The 2nd and 11th legion are known as ‘the lost legions’ and all records of them have been expunged. What’s thought by some is that they have fallen to chaos or something else and that the emperor/imperium sent the space wolves to destroy them in secret

The Primarch of the Black Templars is Rogal Dorn. When the Legions were divided into Chapters after the Horus Heresy the Imperial Fists was split into three separate chapters. The Black Templars were where the most radical marines were "segregated".

There's one thing you should know about space marines that people either skip over or mistake. When a 40k video says legion it speaks of the 20 legions of the 30k time with the emperor and his primarchs. When they mention chapters this is after the heresy when the remaining loyal legions were broken up. There are only 20 legions each with tens if not hundreds of thousands of marines. There are one thousand chapters each with only a thousand space marines under perfect conditions but for many reasons the 1000 number could be way off. The Black Templars are a perfect example. They came from the Imperial Fists legion and because of the way they deploy troop they have well over the 1000 marines but don't get in trouble because no one knows where they all are or how many. The Templars are also one of the very few Chapters that worship the Emperor as most marines believe that he was only an advanced human and not a God.

      @dramsac17 Před rokem +2

      @@timeoutwithtrey Generally that is correct.
The maximum number of active Astartes in any loyalist chapter is supposed to be 1000. Most have fewer do to taking casualties faster than they can produce replacements. Some chapters have more than 1000 but they must usually do so in secret by never reporting their true numbers and never all being in the same place so they can't ever be counted.

Im a little late to the party (this vid is a year old so ignore me if you already know this) but note about all the blown up planets
Youll notice most of them are from traitor legions. Thats because after the horus heresy, the loyalist primarchs engaged in something called The Scouring where they hunted traitors down anywhere they could, which also included blowing up their homeworlds in revenge, and to prevent them from falling back to those places.
The Dark Angels homeworld got destroyed during a civil war with the Fallen, and now they live on a floating chunk of whats left they call The Rock
The Night Lords are a special case. Konrad beat his world into submission before being found by Big E. He returned eventually to find the world had reverted to its original state in his absence, and in a fit of rage, blew it up himself

5:27 here's a little fact for you I wanted you to learn this from adeptice ridiculous. About jaghatai Khan and his legion the white scars. But I might as well tell you this because I find it pretty funny.
But before that the white stars like to go fast they ride fast bikes and they like speed cars and bikes you know. Oddly enough we don't know a whole lot about them because they don't brag about their accomplishments. Just like their father they he didn't brag about everything that he did they're kind of mysterious like to keep to themselves.
But during one battle an orc invasion had happened and one of his sons was killed. Jaghatai was so mad that he told his legion to back off he told them to retreat and stand back. It ain't around about this time his brothers were there I think roboute Gilliman was there. Fulgrim of The emperor's children legion and I think sanguinius was there of the blood angels.
Because this was like a huge invasion of orcs And the con told all the legions to stand back. And they did the white scars pushed all the other legions back to give him some room. And what the Khan did he essentially turned into the flash he started running and running. And running while he was running he started killing orcs the faster he kept running the faster he went at killing orcs until he was wiping out legions of them. He was basically run Barry run from the flash as he was killing so many orcs speed blitzing. That the orcs didn't find it fun anymore they were terrified and started running but they could not run faster than the Khan and he just kept massacring them until not a single orc was left.
So yes now you truly understand why the white scars like to go fast because their father likes to go fast. But it takes a while for him to pick up speed like the it's not automatic he has to build up momentum and start running and that was just like a one-time thing a last resort.
Also to put it to perspective of how fast he was going it was kind of. like DBZ where Goku and Frieza blitz each other kind of fast. So fast it was like beerus versus Goku flying all the way up into space when he turned super Saiyan God for the first time.

@@timeoutwithtrey no it was just a Khan that could do that and while he was mastering these orcs his brothers wanted to jump into the fight but. One of the white scars stopped him and just said we are supposed to observe not interfere. This is about honor not battle like this was for his fallen son this wasn't just because for fun. Yeah the white scars are all about fun in battle laughing and having fun enjoying the fight. But this was a very serious moment like one of his sons just dropped dead dishonorably and he had to make up for it.
And also fun fact about the white scars they actually kind of smart. They practice calligraphy the fine arts kind of like the Mongols they're more Mongolian themed. After they conquered everything they had to be more civilized and learned learned.
Jaghatai Khan encourage his space Marines to be intelligent because like a robot girly man Guilliman. He wanted his space Marine legions to be smart because you know you can't just keep fighting. All the time you have to learn a skill or a trade once all the fighting is done.
But good going back to the question of can all the legion do that I don't know. Now that I really think about I don't really know if it's just the Khan that can do that or.
Is it his entire legion a few of his sons can do it I don't know. Because we just don't know a whole lot about the white scars they like to keep to themselves.

