    Welcome to Firearms of America! Today, I have another Glock generation 5 review and this is Glock 43X gen 5 review.
    Let's start with this Glock 43X specs:
    Caliber: 9x19mm
    Weight (without magazine): 465 g | 16.40 oz
    Mag. Capacity: Standard: 10
    Barrel Length: 87 mm | 3.41 inch
    Length (Overall): 165 mm | 6.50 inch
    Trigger Pull: 24 N
    To make it clear, this is the all new Glock, so there is really no Glock 43X gen 4, but it has all the familiar features of gen 5.
    Overall, you get from this Glock pistol exactly what you expect from a Glock. Easy operation, basic design, reliable performance. This particular one is the subcompact Glock 9mm and considering the magazine capacity, this Glock handgun is a great option for CCW. Is this the best Glock to carry? Well, that comes down to your personal preference. A lot of Glock fans think that the Glock 19 is the best 9mm Glock... because of the mag capacity. Glock G43X is only 10 rounds, but it is much easier to conceal.
    Doing this Glock G43X review was pretty easy for me because I have already reviewed so many Glocks in the past from different generations.
    So, what do you guys think about this Glock 43X review? Let me know in the comments below! Thanks for watching!

    Great review! I am looking at one of these and starting to lean towards pulling the trigger on it!. Never been a big Glock fan but this one in particular fits my needs as a daily carry with 10 rounds available. I can always get the Shield magazine for more rounds and keep the stock look and feel. Keep up the good work!

    Great review. I had been carrying Glock 19 gen 5 for my daily concealed carry but I bought a Glock 43X today and shoot 200 rounds. The grip very comfortable and easy it was to handle. It is thinner than Glock 19. It shoot true to where ever I aimed it at the target.

    i just got mine last month, at first the slide and trigger was very stiff, after 200 rounds i can noticeably feel the difference, my wife struggles to rack most firearms that arent .22lr, she could barely rack the 43x at first but now it feels loose and smooth enough for her to comfortably rack

    I own the Hellcat and the 365XL, between the two firearms in my opinion the Hellcat has more recoil but I’m still able to shoot 100 rounds no problem, the 365XL handles recoil much better.
    Would you compare the recoil of the Glock 43X closer to the Hellcat or the 365XL?

    Is 10+1 exceeding Glock's 43x specifications? My 43x stovepipes on the first round when running 10+1.
    Remember, loading 10 rounds, then clambering is 9+1. Mine will run 9+1 all day long, but not 10+1.

    • @zackiinu7194
      @zackiinu7194 Před 9 měsíci

      Not saying you’re doing it, but some people load the 11th round by hand directly into the rear of the barrel instead of racking the round in and then removing the mag and loading the extra round into the mag, which is the proper way.

    • @JacksonWalter735
      @JacksonWalter735 Před 2 lety +1

      I feel like this is slightly less snappy than the Glock 26 but that could be because of the longer grip where I could secure the pistol in my hand much better. It's negligible in my opinion though. Both of them have smaller barrels so they'll be inherently snappy. Where the Glock 26 lacks in grip length, it makes up for it by being slightly heavier. If you have a decent pinky extension on your Glock 26 though, I feel like the snappiness would be around the same because of the extra 3 Oz. Most gun ranges around me have a 26 and a 43x at this point so I would highly recommend shooting them both first before buying since guns are expensive.

    Just bought the 43X online for $450 (regular, not MOS) and it will be my new conceal carry. I've been rocking a FN 509 Midsize which is very reliable, over 2K rounds and not 1 malfunction period. But it's a midsized gun not a subcompact, and I want a smaller gun for conceal. Haven't gotten it yet but I'm excited.

    I can’t make up my mind on if I am happy with my 43x... bought it simply because of the size/capacity with the Shield Arms mags. Bought 6 of them, and 5 out of those 6 have major FTF issues. It’s at least one or two every other mag. I think I had about 32 malfunctions out of about 250 rounds. I sent them back because I can’t bet my safety on those odds. But now 10 rounds doesn’t feel sufficient 😅 what to do?
