I’ve been a diehard Springfield fan but have switched to Glock 43x and the Glock 17 I carry both in alien Gear Holsters they work great for EDC and duty
I picked up my glock 43x a week Ago. Came with the same sights, extra mag and a box of ammo. I’m enjoying it so far. I just need to get the extra grip now!
Been having a difficult time deciding which one to get between 43x and 48 because I was afraid 43x wouldn't be accurate. Nice to finally see someone shoot well with it.
Just bought the 43x over the weekend. As soon as I put it in my hand I I knew it was the gun for me. Haven't shot it yet but I sure can't wait. Nice video bro
@@mjacksonian1738 bought one and the safety trigger was cutting my finger. When I looked closely, I could see a strip of plastic running down the middle. So I used a nail file to shave it off.
The Real Hawkeye II Most of the issues people are having is they are running the S15 mags without the SA mag catch (it’s a must, says right on the web site and inside package). I have 4 of them with close to 2k rounds with no issues. I did get the 3 or 4 batch. Also they drop smooth. Love them.
Beards4thewin I would like to add I did run into some issues with the early runs. After 1k rounds I noticed I would get a failure to feed always on the last round. Contact SA and they where aware of the issues and sent me the updated springs which are really heavy duty. Put another 1k with the new mags with no issue. Again this is only on the early runs.
Just got mine today. The trigger feels different then my original g48. I prefer the g43x trigger. I think it matches the gen 5 exactly. Ran 100 rounds out of the box at an indoor range with no issues and no cleaning. Rock on

GENZILLA but why settle for less..I’d have to spend another $100 on good sights, the trigger is not as good, P365 is lighter, and with the P365 I have the option to go 10 rounds flush fit if I need to conceal it better...and did I mention it too has a 15 round mag....
The 15 round mag has me interested in this gun. However looks like you need to replace the mag catch so another small cost there. I have the p365 which has been flawless and it's good to go out the box. Have yet to try the p365 XL.
My preferred sights are Hackathorns, including over the factory P365 sights...$54. I have a p365 with 2100 rounds through it, and I still wouldn't trust it over a Glock. If the 15 round flush 43X magazines prove to be trustworthy, it will be the black 43X with Hackathorns on the hip all day for me. I'm getting one regardless. Even with the ten round factory magazines, it's a good feeling gun.
I saw a Glock 43X on the website that had a rail for a light or laser but haven’t seen any in the store but again I probably would put either on a gun this small I will be getting one of these soon.
Please report if you have any rust issues come up with the 43x. I know with the regular 43, it had an issue with rust after the release and for a Glock, that’s pretty unacceptable in my opinion.

Most people only look at size & weight for ccw .....But they should be looking at how accurate can they shoot the pistol because if you are not a experience shooter small light pistols are usually hard to shoot accurate for the average shooter.
Great review. I have the 365XL it shoots smooth, also have the Hellcat it’s a bit snappy but shooting 100+ rounds no problem. I have been looking for the Glock 43x MOS very hard to find every time I go past any gun store I look to see if they have one. In your video you answered my question that I’ve been searching for if the G43x was less snappy then the Hellcat.
Cool, your range is pretty good and the variety of positions and shooting is well, even better. 43x oh yea! For a kinda cut rate pistol (not really) the sights are good and i'll cut skate tape for grip but not to enhance printing.

Prints way less and is a little more comfortable. The 19 shoots better given its size and weight, which is why I carry my 19 in the cooler months(hoodie weather) and 43x in the summer
Currently have a Beretta compact which I enjoy shooting. I would like a smaller and lighter gun for carry, but polymer guns have a lot of recoil for me. Since I'm 54 and arthritis in my hands are getting bad. How is the recoil perhaps versus a metal framed gun? Thanks. Enjoyed the video too! Oh, how it releasing the slide stop? Some are also difficult to actuate.
That's a tough one for sure, releasing the slide stop is quite easy on the 43X. In my experience the 48 is a little softer than the 43x so you May wanna go with it as a lighter polymer carry option. Now in comparison to my Staccato C the 43x recoils noticeably more.