Okay the thing you need to know about the second and the 11th legion is that. For whatever reason they were stricken from the record for whatever reason the emperor. Deemed necessary that they should be erased from history that their legions shall be split up among the other legions. And the space Marines of the second and 11th legion are to sworn the secrecy and never speak about it.
But here's the thing in one of the books Horus Primarch of the lunar wolves. The emperor's favorite son and sanguinius Primarch of the blood angels. Jaghatai Khan Primarch of the white scars. Approached a man named malcandor the sigilite now what you need to know about malcandor is that this was the emperor's right hand man.
His best bud they were tight and is theorized that he was there with the emperor since the very beginning. And he's a top tier pysker right up there with the emperor almost.
He's also responsible for the creation of the gray Knights and the official assassinorum the assassins. So that's why a lot of the grey knights are psychic. And are good with dealing with demons and stuff.
Now the point of this story is Horus sanguinius and the Kahn approached. Malcandor Horace wanted an audience with the emperor because he was very angry. That the Primarchs of the second and the 11th legion statues were going to be destroyed. So it obviously hints that Horus had a deep relationship with these two brothers of his. Basically horse threw a massive temper tantrum it started to call malcdor out and malcdor just sat there and took it he didn't.
Even flinch horror started to threaten him and everything didn't even budge. He just told Horus flat out this is what's going to happen and you're going to like it whether you like it or not.
Also you got to keep in mind Horace is a big guy he's like 9 ft tall a very powerful demigod child of the emperor. Anybody else would be afraid but malcdor wasn't afraid he wasn't even scared. Because he knows Horus he helped raise Horus because he was the first son of the emperor to be found. They have such deep relationship that Horus calls him uncle.
So while he's going on this little temper tantrum. Horus punches malcador across the room took that punch like a champ. He barely got up and keeping my mcaldor is a old decrepit man in this form. And he took a punch from a demigod and it was at this point he was like okay enough is enough.
And what really pushed him over the hedge was Horus was. Going to say the names of the two primarhs that were taken out. Malcador was like oh no you don't you little shizz.
With all of his psychic power he shut horses mouth closed and gave him excruciating pain that brought him to his knees. Sanguinius wanted to step in but he knew his place and backed off. Jaghatai the whole time was just standing there waiting and watching to see what would happen he didn't even bother to interfere. He was just there for his brother's support he was not going to get involved.
After Horus received the amount of pain he walked away with his tail between his legs. But it shows that Horus and the other emperor's children know what happened to the two primarhs. Whatever happened Horus must have really loved his brothers to fight to keep their statues around.

    • @timeoutwithtrey
      @timeoutwithtrey  Před rokem +1

So the emperor just wanted the 2nd and 11th legion gone because he said so? Or was there a deeper reason behind it? Dang, so Horus actually stood up for his brothers and got shat on. @@timeoutwithtrey in the book that literally happened. He punched an old man this man who he called Uncle. He just punched this man across the room and he got back up and then used his psychic might to bring him to his knees.
And keep in mind Horus is a demigod. The emperor's favorite son the strongest of the primarhs when it comes to fighting. He just decked him across the room and he got back up. No grande he was injured and now keep that in mind he was injured but he just got back up.
And you should know about Horus he was a good boy. He was he was he was a good boy he loved his brothers. He loved every single one of his brothers rogel respected him.
Rogal respected him to the point that when one of the space Marines told him. That he fell to chaos he immediately wanted to put a Bolter through that space marine's head. That's how much of a good boy he was and why they would not believe he turned traitor.
And fell to chaos because he loved his brothers he had a. Tight relation he was the glue that held them all together. When Conrad curse Primarch of the night Lords and he had the ability to look into the warp 24/7.
And that's why he was so demented and twisted and you know supremely depressed all the time. Horus would give him a hug he would just give him. a hug he would help him out he helped all of his brothers.
He was a good boy then he turned into chaos. So now now that I've told you that now you can understand why he was so adamant that they shouldn't be erased. Because he met his brothers it's obvious that he met them and now they're going to be erased.
Horus loved all of his brothers he loved them very deeply. Even Magnus he loved Magnus of all people even Leman Russ the wolf King himself he loved Russ.
Even though he was kind of dumb that that's the running joke Russ's like the stereotypical Viking and he's kind of dumb. Only knows is to punch things really hard he doesn't really think things through kind of like Marvel's Thor young Thor arrogant.
So that's why people really want the wolf King to return because he might be a bit wiser like. Odin because he is obvious he's Thor so when he comes back he'll be more like Odin.
But yeah and it's very mysterious why the emperor wanted these two. Primarch erased and Horus must know the reason and it must be an unfair reason.
It's heavily implied that he met his brothers knew them very well and now all of a sudden. They're going to be erased he wouldn't have thrown this tantrum for nothing. He was going to say their names until mcaldor shut his mouth.
