Victor I watch your videos religiously.I am in furniture sales.Your podcasts are helping me to overcome many of my obstacles and fly past them # 1 in sales at my store this month and increased my sales per customer buy a bigger margin. This month also starting out with a bang. In three days I have made my week goals, the rest is gravy. Trying to add in warm calling. My biggest obstacle is myself. Thank you for your inspiration and scolding.
“It can be anywhere from (range, low-high)... depending on what you’re looking for ... tell me what you’re looking for & then let’s hone in on a price” Too low= cheap, low quality work Too high= overpaying, can’t afford Here’s what we can do on the low end (what you can do from a limited perspective) What do they really want? Here’s what you get at the low end & that’s all, here’s the (long) list of what you get at the high end. Price = no perceived value Range = qualifying value from low to high Golden nuggets!! 💯👌🏼🙌🏻
Whenever I feel lost I am come back to Victor video. After a year listening to victor podcast. My sales is improving a tonne. I work as wedding consultant, my Customer very happy with my service. However, since covid-19 is crashing, I realized my customer buying behavior change as they know they won't get married this year due to the virus. Customer now more towards surveying for next year instead buying for next year event. Victor, if you read this, let me know your thoughts of sales during this pandemic. Thank you ♥️
Great stuff but how about saying: It depends, what would you be interested in??? No price and asking the question at the same time to find out what they really want. Range is a good idea, I use it often(it makes situation more relaxed and gives chance to ask the question), going to higher prices I call “contrast method”, more value is expected to be more expensive... Great stuff Victor ! You really clear all up!
Victor, I stumbled upon your videos two days, after having listened to so many others already on CZcams, and I am soooooooooooo thankful to have found you!! I’ve been listening to your videos and yours only, knowing what you’ve provided is enough! Your Voice is easy and delightful to listen to. You inject some humor. You are so practical. And you are sooooooo humble about how awesome you truly are!!!!
A range is good advice. In my prior cleaning business, people would call for their FREE quote. l would not give a range, I would just say something like it can vary depending on what you need. We offer full service cleaning services that are tailored to your needs. It seemed to work well. 75-85% scheduled for an appointment. 😁👍
If it works,...DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING...ignore me :-) But in a sense you are using "range"; not in range of price but in range of service! Well done! VA
“Give me a price!” “$250,000” “What???!!!” “Well… you said give you a price! You can get a decent little house or a Lamborghini for 250k!” “No… a price for ___” “Ohhh now we’re getting somewhere! Well, we can go anywhere from $750 - $30,000 depending on what you’d like to have done!” Then proceed with some exploratory questions… It makes for a good ice-breaker, and you’re still establishing control when they ask this right off the bat. Joke a little bit, slow the pace, get their guard down and show them that you’re there to take care of all of their needs. They usually go from crossed arms to relaxed and comfortable in a moments notice! In my industry anyway.
This is a very wise advise for someone who is selling a service. and what would you say if, for example, I put a picture of a garment, let's say a coat, that has fixed price on social media, and someone asks me "what's the price of a coat?" What should I do? Thank you.
I would put the price with the picture. Why? I don't want people calling who can't afford it. As that too blunt? With pricing, if they see the coat and like the price,...and they call...they've prequalified themselves. Closing rate goes up...wasted time goes down. What do you think Ella B?! VA p.s., In a near "frictionless economy", consumers don't want an extra step (asking you about price and waiting for response) in the buying process.
@@VictorAntonioLive I like the idea! I'll do it next time when I put a garment on social media without the link of it on the website. I'll tell you about how does it go. :) Thank you.
I love listening to you vids. So informative. Thought I was mr wizard salesman, but then when I listen to you, I learn a new way of looking at the sales process, and I realize that I haven't thought of everything. Thanks for your knowledge.
Also giving a range poses it as a "which" question. Not whether they are going to buy from you but which product they are going to buy. Kind of a pre-close.
Victor Antonio i face a couple of problems 1 ) how do i get people to come into my store im flyering i created a fb page for my store and i just dont seem to see an increase in people coming onto my store ive learned alot from u and ive applied it into my sales and it works i get more out of every sale now but how can i get more sales (more customers insode the store ) 2) how can i get cuatomers more pumped up into buying my product (cell phone )
i am exactly at your position right now, sometimes and i have also tried all sorts of marketing but it didnt boost up even half of the customer walk-in i wanted. The reason is my store iss located in the worst area u can imagine, there is field across the street, no big fast food, no big company that can actually attract customers, thats why no one knows that my store exists here, i am planning on quitting and moving to a better store because i am not making what i am supposed to make and if i put the same effort anywhere else i can make more money
Most times when someone asks for the price immediately in my space, they're just looking for a reason to end the conversation. Using these techniques might work 10% of the time. Depending on their tone of voice... I might just hang-up on them and move on to the next call. One can waste a lot of time fighting with closed-minded jerks who aren't smart enough to look out for their own best interests, and that... is not my problem.
outstanding teaching! I've learned to focus on value, not price bcuz of your videos! When I see your new vids in my email box, I click and grow. thanks, V
Mr Victor you are the besttttttttt!!Greetings from Greece!! You are a true inspiration to all of us!!! Hope for you the best sir!!! Keep selling hard !!!

Hi Victor, thanks for the explanation on this topic. I would really appreciate if you could share a video related to the discuss on call for Magazine business, how to convert on call...by using FAB analysis..I look forward for your response..😊
Hello, Victor, I am Dao (from California), and I just got started with the business of recruiting and the nutrition industry (network marketing). I started watching many of your films for three weeks now, and I absolutely loves it. I watch at least one a day to keep me motivated.Currently, I am focusing on building my team. However, many of the people I see great potential which I know if I could just get them in, they may even surpass me in this business. But, these people either had a bad experience in this business from their past, are what we call "smart-ass," or "Mr. Know it all," someone who is totally ignorant and could not see what I could offer them or someone who believes they are too good for a sales job. So here are my questions for you: (A) Are these people worth the pursuit? (B) If yes, how do you tackle this obstacle? (C) Finally, how much time should I invest in them? Thank you, I hope to hear from you soon! Overcome your fears, Dao Lor
Your advices are very helpful. But I need to have a strong guidance and response from your side "how to close more deals in medical device sales ??" As I am in a medical equipment selling company.
Victor Antonio you know it! Do you have any videos on how to handle when you contact someone whether it be social media or in person with a product / service? in the sense that they may not know they "need" you yet
There are so many ways to answer that question Chris it's impossible 1) without knowing more and 2) without spending some time understand what you offer. Come to one of my workshops in the future and we'll bang out a solution :-) VA
Victor Antonio yeah I didn't want to target it specifically to my case so that other readers/viewers could benefit as well. Sounds great to me. do you come around the pnw?