Right on man, mine has been doing pretty well so far. A buddy of mine is having trouble getting his to chamber the first round on fully loaded mags. I suggested he leave them fully loaded for about a week to loosen them up a little. He'll report back to me this weekend👍
Sick video man! I shoot pretty well with most of my pistols but I honestly can’t shoot my 43x for shit. I see people all over the internet shooting it really well. I’m always low and left. And yes I know trigger pull and grip. I dry fire all the time and use a laser tool and it’s always dead on at home but the bullets never go exactly where I want them to. But today I shot a dead center bullseye at 7 yds but in the same mag the rest low and left. I think my grip and tension is my problem because when I adjust that I get different results. Any pointers?
I'd say try torquing inward with your support hand more. It's kind of hard to explain the feeling I'm talking about. I guess try to imagine smushing the meaty part of your palm into the slide almost. You can't really see it in my videos but I torque so hard the gun has a slight right cant.
If you are interested in doing that, I’m sure there will be others wanting some tips on “how to shoot the G43x”. I know a lot of it’s personal depending on hand size but I think it’s mainly just havent good fundamentals. I went to the range yesterday and really focused on pressure from my support hand directly in the plane of the barrel. I think it helped a lot. When I concentrate, it goes where I want but once I speed up I lose it again. I feel like this is the gun that will teach me how to shoot properly. Thanks for the help!
@@mjacksonian1738 That means your gun is break-In pretty good! Mine at 350 rounds is still stiff and I pull the slide when changing the mags. Nice shooting! We could just dream here for that tipe of range...
Sir if you don’t care to let me know does your Glock 43x magazine have back and forward movement when you insert it into the pistol when it’s empty? but when I have it loaded it don’t wobble any it does not affect the reliability but I’m worried about it!
Just bought one for my wife and she loves it, but she is having a little trouble with the slide release because of her small hand. As for me, I find it difficult to load the full ten rounds into the magazine. Once it gets to around the 7th and 8th round it becomes difficult too depressed the spring to load the rest
@@mjacksonian1738 I am such a dumbass. I couldn't figure out what that extra piece of square plastic included in the case was for. It's a speedloader to correct the problem of overcoming the spring pressure and problem of loading in those last rounds Duh!!
I've seen then but they're always out if stock. I check the site daily hoping to grab a few of those mags and the steel mag release. That's the only downside, I won't be able to run the polymer ones with the steel mag release. It'll chew them up pretty quickly, but I don't see a need to use polymer mags anymore if the shield ones run great🤙

P365 ready out the box for $499...1000 rounds through mine and zero malfunctions. And at that grip length the 365 will hold 12 plus 1
It's on my list to try out, I think I'm gonna grab an XL though 👌

@GENZILLA Good luck getting the 15rd. mag from Shield Arms anytime soon. Plus, it may not even turn out to be reliable. No long term users yet.

Haven't had my hands on an s15 but from what I've read they're definitely a good option for magazines
I’ve heard the slide feels more grittier with the grey slide 43x...does the black slide feel that way as well? Compared to other glocks(if you know)?
To me it feels the same as all the other Glocks I've owned. It honestly I don't pay it much attention.

Hi! When inserting the new mag you press the slide stop or just push the mag harder and the slide goes forward by impulse?

Yes mine does, most of my guns have a little wobble/wiggle. Nothing to worry about though 👍

Looked like slide didnt lock back a few times.. I had that problem when i rented one at the range..
Happens to me on occasion also, I chock it up to my high support hand grip. But it didn't happen in any of my video portion.

Pretty much no difference between carrying it or a 43 to me. Grip is slightly longer but it's still thin and concealable.

Glock 43X hands down. It shoots way softer than the hellcat in my opinion.
