seen Khabib see his own blood squirting out of his head, it would change a lot. Tony is the best.
@Ortum Lynx The GOAT as we know is a timeless class of title, P4P is just presently open. Jones (for now) DJ (for now), Aldo, McGregor, and Silva, aren't relevant anymore. I don't consider him an All Time great yet. He just might be the P4P best fighter right now. GSP and him are basically the best elimination match for that title, to be fair. It seems all other contenders for pound-for-pound have too great of a size differential
@@AdobadoFantastico No he doesn't. If he clears out the lightweight division and stays undefeated then what can people point at? An undefeated record this far into an mma career is unheard of.
Richard Luciano if Khabib can move up and beat woodley then he is p4p number 1 and it’s not even debatable
Can we talk about how fast that Khabib's right hand was?
Thank you coach firas for this video. Absolutely brilliant as always
Coach Zahabi this is the best vid yet. You are very honest and knowledgeable therefore just subscribed
the day Conor's confidence left his body
Thank you for bringing the illegal moves some attention, I was shocked by the refereeing, it almost seemed biased against Khabib.
This podcast was great, first time I’m listening to it and I’m subscribing! Good analyses brother.
This is the analysis I was looking for...Coach Zahabi speaking STRAIGHT FACTS!
Brett Okamoto from ESPN apparently had Mcgregor winning round 1.....just absurd stuff from a supposed professional MMA reporter.lol
I thought round 3 could go to
Mcgregor, khabib had him pushed against the fence for the last 80 seconds , didnt do much there. Might be the only round khabib ever lost, if even. But round one, no no no
I saw a prediction video where Okamoto said Khabib in rd 4... Cant remember if he said TKO or Sub...
submission khabib 3-5 was 5-1. I had to bet :)
Don Aholu coz the are all the same racist team with dana and mcgreggor team. They are more than bias and way to obvious. That is d reason trump got elected i guess. Less values and morals in majority,
Winning Round 1??? Absolute Blasphemy
It's not everyday that Firas talks almost 2hours for a 10 min fight (but what a fight !).
About an 18 minute fight i think, plus a 3-5 minute post fight scrum.
*I'm being a nitpicky ass, i know* ;)
It's OK
We can also consider that this post fight scrum was a kind of extra round : so we have 4 official round, plus this illegal fifth one : not a 4 rounds fight, rather a five rounds one ;-). And security guards won against Khabib and Mc Gregor.
Absolutely fantastic analysis. Very Intelligent. Thank you for your thoughts.
Love your content Firas!! Life long supporter
Conner is a disgusting human I can't believe that he fooled all of us. Khabib said he was going to change the game and he did . what an awesome human being the new Muhammad Ali.
Your philosophy talks are the real gold in all of this. Thank you sir, I wish you a blessed life
Great video Professor. Thank you
I already have high respect for you, Coach Zahabi.
After this video, that has been multiplied...
Thank you for being impartial and telling it like it is.
3 years ago when I first saw Habib I knew he would be world champion
I am really interested in Khabib vs Ferguson and even Khabib vs Ortega because of El Cucuy s well rounded skillset and Ortega s ground game overall
This is my 1st time on this channel and this brother is correct in everything he is saying. Subscribed. Please keep it up
Was waiting for this by the second.
Coach you need to send the whole section where you discuss that there needs to be etiquette and lines that aren't crossed to Dana White.
Tony Ferguson - 28-0
Tyron woodley - 29-0
Your boy, George St.Pierre - 30-0
Hope this happens!
lmao theres no way gsp loses to khabib
He should fight GSP at 155 first before T Wood
Conor2 30-1
Conor3 30-2
Woodley and Gsp? Hate woodley with a passion but khabib will have his hands full with woodley, even more with gsp.
i bet all my money on tyron winning this fight
in no world would tyron lose this fight
gsp loosing is possible
Thanks coach Zahabi.. It's an honor to learn from your wisdom.. In fighting and in life..
Absolutely love this analysis. Really good stuff. Very interesting.
Best UFC PPV ever, Three Finishes in one Fight, Dropped, GNP, and Submitted... The Slap 👋 was a bonus! Not to mention the Ferguson and Lewis Fight plus Reyes! It was worth every Penny!!!!
Michelle brought it too
More money for McGregor, I wouldn't pay a penny
It was nice
Best card ever!
Such great analysis but you SERIOUSLY need a picture in picture showing clips of the fight WHILE you comment.
Yup.
THIS IS A TRUE MARTIAL ARTIST . what an inspiration . God bless
Learnt so much from this. I'm not talking about fighting I'm talking about life. I admit that I sometimes get carried in the wave of the masses and forget what's really important. Thank you Mr. Zahabi for your reminder that it is important to show respect, tolerance and be honourable.
Please help set up a GSP vs Khabib
Conor “WOO WOO” mctapper back from cloud 9
Coach Zabali I totally respect you man I wish there was more guys like you. You show respect you get it .
Best Episode Yet! Can't wait to train with you someday it's on my MMA Bucketlist!
